Embee and Son

Sorry that I have to write this review. Went to purchase carpet at Embee & Sons. Was purchasing enough for our entire second floor. Got a quote. Went back next day, paid the amount of approximately $4,500 for the carpet. About 3 weeks later, I get a call that the “prices increased”, I owe $600 more if I want the carpet. This is not the way to do business. Think twice before using them.

Our experience with Embee & Son, Inc. began with our visit to their showroom. We were greeted cordially and gently questioned about our plans. We were given general information about what materials were available basically how the design and construction process would go. To make a long story short we were soon in the planning phase- designer visited our home and proceeded to gather the information needed for design; measurements were taken and questions asked about what we thought would have to be done to meet our design ideas. The tile/flooring designer was next who again evaluated what had to be done to meet our design ideas. We along with the designers made tile choices. We were overwhelmed when we met with the design team to see what they came up with. The plans done in CAD were easily understood as was the flat paper 2 dimensional tile blueprint. To us, their work was a work of art. Then the day came- demolition and reconstruction. All we can say is this and we think it will be crystal clear- workers were punctual, neat, polite and conscientious. Very detail oriented. Cleaned up at the end of every workday. We enjoyed the opportunity to serve them a morning cup of coffee and home baked snacks before they left in the afternoon. We cannot emphasize this fact- these men were gentlemen, professional and conscientious. Again, we cannot emphasize the professionalism of these men. The final work was done by the tile installers- again, gentlemen, cordial, friendly and NEAT. Can I make the point that we never heard a swear word uttered. This was impressive to us and we think demonstrates the high level of integrity practiced by Embee and Son, Inc. Oh! And did we say we are so happy with our new bathroom. Our thanks to Embee and Son, Inc.

Thumbs up! The staff at Embee was extremely insightful, creative and courteous. The design team of Vicki and Patrick were extremely helpful and presented several design options for us to choose from in the renovation of our kitchen. There are different pricing levels of cabinetry to fit your needs. Everyone on the Embee team was knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. I would highly recommend them for your next project.

From initial design consultation to the completion of the project the employees at Embee and Son were totally professional, knowledgeable and flexible. I especially appreciated the attention to detail the workers demonstrated. Have used Embee for two bathrooms and a kitchen remodel. Extremely pleased from beginning to end.

Embee & Son was a pleasure to work with. Vicki, our designer was wonderful. She was thoughtful and really listened to how we wanted our kitchen to look and function. Her suggestions for items we didn't think about helped tremendously. Jason, was very helpful with all our questions, and keeping the project on schedule. We are quite pleased with the end result.

Couldn't be happier with our bathroom remodel fron Embee and son. Vicki took the time to listen to our wants and needs and came up with a great design. Vicki and Patrick also worked with us to help us pick our tile, fixtures, colors, and all the finishes from their huge selection. Jason told us what to expect during the remodel and provided us with a detailed schedule ahead of time. The remodel started on time and finished on time and the quality and craftsmanship were top notch. The end result is a bathroom that is functional and looks fantastic and will suit our needs for many years.
