Robin has been very helpful over the years - preventing me from making choices I might regret but at the same time listening to my preferences. I absolutely love the flooring she chose for me. Robin has been an invaluable part of a major renovation to my Edgemont home. Her designs are both beautiful and functional and her bright smile made this a wonderful experience from the onset. I hired Equadesign to assist with the build of a side-by-side in Bridgeland in 2013-2014. Robin was a delight to work with and her cheerfulness and good attitude made a complicated project run smoothly. She created beautiful and precise drawings that were aesthetically pleasing and functional for everyday living. Her good eye, clean lines and ability to make her design fit into a budget was much appreciated. I engaged Robin as my designer when I decided to undertake major renovations in my 4 level split townhouse. My home was built in the 80’s and hadn’t been updated since. Robin helped me design and create a new kitchen, 2 new bathrooms and a powder room, choose new flooring throughout the house, new lighting fixtures and paint, and even new furniture for all the rooms. She has the experience to know what to avoid and look out for, and the designer’s eye to choose colours, textures, and designs that are meant to go together. She quickly picked up on the styles and colours I like, listened to what I would say about what was important to me, and was adept at pulling everything together to make choices that were both beautiful and functional. From room design, to choosing materials, colour and fixtures, and finally to decorating and window coverings, Robin has innovative ideas, practical experience, and great taste. Without Robin I would’ve been overwhelmed by the choices and stymied by decisions. I definitely feel she was the best decision I made in this renovation journey.

Robin at Equa Design is professional, knowledgeable and fun to work with. I shared Houzz idea books with her during the initial design process. With one visit to our apartment, she quickly picked up on our design style and her ideas for our kitchen and bathrooms reno reflected that knowledge. Robin matched suppliers to our design requirements so our time spent shopping for materials, fixtures and appliances was efficient, focused but above all else, fun! Robin efficiently managed a couple rounds of changes on the drawings and then recommended a builder that she thought would meet our needs. And she was right. She also stayed connected to the reno process and provided information and problem solving suggestions as the project moved along. The result? A well designed and executed high-quality renovation. We hired Robin to design and install a reading room/second bed room in our older bungalow, She did a beautiful job of working with the existing footprint; our tight time line and budget. The finished product is modern; comfortable; and liveable. i just love the new room and have spent many hours in there reading; drawing; and relaxing ! i cant wait to work on a new project with her....possibly a bathroom reno !
