Excel Remodeling

We worked with Jim Mirando Sr in 1980's to build a two story addition for us and then a few years later we hired Excel again to build an enclosed patio. In the 1990's Excel remodeled our main bathroom. Those jobs were completed by professional craftsmen, and three decades later we continue to be so pleased that we hired Excel again. We worked with Jim Mirando Jr and his designer daughter. Our 43 year old kitchen was in serious need of updating and we are quite pleased to say that the quality of the work and the professionalism of everyone we had contact with could not have been higher. If and when another remodel/construction job is desired, we will certainly be in touch with Excel. Excel is a superior company.

The Excel team just completed the 4th project we hired them to complete. We previously had Excel redesign our kitchen, both bathrooms and master bedroom, and now they have just finished our family room and foyer. Everything starts with a design that refreshes and draws out our interests, and Excel’s Brian Miller is an incredible designer. His brilliant, unique designs fully incorporate our thinking, and he engages us throughout to ensure all elements come together to our full satisfaction. On this most recent project, we had the great fortune of having Mike B as the lead carpenter and on-site craftsman, and Mike B was fantastic! He brings exceptional skills and is very customer engaging. Jim Miranda Jr. gives his team full reigns to be successful for us and all customers, and he stands behind the quality of craftsmanship. We couldn’t think of choosing someone other that Excel after the 4 wonderful experiences we’ve had with them. We highly recommend Brian for any design challenge and Mike B for any scale of renovation. Bravo, Excel!

I've had two projects done by Excel and both have been on time and excellent quality. Prices are not low, but fair. If you want peace of mind knowing that your project will be done right, go with Excel.

Recently, Excel Interior Concepts and Design constructed an addition to my home to provide an elevator for my residence. We were in design negotiations for about two years, having rejected an initial interior elevator design for the exterior addition design. Excel had done previous renovations for me, and I went to them directly when I decided to put an elevator in my home. They have always provided excellent workmanship, sound design ideas, and strived to accommodate my renovation ideas and needs. The staff in the showroom and in my home were competent, courteous, and capable of troubleshooting when needed. A construction schedule was set up before the project started, and deadlines were met realistically. In my project, negotiations with an elevator company were successfully handled by Excel. The Excel experience was thorough and professional from design to clean-up. I am happy and satisfied with my dealings with Excel.

Jim and his team of tradesmen from Excel designed and remodeled our guest bathroom. We are extremely pleased with the results, which includes all the cleanup, final touches, and follow-up to ensure our complete satisfaction. To be honest, it is even better than we imagined... Our project manager Mike was patient and quite caring about our happiness with his work. The tiler, electrician, plumber, and painter all provided the highest quality results. Mike and his team found an existing problem and fixed it before moving on...we are grateful. Thank you for a spa bathroom that will last us for many years.

I could not be more pleased with the work of Excel. From the excellent design which hit all my wish list items, professionalism of everyone involved, quality of work, and responsiveness to any inquiries. Excel was completely on budget and on schedule. Master bathroom was remodeled and laundry moved to first floor. They provided great design ideas and listened and addressed concerns when I had them. Quality workmanship. They worked on the project like it was their own. Caring people. Time line and budget were followed. Could not be more pleased. I enjoy the results daily.

I recently had my bathroom remodeled by Excel. After three estimates I picked the Excel group because of their professional approach and assistance with my project. Also, the price was excellent. Jim and his staff were easy and patient to work with. All the workers who came into my home were professional and clean and pleasant to deal with. I LOVE my new bathroom and would highly recommend them for any home projects you may need done. Everything they did was very well done and I have no complaints. We hired Excel Interior Concepts and Construction to remodel our kitchen. I gave them several internet photos of kitchens that I liked and they put together a beautiful kitchen- they were very helpful in our choices for the cabinets, backsplash, counters and appliances. The project took 3 weeks and everything was completed in that time. The design staff and construction staff, electrician, painters, tile masters etc. were all professional and excellent. Each day the project area was cleaned up before they left which is something we have never had done in other renovations. We are thrilled with the results and would recommend Excel to anyone who wants a 'high end' look in their home. They have transformed our family room/kitchen!

We used Excel to remodel our master bath. Beautiful design and quality craftsmanship. All subcontractors and workers were respectful of our property and very quiet while working in our home. The finished bathroom design exceeded my expectations.

Excel did a really nice job of remodeling my old kitchen. Jim Mirando has a professional eye for design and makes helpful suggestions in the planning process while keeping your ideas, tastes, and budget in mind. Once the actual work began, it moved along on schedule and was completed on the anticipated due date despite running into an unanticipated plumbing issue I was unaware of, which was resolved quickly. Jim answered phone calls and emails promptly and stayed in touch as the remodel progressed. Follow up on a minor issue with the sink drain was taken care of immediately. A dedicated company with fine work and attention to detail. Will call on them for any future remodeling.

We utilized Excel previously to modernize our kitchen and create some efficiences. They did an awesome job then and thus it was a no brainer to reach out again for them to update our bathrooms. They really work with you to get your thoughts, because they want to meet your needs, and yet they will share their expertise to help make sound decisions. The budget was basically spot on and they completed the job within the established time frame. They made themselves available to answer questions promptly and I truly appreciated the final walk through to again ensure satisfaction. They were great with our dog and were so gracious to even let her out on at least one occasion. It is hard to ask for much more than that.
