I came to Peter Fallon to rebuild our home that we had lost in a fire after Christmas. Having had many bad experiences with contractors in the past, I was a little leery. Peter could not have been more professional, knowledgeable, straightforward or honest. He walked me through the whole process, found me the perfect architect, and assembled an incredible team to inform and guide me through each step. His subcontractors were equally professional and capable and TIMELY! The house was finished close to the expected time and punch list items were tended to expediently. People who have come to visit are awed by the quality of the materials and the high quality of the crew who built, wired, plumbed, painted and landscaped for my project. Peter is a man of his word who takes pride in his company as well as very understanding of the customer. I would highly recommend his company.

Everything was built and installed well, and even after moving in they have been truly committed to tweaking, repairing, or adjusting anything that has needed attention. With any new home, things will come up that have to be fixed or addressed and Fallon has been here to ensure that is done with the highest quality. Quality takes time, but being patient is well worth the wait! Transparency: Fallon has a billing system where all charges are itemized so that clients know exactly what the costs are. This was very helpful to keep track of finances and to make sure all money is accounted for. There is also full transparency in the building process itself. We know exactly what we are getting and how things are being done. Anytime we had a question, we always got a clear straightforward answer. Own mill shop: Fallon's mill shop did all the millwork in our house and the end result has been amazing. The quality of the millwork is the best we've seen and the installation was flawless. The millwork is crisp, clean, well defined and gives a wonderful elegance and beauty to the house. We love our house and the millwork and details play a huge role in that. Ongoing commitment to maintenance and home care: When Fallon builds a home, their work doesn't stop at the completion of the home. They have promised and acted on the promise to continue to maintain the house, and address any issues that come up in the indefinite future. As they put it, "We are your contractors for life." They recently established a maintenance division and their philosophy is to maintain the homes they build long after they have been built. As with any home building process we did face a few challenges. The process took longer that we expected so I would recommend frankly addressing that in the very beginning so that everyone is on the same page. As I mentioned earlier, quality really does take time and it well worth the wait. As the house was nearing completion there were a lot of logistics happening simultaneously that were challenging to coordinate. Moving is a lot of work but I think better communication on our part and better planning with Fallon in the last 6 weeks might have helped the process go more smoothly. Fallon was working really hard to get everything done right and well, and the end of a project may inevitably always be a scramble for both client and builder (kind of like last minute packing before a trip and you're really hoping you don't run out of time). For our specific home building project, it would have been helpful to have a little more lead time to make decisions so that we didn't feel rushed about getting everything done in a timely fashion. We chose practically everything for the house and one example that stands out in my mind is the timing of the kitchen back splash installation. We wanted that finished before move in date and we were finalizing this two weeks before our scheduled move in date. We should have started that a month earlier than we did to ensure that it was finished in time. This was a learning experience for both us and for Fallon. Overall, Fallon Custom Homes did a fantastic job and it was truly a pleasure to work with them. The quality is amazing and the staff is so wonderful. If we ever build again in the future, we would absolutely work with them again!

We hired Peter Fallon in June of 2013 to do a major renovation on my parent’s old house. He assisted us in finding an architect and actively helped us with the plans. When it turned out that the renovations we needed simply weren’t tenable on this particular property, we decided to raze it and build a new house. The property had zoning issues due to it being sited on a non-conforming lot. Peter was extremely helpful, ushering us through the process to obtain approval from the town’s Zoning Board. And he found us a company that was able to strip the old house of any reusable items before demolition. When you contract with Fallon you can be sure you are getting a product of the highest quality. And when there are problems, (and all new builds experience problems) his team will make sure they are resolved to your satisfaction. He ensures that everyone working on your house is neat, polite and respectful of both homeowners and abutting neighbors. And he doesn’t consider the job done when he hands over the keys. He has his own maintenance crew to provide care and upkeep of the properties he builds. We love our new home. It’s beautiful and functional. Peter Fallon and his team have completed three major projects for us starting in 2000 building out our full basement in Wellesley, in 2006 building a three story custom home on the ocean in the Mystic CT area and in 2012 completely updating our kitchen at our Wellesley home. Fallon did a 400 sq foot addition to our kitchen/famly room. the work also included new counters and some refurbishing of cabinets. All the work was done on time and under budget. Execution was perfect--workmanship and finish --Wow!. Peter is a man of detail and professionalism. the work site was cleaned every day and the workers were quire--no music! The addition looks like an integral part of the existing home--a seamless addition. My wife and I recommend Fallon enthusiastically!

Fallon built a wonderful house for us 10 years ago and this summer they helped us do a 10 year refresh, particularly after a rough winter. He has the best carpenters and painters around. We plan to keep using Fallon to keep the house up to date and in top condition.
