Russell Fitzhugh is the contractor you can trust. I always recommend him to my friends and coworkers, and they have been very happy with their renovations. This is the fourth project that Russell has completed on my house over the past decade. For the upstairs room addition and the kitchen remodel, he was the foreman. I was very impressed with his work and that he was actively training the men working for him. Later, Russell had his own company, and has helped me with general repairs and smaller projects. The current project, a bathroom remodel and replacing the front door and sidelights, is amazing. The bathroom is like being at a spa. The front door looks great, with sidelights that open to the breeze. Russell completed most of the work. The painter for the front door, and the drywall and tile subcontractors spoke well of Russell and clearly liked working with Russell and his company. Monica handled the billing and invoices. Everything was transparent, documented and correct. Russell is always on time, respects your time, keeps your house clean, and keeps you informed about what work is scheduled and when. I continue to recommend Fitzhugh Construction.

Russell was very professional in organizing the project. I really appreciated the way he communicated through all phases through the project. He also coordinated the different pieces of the project, having the sub-contractors scheduled and showing up as planned. The finished product was what we asked for and more. The subcontractors he used(drywall, counter tops and tile) were all professional and did exemplary work. Russell did a fantastic job on my kitchen remodel. We discussed what I wanted done and he listened well, giving me options and sound helpful advice about different features and at various decision points. He did much of the work himself and worked with excellent subcontractors who did the cabinetry, dry wall, and countertops. The work was done timely and of the highest quality. I am thrilled with the result!

Russel remodeled my kitchen completely and it's beautiful! Budget and design were agreed on prior to work starting, adhered to, and when unexpected scope was identified, I felt the charges were completely in line with the work performed. The quality of his carpentry and other work was exceptional, all details were perfectly executed. The project area was kept as broom clean as could be expected and precautions were taken to keep the rest of the house dust free. I couldn't be happier with the result. I will be asking him for a quote for doing my bathrooms.

We finished a big remodel in December 2022: replaced doors, floors, new paint, updated 2 bathrooms, added a 3rd bathroom and completely overhauled and relocated our kitchen. Russell and Shafik were wonderful from the very first meeting. They spent at least 90 min discussing our project, taking measurements and sharing their thoughts before we had even decided to work with them. The job contract was detailed and transparent and they carefully considered our budget throughout the entire project. They were always friendly, professional and punctual despite us living in the home (3 boys under 5) while they worked, hot and smoky weather and busy schedules. Their (and the work of all of their subcontractors’) work was of the highest quality and they made cost effective adjustments whenever needed; there were never any undesirable “surprises.” The finished project is functional, practical and absolutely beautiful. We love it! They became friends during their work with us and my boys still talk about them daily. We have referred numerous family and friends to them. A million percent recommend!

We are thrilled with our kitchen remodel done by Imagine Renovation! It started when both Russell and Shafik spent almost 2 hours at our first consultation, and came up with brilliant ideas that they ended up executing completely professionally, in the time frame that they promised (okay, there were a couple of slight delays due to supply issues) and their communication was always spot on. They sealed off the rest of the house and everything besides the work area stayed really clean. And the work area was left clean every day. Their pricing seems very fair. We had a plumbing problem which involved removing a portion of the popcorn drywall ceiling in the family room and a section of a closet wall. We had a special request to have the job finished as quickly as possible. Even though Russell Fitzhugh had a busy schedule, he and his crew worked Friday night, Saturday, part of Sunday and Monday afternoon into evening to complete our job. Talk about devotion to your clients! Can you imagine removing a popcorn ceiling and not finding one kernel of the popcorn anywhere? That's how complete a job this team did! Not only was the job completed to our total satisfaction, it was finished on time and within budget. By the way, a son in Oregon who has experience with building said our cost was very reasonable! Russell was absolutely amazing to work with! From his communication to execution, we could not be happier. Each day everything was cleaned and we received communication on what would happen next. We added 400+ sq ft to our Victorian home and you truly can’t tell where the old ends and the new begins.
