I initially contracted Flintstones to repair my chimney. This they agreed to do, although they advised me to rebuild it. Once they began the repair, new information came to light that convinced me that they were right. So a new contract was drawn up for a rebuild. You might expect that this would have proved considerably more expensive - but it was not! Everyone at Flintstones with whom I dealt was professionally expert and personable too. All scheduling commitments were met on time. Now I have a well-made, good-looking chimney with a warranty I know I will never need, backed by a company I trust will honour it if tomorrow proves I am wrong about this today. Flintstones re-created a beautiful yard for my ocean front heritage home. Stone walls, stairs and pathways; drainage; lighting; wooden stairway and landing; and house repair and improvement. Sheila and I recommend Flintstones without hesitation for their brilliant service. They live up to their motto of Do it Once. Do it Right. Our house is built on rock at the bottom of a slope. There have been drainage problems for years with numerous contractors trying to make permanent solutions. The last attempt worked until a sump pump seized during a flood. We called Flintstones for help knowing nothing about them and Mike the boss turned up straightway, diagnosed the problem, removed the faulty pump and replaced it. A great relief. Mike offered to send us a proposal if we wanted which we accepted. The proposal included a complete design and layout which was explained to us in detail to ensure we understood it. In came a crew of happy, pleasant coordinated workers working non-stop. Of particular note was the care to protect the house from dust and dirt and the handling of plants and turf and our two dogs who grew to love them. When the workers left the grass and plants had been replaced and with a few weeks of dry weather no-one will know what had been done. We now have peace of mind. The new sump pumps can handle volumes of drain water far greater then we will ever experience, is silent, connects with a rebuilt drainage system (9 feet down!) which feeds into the fresh water drain and not illegally into the sewer. Plus we can now go away with confidence since even a power failure in the middle of a storm will be handled by the backup battery system.

Our experience with Flintstones Masonry was nothing short of exceptional from start to finish! I had to have the exterior drainage system replaced on an older home. I don't live in Victoria and all my dealings with Flintstones were by e-mail. They were very easy to communicate with and responded promptly to all my correspondence. The job was done on time and on budget. We needed our chimney redone. Flintstones Masonry came out right away and gave me an estimate. They explained everything that needed to be done and how they would do it. The crew was friendly and very professional. They had a lot of options for how my finished chimney would look. The job was done on time. When the crew left every thing was clean and there was no damage done to my garden. My chimney looks great and I do not have to worry about it in the future.

My business is located in an old brick building. In the middle of a roofing project, we had a call from the roofer explaining that they had exposed seriously degraded brick work around the top of the building, and that it was not structurally sound. I called Mike De Palma from Flintstones as I was driving to the office, and his foreman actually beat me there!
