James and Kelly run a top-notch business. We are a military family that has used General Repairs exclusively since 2008. James impressed us immediately with his conscientious and careful work. He measures twice before cutting, he takes his time to plan the project perfectly, and then he executes that plan with the expertise of a highly skilled craftsman. Since our lifestyle has taken us overseas much of our career we have trusted General Repairs to care for the upkeep of our home and repair. They have never let us down. They are always dependable, trustworthy and honest. Finding someone like James and Kelly has been a God-send. It is so nice to know that whatever we need it will be done right and with the care that I would give it. It also will be done a thousand times better than I would do it. I would recommend General Repairs LLC to anyone needing repairs. Mr. Mercaldo was very professional from my 1st contact with him. He replaced some rotted wood on the front porch. He promptly came out to give me an estimate and explained the work in laymen's terms. The project was completed on budget and on time. The quality of his work is excellent. I have used him twice and always think of him first when repairs are needed. If you have projects, big or small, give him a try. You won't we disappointed!!!

James is a quality craftsman who truly pays attention to detail as well as quality. Hard to find this type of contractor these days. I hired General Repairs LLC to finish a large 3d floor space. They did an outstanding job from start to finish to include the installation of closets, sheetrock, and painting at a very reasonable cost. Highly recommend this company.

James Mercaldo competently completed several relatively small jobs at a reasonable price. Such as wooden railings on my front porch and back deck. Also devised a sliding door on the back of a low stationary kitchen cabinet for easier access. Other contractors would only consider redoing the entire counter top and cabinet area which would cost $$$ more.

General Repair (James) has been my contractor for the past 9 years. He and I are the only people who make improvements to my home. He has installed a composite deck, front storm door, numerous ceiling fan/lights, replaced the interior of all toilets, wall/ceiling painting to name just a few of his projects. He is professional, knowledgeable and the quality of his work is second to none. He completes all jobs on time and within budget. My wife always felt comfortable when he was in our home even during my absence. You will not find a more trusted and respected contractor/individual.

If there were more stars to give, I ABSOLUTELY would have given more. The repairs/renovations that I had done more than exceeded my expectations. I had ceramic tile placed in two bathrooms, replaced patio door, switch out light fixtures, added a butcher's block counter to my kitchen, added a space inside bedrooms and living room walls to run television cords, and other electronics. The projects were completed on time and to my satisfaction. The work was done professionally, and the staff was very polite. I highly recommend General Repairs for any of your home repair needs.

General Repairs did a wonderful job at my house. Most of the tasks were fixing issues due to outdoor wear and tear from the elements. I have recommended this company to neighbors and will continue to call on them for renovations and repairs!
