My husband and I had a challenging hardwood flooring job which required installing a new hardwood floor section into an existing hardwood floor. Paul offered excellent suggestions on how to patch the existing floor and, more importantly, make the finished results look seamless and consistent with the existing hardwood. You would never know that this floor wasn't laid all at the same time. Anyone visting raves about the beautiful floors. Paul is very professional, on time, and overall a wonderful person to work with. We intend to have him come back and refinish other rooms very soon!

Paul did an amazing job and was highly professional throughout the entire process. He revived the most beat ugly oak floors into something magical for our family to enjoy. The job was extremely clean as well, no dust to be found. He graciously stained multiple samples on the floor so we could narrow our color choice. Paul did an amazing job on our floors. Our house is from 1750, with the rooms that he worked on from approximately 1850. Before moving in, it was clear that two main rooms needed significant work on the floors. Paul had worked on my sister's home and turned her lead painted floors into the most beautiful that I've seen, so we asked him to refinish ours as well. The floors were beaten up- big scratches with lots of damage. He worked tirelessly for 3-4 days and brought them back to life! The floors look beautiful- natural with a glow, and are now ready to take on the heavy traffic that is in front of them. I cannot thank him enough for the incredible work and would HIGHLY recommend him- his pricing is fair, he does exactly what he commits to and works incredibly hard to make your floors the most beautiful aspect of your home.

Paul is master of his trade... We asked Paul to refinish our first floor hardwood floors (1k sq ft). Paul had come to us by way of a neighbor's referral. We now both agree the quality of his work is second to none. And there was no dust reside! As much as he mentioned there wouldn't be, I expected it. Was thrilled when there was none! Paul’s work is very detailed. He works very hard to please the customer. He recently refinished a problem room of ours, that had some sun bleaching and a black spot from cat urine. I didn’t think he could get the spot out, but he did! He did such a wonderful job on that one room, we got another quote and asked him back to do the rest of the hardwoods. We also asked him to use a stain to bring out the grain. His machinery is state of the art. There was no dust anywhere! I can’t tell you how happy we are! I work from home and are on them everyday. If you need your hardwoods redone Paul is the guy! It’s so nice to have a fresh update after more than 20 years!

Paul's craftsman skill and work ethic demonstrates respect for his customer and love of his work! He communicates and gets the job done right. There were some extenuating time parameters we had to work with on both Paul's and my side. I was moving into a new work space that came with a beautiful, intricate patterned floor of many woods and brass inlay but, it had seen better days, and I had a move-in deadline. Even with the hurdles, Paul got the job done on schedule, working late into the night. In the process we both learned what purple heart wood looks like! Before refinishing, it looked dark brown. The variety of woods, the varied directions, and the brass accent inlay all required thoughtful attention, some by hand. The floor is stunning! Paul was wonderful to work with: accommodating, pleasant, reliable, talented, and an all around nice guy. He's an excellent choice. .

I hired Paul to refinish the old pine board floors in an upstairs apartment I recently purchased. I found him just through some online searches and was impressed with photos from earlier jobs. In my case, the apartment had long been neglected and the floors had taken a beating and were painted over many times. I questioned whether they were even salvageable. Not only did the floors turn out to be salvageable, but in their refinished state they are without question the best feature in the apartment. I took a lot of prospective tenants to view the apartment, from all walks of life, and every one of them raved about the floors. They look brand new. Not only did the job turn out great, but Paul was excellent to work with. He worked in oppressive conditions - in the upstairs of an old house in the dead of summer without air conditioning - without complaint. I recently acquired my childhood home and decided to do a complete remodel before I moved back in. The hardwood floors are original from when the house was built in 1959. My parents had lived in the home for over 45 yrs and they were the second owners. I honestly had no idea what to expect or if the floors could be refinished. I met with Paul and he did the walk thru of the house. He was extremely knowledgeable about wood types and flooring. I could tell he was a true craftsman and was passionate about his work. Now that my floors are done, all I can say is WOW ...beyond my highest expectations !!

Right from the start we knew Paul was the perfect person for the job. He connected with us right away, and carefully explained the process involved. We were refinishing our ENTIRE first floor (over 3,000 sq ft) and Paul's work was seamless. He was clean, efficient, and most importantly.... communicative. We also thought his prices were very fair. He was able to sand out and repair major scuffs, scrapes, gouges in our floor and restore it to a beautiful natural wood (we went with no stain). I highly recommend him.
