I was exceptionally happy with how the main floor renovation was completed in my home. The quality of work was beyond my expectations and I am completely delighted with the end result. "This review should have been written in December 2019, but sadly December came and went and here we are in November 2020, almost a year later, living in a very different world. We have been working from home since the middle of March and the impact of this renovation has never been more deeply felt and appreciated. Having your home ripped apart and having strangers inhabit it daily, is a stressful process. But that process was made so much less stressful when the people in the house are of the caliber of the ones from Harrison. Thank you for putting together a team of people who, after 7 weeks, felt more like friends! Thank you for doing quality work. Thank you for cleaning up every night before you left. Thank you to the electrician that’s worked till late into the night to be sure that everything was ready for the construction crew. Thank you to the painters who shared some painting tips with me! Thank you Natasha for handling every potential meltdown with incredible grace and calm. You took two dark dreary spaces and created a bright, airy space that has made my hours spent at the dining room table an absolute pleasure. As a family, we spend hours in that space cooking, eating, hanging out, laughing and loving every minute of this blessing.

Harrison & Co. recently renovated our kitchen and dining room. From the design with Erica, to the actual construction with Tyler and his team, we were impressed at how smoothly the process went. All of Tyler's team were friendly, courteous and their work was of the highest standard. Construction was finished on time and we are delighted with the finished product.

I got referred to Tyler and his team based on a recommendation from a colleague who had 3 sets of friends who had hired Harrison and Co. for their projects. It was easy to see why. From the high quality work that was done, the promptness with communication and the professionalism of all the trades that worked on my project was exemplary. There was minimal disruption while I was living in my home during the project, my questions were always answered in a timely manner and I always felt that my vision was respected and accommodated whenever possible. After having many contractors and kitchen companies come to look at our home, we met with Tyler and Erica from Harrison Design Build Inc., in Guelph, and hired the company to do a major renovation on our 24 year old bungalow. This included a complete kitchen/family room reno (which involved the removal of walls), laundry room and powder room update, new stairs and railings as well as hardwood floor refinishing etc. Erica worked with us to design the space and she was wonderful! She made suggestions, really listened to our wants and needs and was so sweet and patient! She took us shopping for the things we needed (i.e., flooring, countertop, plumbing fixtures, paint colour, fireplace stone etc.) and guided us through the decision making. We are so happy with all of our choices! Erica and Tyler are very personable and we became very fond of them and the entire crew....Trevor, Brian, Robert, Jessie and Marcie. Tyler's crew did an amazing job at the construction end. Each one was very skilled and friendly. They always cleaned up at the end of the day which was important as we were living in the house throughout the time span. Any sub contractors that Tyler hired were trustworthy and competant. Tyler himself, had each day so organized that everything went smoothly from beginning to end. He visited regularily to oversee the project and was very particular. Tyler worked closely with Ben from “Enrich It Woodworks” (also in Guelph) who made all of our cabinets. They communicated often which helped to make the cabinet part of the project fall into place easily. We are so pleased with our new space and how problem free this large project was. We would highly recommend Harrison Design Build Inc. We will have them back to renovate our bathrooms next!

Harrison and Co helped us turn our 1838 stone one bedroom cottage into a 3 + 1 bedroom, 3 1/2 bath home with an attached double garage and new utility basement. Everything they did to our house was done with integrity, honesty and pride in excellent workmanship. They oversaw every detail, from the big job of digging out a basement and a foundation for the 2 car garage, to assisting us with paint colour choices. They did it in budget and on time. Our dealings with every member of their crew was never anything but positive. We went on to recommend them to other friends and family members and they, in turn, have recommended them to others. We now want to re-do our kitchen and I wouldn't dream of going with anyone else.
