My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

John and H&J Landscaping completely transformed our backyard, and we couldn’t be happier. He installed a paver patio with borders, concrete step stones with decorative rocks, eco-friendly artificial turf, and a wooden overhang for shade. The yard is now much more functional and looks incredible. The quality of work was excellent, and the pricing was very reasonable compared to other estimates we received. Communication could have been better at times, but having Tony and Yee involved during the quoting process helped a lot. Overall, the experience was positive and I would definitely recommend H&J Landscaping for backyard renovations.

I worked with John from H&J Landscaping Services on a complete front yard overhaul, and the results were fantastic. Over about two months, he redid our small concrete driveway, installed step stone slabs, added beach pebbles, new lawn, flower beds, and landscape lighting. The transformation was amazing, and we’ve received countless compliments - especially during the holidays when we had guests over. John was very affordable and his quote was fair for a licensed contractor with his level of experience. I’ve learned the hard way not to hire unlicensed workers, and this experience reinforced that decision. I’m already planning to work with him again for backyard projects like a retaining wall, garden beds, and possibly a concrete patio with a pergola. Highly recommend.

John and his team did great work at a fraction of the cost compared to most landscape contractors. There were a few minor miscommunications along the way, but nothing significant enough to take away from the quality of the final result. The concrete work was done properly with excellent finishing. The slope directs water away from the house, and the drainage system ties perfectly into the downspout and runs to the front of the property. Any questions I had were handled quickly by calling the main business line - Tony was especially helpful and always got answers for me. John stays very busy, so communication could improve at times, but overall the value, workmanship, and results were excellent. I’d rate it a 4.5 out of 5, which easily rounds up to 5 stars.

John and his crew showed up on time and did an excellent job on our project. The work took slightly longer than expected due to delivery issues with the concrete, but that was completely out of their control. They handled extensive concrete work, installed proper drainage, built a beautiful flagstone patio, and laid artificial turf. There were a couple of hiccups caused by the concrete delivery truck, but John and his team addressed the issues immediately and made everything right. They respected our property, cleaned up thoroughly, and were very professional throughout the process. I would absolutely recommend this company for any concrete or hardscaping work.
