From the very first consultation on ordering our window shades, Holly was very helpful and had a lot of expertise and knowledge on the products that she introduced to us. Never having ordered blinds before, she made it very easy for my husband and I to choose just the right shades. We used Holly Jacobs Design to purchase window coverings for our new home. Holly was willing to come with samples as many times as was needed to help us choose fabric for our drapes and pieces of furniture that we had recovered. She was very knowledgable and supportive in a professional manner. Her years of experience steered us and yet, she was intent that the look we achieved met our personal tastes. Both the workroom she used for the drapes and the reupholsterer for the furniture did top notch work. Not only that, but she was a pleasure to have in our home. The added bonus was Steve, her husband, who came to install both shutters and draperies with meticulous care. He also made multiple trips to be sure he is got the job done right. Holly was patient with our decision making process, respectful of our budget and understood our functional and aesthetic design requirements. We shopped around but were unable to find anyone who could meet Holly's selection, service, experience or prices. Steve was equally professional with the installation: clean, courteous, efficient--and he did the install with a baby sleeping!

I was looking for some timeless yet cost effective window coverings. My living room window had nothing at all and the bedroom had white vinyl mini blinds on each window. I called Holly and she was able to come out the next day with samples. I never knew how many shades of white there are! She showed me a white faux wood blind she thought would look best with my white wood wrapped and trimmed windows. I went with her suggestion and am so pleased with how they look! From the measuring to the installation it was such an easy process and it was less expensive than I thought it would be. Overall this has been one of the best experiences I've had with anyone coming out to my house to do improvements.

Holly is an absolute pleasure to work with, and her color sense is impeccable. She has helped us with window treatments and bedding on two separate occasions and in two different houses. We liked her work so much when she did our first house in Issaquah that we sought her out when we built our second house in Fall City. Holly is better at listening to her customers than any other design professional I've ever worked with; she will always select designs that both my husband and I like, based on what we've told her, or based on what she sees in our home. She and her team are also great about installations, always punctual and very attentive to detail. I highly recommend Holly for any window covering or soft design project.
