My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Founded in 2000 by Heather Ryan, H. Ryan Studio specializes in Interior Architecture & Design. Our projects range from designing beautiful rooms to full remodels & new construction. We love mixing traditional & modern design elements in unexpected ways. We layer walls & furnishings w/ fabulous patterns & texture, both sophisticated & casual. Our signature is creating timeless interiors with a point of view that’s stylish & trend resistant. In addition to design services, Heather passionately hunts through estate sales & auctions houses around the world seeking beautiful one-of-a-kind pieces with a history. She acquires 20th century antiques & treasures that were personally owned by legendary tastemakers like Ann Getty, Gertrude Vanderbilt Whitney, Andre Leon Tally, Diana Vreeland and others that have a special place in our history. Some pieces are found in mint condition while others are reimagined & restored with a fresh perspective. Each piece has panache & style of its own with a story to be told. She is an exceptional designer who really listens to her clients, provides options, delivers on time, does not get offended when you change directions or when you don't like something and perhaps most importantly she is both fun and funny. Wow, where to start? Heather and her team are an absolute pleasure to work with! Heather has taken my raw, cold, industrial loft space and transformed it into a wonderfully livable home that flows seamlessly. Heather is not only an extremely talented designer but she is a savvy business woman that really gets to know her clients on a personal level in order to create a space of their dreams. Heather is a triple threat in the design world. Not many people have the creativity of an artist, the professionalism and attention to detail of a CPA and the communication skills of a therapist! More than anything, I really appreciate Heather and her team breaking down what I thought would be an overwhelming and stressful process into a fun, creative and self-discovery tour. I could not imagine recommending anyone more highly for design. Thank you Heather!

I found Heather and her team to be tmely, creative, accurate, and stylish (of course) making my home one that I love to come back to everyday. Heather Ryan designed my master bath and daughter's bedroom. In addition, she's helped me pick out countless pieces of furniture and light fixtures. Heather is spot on! I am in awe of her creativity, vision and ability to understand my tastes. She constantly provides me with fresh ideas that I would never dream about on my own. The master bath is a haven; even my husband comments on how "luxurious" it feels. I literally enjoy the room everytime I walk into it. My daughter's room is a nature inspired, cozy nest. She loves curling up on her window seat to read or play with her dolls. Heather is prompt, responsive and detail oriented. I can't imagine using anyone else besides Heather to help me with any design. She is the BEST!!!!
