About Us

"Interiors by Lucy Malagisi" are harmonious, creative, and always inspired by the client's tastes, preferences, style and budget. With a background in Information Technology and a career in the field which spans over 20 years, Lucy has developed excellent work ethics, analytical, leadership and time management skills. She changed careers in 2006 to follow her passion for decorating and design, graduated with top marks and received the Outstanding Achievemnet Award. She has contributed and has been published in the decorating magazine "Wall to Wall" and has appeard on local Montreal television shows. With her natural flair for color, space, style and the proper training, she has developed her "designer's eye", to combine fabrics, flooring, and furniture to create harmonious interiors. Through skillful planning and desgin, she makes effective use of your space to bring out the best features of your home.

Lucy was amazing to work with from start to finish. From the original design concepts to tweaking to come up with the final floor plan, material selection she was always available. She came by frequently during construction to check on progress and answer any questions from the trades and helped brainstorm solutions to unexpected issues. Lucy is a true professional. Extremely knowledgeable and easy to work with.

This was a project we were going to do on our own. Lucy was very helpful throughout the whole process from laying out the design to finding the pieces we needed. She was available to us when the Reno’s needed adjustment, and helped us find solutions. We love our new powder/ laundry room, it’s bright, feels spacious and is a very functional laundry room. We will be using Lucy for our next project.

We have just finished our bathroom project with Lucy and she was wonderful to work with. She saw immediately that we knew what we wanted in terms of material and let us choose according to our taste. She guided us with colour choices and polished off the end of the project with some great accessories to stage the bathroom. It feels like a real high-end spa with her finishing touches!

My bathroom / laundry renovation was a success because of Lucy’s professionalism, knowledge and ability to think outside the box. The very small main bathroom in my house also served as laundry room. Everything about the bathroom and the mini washer/dryer combo frustrated me. The room was cramped and impractical. Lucy listened to my ideas and requirements and prepared preliminary drawings. We finalized the final design together, she helped me hire a contractor and provided valuable assistance throughout the process. I now have a beautiful, spacious and functional bathroom and I couldn’t be happier with the laundry closet housing the new full size appliances. The final result was better than I ever expected and Lucy's services made it possible. I highly recommend Interiors by Lucy Malagisi.

Love love love Lucy!!! She's amazing she helped plan and decorate my baby's room and my basement to make a playroom/family room with not a lot of space to work with Honestly couldn't be happier with the outcome!! Can't wait to do more projects together! Next the spare room ;)

Commented: Are the bottom cabinets custom or stock? Do they fit hanging files?The bottom cabinets are custom made. The lower drawer fits hanging files and the upper drawer is smaller and is used for stationary or even to store a laptop when not in use.
