I introduced Nancy to a contractor I've worked with successfully, and who is 6 years into his 7 year apprenticeship under FL law. He works directly under a licensed contractor, as required, and does excellent work. I was trying to help her get what she needed at a good price. Also, I spent hours at Nancy's house discussing her design ideas, several on a Sunday to accommodate her schedule. I spent a 12 hour day shopping with Nancy, and made all the selections for the bathroom cabinets, tile for the walls and floors, and all the plumbing hardware. Nancy then took that plumbing hardware information and bought everything herself, online, which I consider theft of service. She wasted hours of my salesperson's time and expertise putting this plan together, and violated a clause in our contract that calls for making purchases through me. And still I made an effort to continue working with Nancy. I tried to order a special door for her, and made color suggestions when asked. She walked into the cabinet company to place her order, and made it known that she did not want me to know she was placing the order, thus depriving my salesman from earning his commission for the work he did creating the design. Nancy is proof that there are two sides to every story. This is a mean spirited review.
