J&B Fine Cabinetry

Since moving into our home, 10 years prior to the kitchen remodel, I've been collecting inspiration photos from Houzz for my dream kitchen. When I met Hunter from JB in S. Tampa and showed him my ideas, he immediately got my vision. He created a gorgeous rendering of what the kitchen would look like. I absolutely loved the cabinet style and stain he suggested. He was so patient and provided alternatives when we needed to cut costs and add more storage, adjusting the estimate, as needed, in a very timely manner. The install proceeded seamlessly, the quality of the cabinets is top notch, and the follow-up/customer service has been impressive. This is a very high quality, client- oriented small business and my experience could not have been better. I would 100% use them again in any future project.

Unbelievable how smoothly working with J&B Fine Cabinetry on my remodeled kitchen went. Peggy is an outstanding designer and Bill is an over the top craftsman.

Bill and Peggy did the cabinet work in our new home and we could not be more pleased with the results. They worked with us in selecting details and hardware for the cabinet design, including hanging glass cabinets over the bar. Their work is of excellent quality and they were a pleasure to work with throughout the process. Everything came out just as we had envisioned.

My wife and I contracted with Bill and Peggy at J&B Fine Cabinetry to design and install new kitchen cabinets in our 60+ year old kitchen. We chose cabinets, hardware and countertops from a large variety of examples available to us in their showroom. Peggy took the time to mix and match many combinations of cabinet doors/colors, hardware and countertop materials/colors till we found the combination that worked for us. Gea is their Certified Kitchen Designer. She came to our home and took measurements of our kitchen and input the information into her design program. Suggestions were made on new locations for the appliances that we’d purchased months earlier…and we settled on the final layout. Because we had to remove existing overhead soffit boxes to allow for taller cabinets, along with making plaster repairs before the new cabinets arrived…dimensional drawings of the new layout were provided by J&B so that we knew exactly where we needed to move existing electrical outlets as well as where to add new. Their drawings were accurate to the inch! The cabinets arrived on their appointed date. Bill arrived with the cabinets to ensure that each component was 100%. Each cabinet piece was serialized from the factory, with their matching numbers and locations on the installer’s drawings as well as ours. Our cabinet installer was Chris and it was obvious to us that he’d been doing cabinetry for some time. Because our home was built over sixty years ago, square and plumb are just so-so. Chris took the time to place each cabinet temporarily in its final resting place so that he could take measurements that would allow him to make adjustments to each cabinet in such a way that they would end-up plumb and square – even if the walls and ceiling weren’t. When he was done, there wasn’t a gap showing that would leave one to believe that there was a wonky wall or ceiling in our kitchen! When he was done installing the cabinets, he took the time to adjust each door so that they were all level and matched each other in appearance – then he vacuumed! After all the cabinetry was completed, J&B had their preferred counter-top installer come by and make a 3D template of our kitchen with a Laser/Templator. When the quartz count-tops arrived, they fit perfectly because they were custom cut before arrival. Everyone on the team goes above and beyond to ensure that the customer has a great experience, on the first try!

We are delighted with the kitchen remodel J&B recently completed for us. The design phase was creative and functional, incorporating many new ideas which were clearly explained on renderings before any decisions were made. The quality and construction of the cabinets provided by J&B was superior to other providers we looked into and the installation was meticulous. J&B’s ability to work with other vendors ( counters, appliances and fixtures ) helped greatly in our project. I highly recommend J&B cabinetry, they are already designing a master bath renovation in our home.

Bill Parr and J&B Fine Cabinetry created our kitchen and master bath cabinets in Year 2000. 21 years later our cabinets are still solid and in style. We continuously get compliments on our kitchen, especially. Bill was very easy to work with and our project was installed on a timely basis. Complete satisfaction here!!

J&B was terrific from start to finish. Their design of our kitchen met all of our objectives. We also had them design and build cabinets for our master bath and three guest bathrooms. Their attention to detail and meticulous installation resulted in a completed project that exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend J&B.

Unfortunately I didn’t have a good experience with this company. I spent months making the decision to use them. Then when I gave them the job I found out they were trying to charge me $500 more for my countertops then I would have paid a stone company directly. When I mentioned this to the owner Bill Parr he threatened to sue me. They also measured the drawer next to my Dishwasher wrong and instead of remaking the drawer they just cut it shorter and to this day it still hits my dishwasher. I called them recently to make an adjustment to one of the cabinets and they not only refused to come out they threatened to sue me again if I wrote a bad review about them. I am disappointed that they don’t stand by their work and seem to be sue happy. I would not recommend using this company. I plan to write reviews on other sites as well to warn other consumers of their policies.

J&B did our kitchen renovation in our new home. They were fabulous from start to finish. Super down to earth and helped us on all fronts. We truly enjoyed working with them and highly recommend them! We wouldn’t do another kitchen with any one else!

We highly recommend J&B Cabinetry. We contracted a remodel of our kitchen and bathrooms. We were very pleased with the design plan by Hunter. His attention to detail is noteworthy. He was attentive and worked with us throughout the project. In addition He was instrumental in selecting the color palate. The installation was superior. The cabinetry is well constructed and the finished product is beautiful.
