Van Wicklen Design

Jeannette Van Wicklen is an awesome designer! My husband and I remodeled the exterior and interior of a 1981-built home, i.e., our home was DATED. We wanted a more contemporary look. The project lasted about four months. I relied on Jeannette's expertise for just about everything: exterior and interior paint colors, window design, all new doors (including front entry and garage}, interior and exterior lighting, conversion of the under-stairs closet into a cozy reading "nook," kitchen redesign including creation of a breakfast bar and custom shelving, and remodel of the master bath. Jeannette was incredibly gracious while helping me stay within budget, She is also patient: I sent her endless photos of wall sconces, mirrors, hardware for doors/cabinets, ceiling fans, chairs, bar stools, etc., and she was gently honest (replies ranged from "Not crazy about that one," to "I LUV this one."). No matter what the problem (and there were several), she came up with a solution(s) while still achieving the look we wanted. Our house looks fantastic! I cannot praise Jeannette enough.

Jeanette is amazing! She was able to look at photos of my kitchen, and living/dining room areas and give us great ideas. She selected paint colors for the walls and kitchen cabinets. She compiled a board with furniture suggestions, lamps, rugs, lighting ideas and links to websites to purchase items. She was able to meet our budget and deadlines. We loved the final look of everything!

Not only was Jeannette brilliant with her design, she took budgets into careful consideration and found incredible selection options that fit our style and budget. She was incredibly responsive and her follow-up has been impeccable.

Jeanette helped us choose materials and paint colors for our kitchen and bedroom. I fell madly in love with her home and asked her if she could help me "accessorize" my house, as well. She evaluated our house, considered our budget and chose beautiful , tasteful, affordable touches that transformed our entire house and decor! I cried when I walked in. She had incorporated the things I told her that were special to me and integrated all the new items. She really captured my taste and surpassed all my expectations. Very personal. Exceptional. One of my favorite moments...when I walked in the door and saw my home transformed. My family really loved it, too!

Jeanette Van Wicklen has the natural and authentic ability to create livable, warm, inspiring spaces that make people feel welcome. The first time I walked into a Van Wicklen home I didn't want to leave! Literally, I begged my husband to buy it! Since then I have had the pleasure of working with Jeanette and getting to know her. She is a warm, funny, creative and oh so interesting! She stands for the best things design has to offer like creating spaces to spend time with family and make memories with friends. I have referred her several times and everyone loves her and is exceedingly happy with her work. I cannot say enough nice things about Jeanette, her abilities and her talent.

Jeannette was amazing and a pleasure to work with. Wonderful ideas just spill out of her.. We used her for a paint schedule for our new home and other ideas for our kitchen remodel. We can't wait to work with her again...

I hire this firm to redo my living room. She was very direct with the way she worked and her fees. I felt I knew what to expect. She was honest and very nice. She understood my needs and style and deliver on it while keeping my budget in mind. I would use her again and I highly recommend her firm.

Working with Jeanette is an incredible experience! This was the second project that we had worked on together. She has great taste and is able to mix and match higher end pieces with more budget friendly pieces to create a classic pulled together look. The final product was spectacular with a flair and feel that I could never have achieved on my own. She is incredibly responsive to email and generous with her time. Our first project was a remodel and the second a new home. We were able to sell the first project in 24 hours and the second in 2 days! Compliments were non-stop at the open house's. I hired Van Wicklen Design for my new home construction. Loved her design. She picked out all of my flooring in Austin Texas while I lived in Idaho Falls Idaho. I am so pleased with all of the choices, they look fabulous in the house. The house was in the home show this last week and everyone loved it. She helped with many questions as the building process progressed. Her advice was invaluable.

JVW Design has been a wonderful design company to work with! They give you a large amount of one on one attention and pay close attention to both your needs and desire.
