I have had the great pleasure of knowing Jeannine Kern personally for many years and have seen the great care and attention to detail with which she approaches every design project she takes on. I have worked with Jeannine Kern owner of J Kern Design on several occasions and have found her to be delightful to work with. She was very organized and when she came in to our showroom she already had a clear vision of what she wanted for her client. Jeannine is definitely not pushy which the client seemed to really appreciate, she was helpful without being overbearing. A couple of times the customer was not sure about which fabric and how it should be applied Jeannine made a few suggestions and the problem was solved. J Kern Design was instrumental in designing three store locations for my business. We sat down and discussed theme, colors, budget, and what I wanted our customers to experience when they walked into my business. Jeannine was patient with my concerns. She got right to work, offering sketches to scale, right down to covering odd cosmetic flaws in each building. In my case, I needed to design on a dime, and every square inch had to count for product display. She took great care in helping me find affordable furniture pieces, was very honest about what would and wouldn't work, and was flexible with my demands. She continued to assist in seasonal decorating for my business. The responses from our customers confirmed what I knew. Jeannine delivered the cozy, inviting charm I wanted for my customers. Jeannine is an extremely focused decorator and works diligently to "get it just right" in order to please her clients. I have worked with Jeannine on many projects, and they have all been completed to the delight of our clients. Jeannine has a very good eye for using multiple fabrics/patterns/textures/trims to accomplish an excellent end result.

I have used J Kern Design for many decorating projects. She always tries to get me to form a clear picture for her of how I envision the space to be used and how it will look. I wanted to update my kitchen with more granite and tile work and to also turn a sunroom, which was attached to our master bedroom, into a closet. interviewed several construction companies, but was most impressed with the work done by J Kern Design as well as the very personal touch from the owner, Jeannine Kerns. I explained to her what I had envisioned but was not sure if it would work. Jeannine made some suggestions, drew up a plan and I could not wait for the work to begin. She gave me a time frame and stuck with it. She organized everything from material purchases to managing the subcontractors. Highly organized, excellent communication every step of the way, and we could not be more pleased with our closet and kitchen.
