Working with Jamie on my showroom project means you are in the hands of a consummate professional. She is very diligent and professional with an extreme focus on the details that matter the most. I have zero hesitation giving her a well earned 5 star review and would recommend her highly.

We were referred to JK Interiors after moving across the country from Halifax, NS to West Kelowna, BC. Our initial meeting with Jan told us 3 things: she was a subject matter expert; she took the time to get to know us personally; and was keenly interested in helping us create our retirement "dream" home. What we appreciated about Jan was her willingness to work within our budget; and her ability to gently "persuade" us in different directions when that was necessary. (An art unto itself). Jan also encouraged us to disagree with any of her recommendations, as that helped her get to know us even better. When Jan signed on to help us, she was "all in." She got to work immediately sourcing furniture and items for us to consider. She really made us feel like we were a priority. She moved quickly and created a lot of "efficiency" for us. We also appreciated that when Jan said she was going to deliver; she did. Decorating a newly-built home is an evolution, and the process unfolded quickly (thanks to Jan) thereby allowing us to get "settled" faster. Not only did she help us with our home, she helped introduce us around within our new neighbourhood, and personally went out of her way to make us feel welcome and included. We're thrilled with how everything turned out. We have received many compliments on our home. We highly recommend JK Interiors, and remain grateful for everything Jan (and Rob) did for us.

We hired the team at The Design Studio when we moved into our new home. We had a number of cosmetic items completed to update and freshen up the space. Jan, Rob and Stephanie were great to deal with. Friendly and professional with input we appreciated. I ended up recommending them to my mom when we wanted to redo her bathroom.

Why spend time driving all over the City to the "big box stores" for your renovation projects when Jan has the expertise to put together a perfect palate of colours (which she did for my kitchen renovation - with flooring, backsplash, countertop and sink). No job is too small and all of the details are looked after by Rob. The contractors they used for demolition did not leave a speck of anything - anywhere - on the common areas of my condo building - which is a first in the 10 years I have been living there. I have not hesitated to recommend The Design Studio Inc. to family and friends.

Floors with Flair has worked on many projects with Jan, Steph & Rob. They are all very creative, hands on and accommodating to their clients. Jan, Rob and Steph are professionals! We have used them for design advice, wall paper selection/application, as well as furniture purchases. They have done a great job of hearing what we want and matching that up with the budget we had in mind. They are thoughtful (and efficient) and are always helpful and a joy to work with.
