Joy has photographed several of our projects and we are always very pleased with the images. She listens to us but also provides suggestions to capture the best view of the spaces we've designed. Love working with Joy to capture images of my interior design work! I've done many shoots with Joy, and we always have fun together while getting the work done. She keeps things breezy, light, and stress-free. Joy made miracles happen when we had a shoot scheduled for "the day the sky turned orange" - she worked hard to set up all kinds of equipment on a steep hillside outside the home to filter out the orange and capture clean, color-balanced photos of my space! Joy is great at what she does, and she's a wonderful person to boot.

I'm an interior designer in Connecticut, but had an interior design job in California. I used Houzz to find a pro photographer in that area and found Joy. What made me hire her were 2 things: she was affordable, and she's also a stylist! this was huge for me as I was unable to be at the photoshoot, and was excited that she would be able to help with the styling. Joy knocked it out of the park. She was professional on the day of, and was in constant contact with me, sending me her final images for my approval before moving on. She helped me so much with styling both before the photoshoot (we planned together what types of things to buy, she offered what she could bring) and the day of she did all the styling! It was amazing and a huge help. The photos, which I received in a week or so, are gorgeous.

I've used Joy Coakley's services to photograph many of my projects posted on Houzz and my website. She's dependable and easy to work with. She has a great eye and sensibility. She's responsive and her turn around time is good..usually getting your shots in a week or so. She's a stylist as well so she knows how to fold a throw or bath towels like a super hero! : ) I already her scheduled for have a few new projects!
