Ken is a visionary in the field of architecture. He and his staff are incredibly hard working and always accommodating. Not only are Ken's designs cutting edge, but his state of the art simulations and virtual reality allow a client to see and feel the finished product even before breaking ground. I have worked with Ken on a number of projects and would recommend him without any hesitation.

Ken and his team have been fantastic to work. In addition to designing a mountain home specific to our desires, they continue to be actively engaged throughout the construction process to ensure that the home is everything we planned/hoped it would be. Working remotely with them has been easy and their use of virtual technology allowed us to really "see" the design without having to interpret technical drawings. Tanya has provided great support service in helping select interior materials, cabinets, furniture, etc. Overall, they have made what could have been a difficult process very seamless and enjoyable. We would definitely work with them again!

Our project entailed a complete remodel of a 30 year old home bordering a river on a uniquely shaped lot that created significant design challenges. We added space and altered virtually every surface inside and out. This was a huge project for us and something my wife and I had never done before. From the first meeting with Ken Adler and his team at KA DesignWorks we knew we had the right people to help us. Ken is passionate, smart, creative, and a great communicator. Additionally, he works seamlessly with all other parties on the project, not the least of which was the builder. As expected, challenges came up during the course of the project, many of which we found out about after the fact because Ken and his team had already sorted out the problem together with the builder or other subcontractor. We are thrilled with the design of the remodel and even more so with the finished product. Ken was able to take our ideas and incorporate them into a comprehensive whole. Sometimes he took the idea directly, other times he came up with a better idea and was able to explain why he went in a different direction. He was also able to help us think through certain design issues and educate us on our choices along with the pros and cons of the different approaches. Communication with the KA team was always fast, accurate, and courteous. We were on a very fast track schedule which required cooperation from all parties, including us the homeowner, and there was never a delay on any aspect despite the need in some cases for rapid communication and decision making. Ken was also very clear to communicate with us if there were cost implications to something we were considering changing. I appreciated his approach on this aspect of the project because I never had to worry that I would be surprised on cost after irreversible decisions had been made. In conclusion, the experience with KA DesignWorks was incredible and we would not even consider working with another firm if we were to do something like this again in the future.

Ken Adler, the owner of KA Design Works, and his staff are extremely creative, knowledgeable and hard-working. Ken and his team make use of the latest “Building Information Modeling” and architectural design software making the creative process come to life. They are extremely knowledgeable in Land Use and Building Codes, which makes the building permit process predictable and easy. I enjoy working with Ken and his staff very much. We like having him on our team whenever possible.
