Kathleen was phenomenal to work with. She helped our vision come to life in our baby’s nursery. She was very involved and hands on from the very beginning. We will be working with her on any future projects and highly recommend her anyone looking for a very hands on designer!

We hired Kathleen to help design a master suite and to help us choose new siding, stone and colors on the exterior of our home. We couldn’t be happier. Kathleen was very patient until we found just the right plan and exterior look. Her computer program allowed her to bring everything to life with full color so we knew exactly what we were getting. We felt Kathleen’s prices were very fair. Her goal was for us to be happy. I highly recommend Kathleen.

While building a new home, I wanted to know what some of the new trends were. It was suggested by some of my friends to check the Houzz Web site. Although I am very creative, I felt I could use some help with some of the decisions I was about to make. The Houzz Web site is where I came across the name Kathleen Townsend, Interior Design, LLC. After reading the reviews, being impressed and curious, I contacted Kathleen, engaging her expertise. Not only did our personalities match, but so did our design ideas. Many of the accessories and furniture that I loved in the older home took on a new look in the newer home. Kathleen's ideas helped move cherished memories into the new home. Her expertise and contacts were endless in finding new accessories, drapery and upholstery fabrics, etc. , I would never have found on my own. I would certainly use Kathleen's services again and recommend her to anyone seeking Interior Design help.

Kathleen has been superb in our project planning. She is attentive, prompt, creative and has the experience to walk into the design stores and get help which leads to results. We are currently working on a kitchen project with her and could NEVER have created what is sure to be our dream kitchen without her help.

Working with Kathleen on our new build project was a lovely experience!! She listened carefully to what we envisioned for our new home and guided us patiently through the overwhelming number of selection decisions. We never felt forced toward her design ideas. Kathleen was sensitive to budget and offered less expensive options to accomplish the same look with good quality, while educating us on what it was important to spend on. Kathleen has been a major asset during multiple home renovation projects over the last 2 years. She is thoughtful in her suggestions and recommendations and truly wants to hone in on her client’s specific taste and needed. After a major basement project, family room remodel, outdoor deck/patio build and master bath overhaul I can’t imagine tackling a project without her!! She also knows great people in all trades which adds to her ability to help coordinate and apply her recommendations!! Can’t say enough good things, I highly recommend her!!

Kathleen is the best! She helped us remodel our kitchen/dining room and master bathrooms. She is timely, friendly, resourceful, and budget conscious. She asked us questions to understand our likes/dislikes and lifestyle and presented designed to accommodate. We are extremely happy with our newly remodeled rooms! We purchased an older home with the thought to renovate it. While we had various ideas we were at a loss on how to make it all come together. The main room of our house was gray, dull, and depressing. I didn't know where to start. Luckily we found ad hired Kathleen to help us out. She listened to our wishes, thoughts, and budget and came up with a plan. She had great insight on how to keep and highlight the more beautiful existing components of our home with her design choices. Our main living area is bright, lively, and suits our style. We are so happy with how it all turned out.

Kathleen listened to my ideas and helped pull them all together. She found good and reliable contractors for us. She made an effort to get to know us and help find choices of materials and style that matched our personalities and vision for our home. This was a big project that I could get overwhelmed by and Kathleen was very good at helping me keep a good perspective.

From the first visit to my home, Kathy Townsend was a professional who was very easy to work with and always down to earth. Since I wasn't certain what I wanted in a living, dining, and bedroom update she helped me identify colors and a style that I was looking for. I was overwhelmed by all the color pallets and design catalogs but she quickly discovered my tastes and preferences and narrowed down options for me. She was considerate of price constraints but always presented options that were of high quality. She utilized furnishings and accessories that were important to us and made sure these items were incorporated into her design ideas. She recommended and employed top-notch installers, painters, and upholsters. I am so pleased with our home and the changes that have been made. I could not have done it without Kathy’s help and wonderful design capabilities! Highly recommend!

Kathleen is very professional and caring. She helped two years ago with my out-dated family room. She understood I did not want to spend a lot of money so I was well pleased. She just completed my living room, dining room, kitchen, helping me pick colors and draperies. Highly recommend her. Always on time for appointments which we can all appreciate.

We hired Kathleen to do a remodel for our master bedroom and bath. She worked with our contractor as the bathroom was a total remodel from floor to ceiling. She met with our contractor and tile man and worked out all the details. She gave us many different styles to pick from and always came up with a solution if we could not agree on an item. We could always count on Kathleen being on time and meeting any deadline with the project. We highly recommend Kathleen as a wonderful interior designer. When future projects come up we will use her again.
