New "Scaled Down" Home

It was time for the family to scale down their home size. Moving from the city to the countryside this new build was intended to be inviting, warm and restful. It was to provide spaces with a soft color palette and a home to treasures from the past as well as desired new furnishings. Its countryside location is a quiet delight.

Soft Color Palette wraps the Kitchen Dining Area for clients who wanted to scale down their home size. Open shelving displays some family treasures. Door opens into a Pantry.

In the Kitchen a light gray six sided glass tile covers the sink wall and a decorative blue/white tile adorns the stove wall. Beautiful cabinetry with an Island that provides seating and storage. Black windows frame beautiful landscaping. Open shelving provides family treasures.

In this room we have a soft tan wall color with a soft blue patterned wallpaper on a feature wall. A small square pattern in the Sisal rug provides a welcoming look.

The family holds dear treasures from the past and has preserved family quilts through the years. The large oversized mirror fits perfectly on the shorter east wall of a nice sized walk-in closet, which is enter from the master bath. The 3 drawer night stand provides a night light from it base.

The Master bath hosts these beautiful white shaker cabinets. The drawers have glass pulls and the doors have long Chrome pulls. A soft fabric roman shade can provide privacy as desired.
