We worked with Kevin and Brenda to explore modifying our kitchen. It was a galley kitchen with a prior addition that resulted in several small spaces. My wife and I presented our ideas and desires and Kevin and Brenda were able to help us see a more complete vision for our space. They listened well to our desires and were able to present a vision for the finished product with room layout and cabinet design/orientation. Throughout a couple of meetings, Kevin and Brenda collaborated well in offering feedback and ideas while still allowing us to take a very active position in the design process. Given the age of the house and prior additions, Kevin was able to warn us of a couple of spots that may be complicated and was very proactive with our contractor when we opened up the house and could see the whole picture. Throughout the whole process, including design, contractor selection, quotes, permitting, and renovation, Kevin and Brenda checked in with us. Kevin and Brenda did a great job helping us with our remodel of two bathrooms. We switched from a tub to a beautiful shower in our master bath which necessitated reconfiguring the layout of both bathrooms. Kevin skillfully laid out the plans for our contractor. Brenda was very helpful in assisting us in selecting from a mind-boggling number of choices for the tile, fixtures, counters, cabinets, and hardware. She was sensitive to our likes/dislikes and our budget. Because of our experience, we have recommended their services to friends and family and will continue to do so.

They were able to envision and produce architectural details that enhanced not only the curb appeal on the exterior but a total transformation of our entire first floor to include a beautiful stat-of-the-art kitchen. We told Kevin and Brenda what we were hoping to do with our old back porch, deck and spaces underneath. They listened to what we had to say and not only designed and built what we had asked for, but made it so much better than we ever imagined it could be. The entire project was completed on time and on budget. They had so many wonderful suggestions to enhance what we wanted to do and were a huge help throughout every step of the process. This included converting and evolving our design ideas, selecting materials of construction, maximizing functionality all the way through to helping with color schemes, all the while, keeping options and costs at the forefront. For example, working closely with the installer in correcting some previous yard erosion issues we were having and some very unusual design criteria. Brenda and Kevin helped us design our own version of the barn doors. We came up with an idea and a concept, and the Lueck's took it from there. The barn doors were custom made and they look fantastic. KB Lueck took our idea and made it function right, and have it match the look of the room.

We worked with Kevin and Brenda from the "our deck needs replacing" idea to the ultimate vision of a three-phase home make-over, starting with an ambitious back yard project. Guiding us through key decisions, they ensured we understood each step, helped us choose the things we cared about - materials, finishes, "extras", etc. while handling the hundreds of details that didn't require our attention. They also ensured they brought in the highest quality craftsmen and workmen to complete the project. I was amazed at the perfectionist approach to the smallest details of the deck such as re-doing the placement of the support piers so as not to disturb the roots of our beautiful oak tree. Other appreciated touches included Kevin personally stepping in to hand lay the patio stones when he was not satisfied with the progress. Perhaps the ultimate demonstration of our confidence and satisfaction with KB Lueck is that we now have them working on Phase II!

Our outdoor project involved rebuilding a concrete / commercial grade retaining wall, while maintaining the integrity of our existing in-ground pool. We also had to rebuild/refooting the extensive slate patio around the pool and behind the wall. The project was incredibly involved and required the input and contribution of a number of professionals including an engineer, pool contractor, mason, electrician, plumber and landscaper / general contractor. Kevin and Brenda managed the project from design to completion. They provided detailed drawings, site plans and worked tirelessly to produce an incredible finished product. They navigated the unforeseen challenges and presented us with solutions. We trusted their judgment and insights at each step as we know they operate with the upmost integrity and diligence. Hired KB to rebuild our master bathroom. They helped with the initial design and made helpful suggestions. The work was top notch, on time and on budget even after finding some surprises behind the walls and floor. Post project, they were very quick to respond to any follow up issues. Highly recommended.

Kevin and Brenda were the perfect fit for our project needs. Our home has been in the family for 50 years, and the front steps and walkway were in need of repair and/or replacing. With very little design experience of our own, and knowing we would need professional assistance, we enlisted KB Lueck to get us started. We hired Brenda and Kevin because we knew them personally to be very capable, professional and customer focused. I also appreciated Kevin's background as a carpenter and builder who can translate design concepts to scale plans that my builder could seamlessly apply to the actual build! Brenda worked with my wife on all the spaces - and we had to fit a whole house in 700 sqft - that ended up working out amazing! She listened and offered timely suggestions to keep the project moving along. A great team. We could not have done this without them!

We hired KB Lueck to handle the renovation on a major investment flip project. This was a daunting task as the home had been occupied by over a dozen cats and had no standard maintenance performed in the last several years. Over the timeframe of two months, they took a gutted home and transformed it into a beautiful masterpiece, completed with brand new bathrooms and kitchen. I was extremely impressed with the quality, especially the hardwood treads on the stairs, which set the tone for the future homebuyers as the walked in the front door of the split foyer and saw the amazing handiwork that normally would be reserved for a million dollar home. The home went up for sale during the worst time of year to sell and was under contract in 9 days, which is an amazing feat, especially considering that no other home in the area has gone under contract in the last 5 months. I attribute the masterful handiwork as a leading factor for the quick sale.

We contacted KB Lueck to help us plan and design a basement renovation to provide a living space for Tom's dad that would be comfortable and private. Our original idea was to turn our storage room into a bedroom, but they explained the room had no egress and would not be safe. Kevin and Brenda proposed a plan that incorporated a Murphy bed in the living area and pocket doors for privacy. We loved it! In addition, they gave us a plan to redesign our storage room for more efficient use that allowed us to provide a play area for our grandchildren, a real bonus we were not expecting. After the plan was developed, they helped us sort through what we could do ourselves and what needed to be contracted. Then they managed the project to completion. The quality of the workmanship for the entire project was outstanding and they stayed within our budget. We would definitely use KB Lueck again and highly recommend them without reservation.

KB Lueck did a great job. All the workers were polite, and left the job site clean at the end of each day. The quality of work was excellent. There was a small hiccup with the order of the windows, but this was not due to anything in KB Lueck's control and he did everything in his power to correct it quickly. The process overall was easy and painless, I couldn't ask for anything more from a contractor.

We wanted to create transform our living space on the main floor into an open-concept room. KBLueck met with us and listened to our ideas. They created plans for the renovation and they managed the project for us. We wanted to take down 2 walls, move a bathroom, refinish wood floors, and add lighting. We also considered getting new kitchen cabinets and french doors. Kevin and Brenda helped us understand what needed to be accomplished in order to achieve our goals. They also worked with us to determine different phases of the project in order of priority. This helped us to stay as close to budget as possible. Brenda and Kevin listened to our ideas about color and style and narrowed our choices for us - choices about paint color, tile, wood floors - making it easier for us to make decisions. They also helped us decided where to place furniture, highlighting some of the pieces of furniture that before were easily overlooked. When we decided to wait for the kitchen renovations, Brenda recommended using Chalk Paint to give the cabinets a new look. She also recommended using a provide that creates a faux granite look for the counters. The transformation in our home is beautiful, functional, and just what we wanted. Kevin and Brenda, with their insight, experience, and knowledge, were wonderful to work with.

Brenda came armed with a dizzying array of paint swatches, which she quickly narrowed down to a manageable set of recommendations after looking at our space, furniture and lighting. He helped me to see the house not as one huge unreachable project but as several smaller projects that were each attainable.
