Carrol was one of the best parts about our remodel. Always answering emails and questions, always helpful, and full of good ideas. She was there from the design to build, to fixing the few issues we had after. Carrol was able to design our kitchen, two bathrooms of custom cabinetry, and a bunch of built in shelving for the living room. I would recommend her to anyone.

It was such a pleasure to work with Carol! She redesigned my whole kitchen on a very short timeline and I could not be more pleased. Working with a professional for kitchen design is a complete game changer. There is a place for everything and she walked me through things I hadn't even considered. I have sent a few friends to her already so they can enjoy their new kitchens as much as I do. I cannot say enough about her!

It was a joy to work with Carol for our kitchen remodel. To start off with, she has such a sweet and pleasant personality. I always looked forward to visiting her shop. Carol takes her job very seriously, and creates a kitchen that is beautiful, suits the home owner, and makes the best use of all possible space. I was very impressed with how thoughtfully Carol considered our kitchen space. It was a very old fashioned kitchen with some extremely awkward angles. She turned it into a large family hub and somehow almost entirely eliminated all of the awkwardness - using a ton of creativity, she created a large beautiful space and even managed to squeeze in an extra broom closet! Carol will ask you how you use your kitchen - do you have a large lunch prep area for lots of kids to prepare for school? Do you cook a lot? Store lots of entertaining dishes? Then she will make every single thing somehow have a perfect spot. I could not have asked for a better kitchen design. Lastly, Carol took extra time to design a number of other areas around our home. She designed a bar area, a kids wetbar area, a playroom, as well as our bathrooms. All are equally gorgeous!! Thanks, Carol!

We worked with Carol and Ross on a significant kitchen remodel, and they were a pleasure throughout the process. Carol was very thoughtful in helping to ensure that our kitchen design was going to meet our needs, and she also anticipated some features that we didn't even know that we wanted. KB Cabinets worked with our contractor and made sure that the cabinets were onsite when needed. We've been very happy with the quality of the cabinets and also ordered bathroom vanities from them. We're currently working with KB Cabinets on a smaller project since we had such a good experience the first time around!

My friend hired Carol to do her kitchen cabinets several years ago and recommended her to me. I like to work with Carol a lot because she is very detail oriented. She came to my house several times to find out how I use my kitchen and made recommendations on the drawers and pullouts, etc. She also listened carefully what I needed and made the new cabinets function perfectly. My contractor told me that the cabinets were well designed at almost every perspective and they were easy to install too. When there was a little glitch, she managed to work it out quickly and made us happy. I highly recommend her if anyone needs new cabinets.

We purchased cabinets for a whole home renovation (kitchen, 4.5 baths, and a laundry room) from Carol and Ross at KB Cabinets. We had a great experience and are thoroughly enjoying our new home. We shopped at another contractor-recommended cabinet provider, but chose to work with Carol because she added value to the project through her experience as a certified kitchen designer. This involved making suggestions to the kitchen layout slightly different from what the architect had designed, but in the end were spot-on recommendations. These included how much room to leave between the island and the wall and other similar feathers. I liked her thoughts on layouts for function and visualization from an artistic perspective. The quality of the cabinets is terrific. Equally importantly, Carol and Ross worked well with us and with our contractor to resolve issues that arose during construction. We couldn't be happier and we highly recommend this business!

Carol was wonderful. She planned out our kitchen masterfully. Carol had a lot of wonderful suggestions of items to incorporate as well as where to place dishware/cutlery (in terms of making the kitchen flow). The cabinets are very high quality and we receive compliments often. Carol also assisted with other design elements, free of charge. She has a keen eye!! I’d recommend her and KB cabinets to any and everyone!!

We love our remodeled kitchen! We are blessed that we were able to do this project and for the team that performed the work. Our remodel included a small nearby laundry room. Our kitchen was completely transformed from a small 70’s style peninsula with 4” square brown counter tiles and inefficient circulation to a completely reorganized and updated light and airy state-of-the-art kitchen with an island and a second matching working peninsula. Circulation was much improved by relocating two doorway openings and opening up the kitchen to the adjacent dining room. A pair of French Doors now open up directly from the kitchen to a large outdoor deck. Carol Swanson-Petterson (KB Cabinets) was instrumental in designing the kitchen, as well as laying out and designing the cabinets. She was extremely helpful in coordinating all aspects of the kitchen to establish and maintain its integrity throughout the design and construction process. She is a sensitive, thoughtful designer and a very valuable member of the team.

I wanted to use a local business for our kitchen remodel so I stopped by the KB Cabinets showroom first. After meeting Carol and Ross to discuss the project I looked no further. I had an idea of what we wanted but Carol's design offered excellent suggestions to get the most from our small kitchen. I used a local contractor Carol had worked with before and the whole project went flawlessly. Carol was very professional, friendly and prompt. The cabinets are beautiful and we could not be happier with our new kitchen 18 months later. I would definitely recommend Carol and Ross and KB Cabinets.

I found Carol at KB Cabinets after a friend referred me to her. She was the 5th cabinet designer I met with. From the beginning it was a positive experience. She really took the time to get to know what we wanted design wise, but she also took the time to understand how we would function in the space she was designing (she designed the cabinetry for our kitchen/great room, dining room, and master bath). So simple, yet so brilliant. The end product was a fantastic design that met our lifestyle needs. Over a year after getting our cabinets installed and living with them, there is very little I would change.
