I can't say enough great things about Kitchens Alive! Obviously remodeling your main floor is a stressful experience, but John and his team made it so easy. They show up on-time every day, were polite and kind to my kids, cleaned the space every night before they left and even finished weeks ahead of schedule. The total came in exactly what they quoted, which in my experience rarely happens. The quality of the cabinetry is incredible. John was also on site for morning meetings and checked all of the work that was completed to ensure it was to his very high standard. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.

Excellent service! We had a quote within a week. The estimated install date was within 3 months from when we ordered cabinets which was impressive considering it was in the middle of COVID. Mark who installed our cabinets was meticulous and his workmanship was perfection.

My wife are very pleased with the quality of the planning and work done to renovate our kitchen and flooring throughout the first floor of our house. The worker was done in as timely manner as possible considering supply chain issues and COVID-19. The office staff was very supportive of our needs in the design phase and were helpful with advice and constructive criticism when our ideas went a bit too far. The construction workers were polite and and kept the construction mess to a minimum by cleaning up at the end of the day. The project was completed within the bounds of the proposed cost estimate and there were no cost overruns. We highly recommend Kitchen’s Alive for providing a comprehensive planning and construction team that results in a finished product to be proud of.

Kitchens Alive did an amazing job on our new kitchen. From the time we decided to see their products, they took the time to explain everything and every option to us. Because we renovated our kitchen during COVID we met virtually many times to see the options we had. Amanda was our designer and she has a great eye with design, colours and style. We removed 2 walls and it was hard to imagine what it would look like. Amanda gave us different options and was very patient with our questions. We want to thank John, Amanda and Mark (who installed our cabinet.) who did a great job. We are so happy we went with Kitchen’s Alive and would highly recommend them.

We are very happy with Kitchens Alive when we did our kitchen reno this past Oct. 2020. It turned out beautiful. It is much more functional then our 30 year old kitchen we had. it is better then we expected. They are very professional in all areas from design to advise. they were great to work with. they made it less stressful going down to their store to pick out all the materials colours etc. one stop shopping which was great. they helped take the stress away especially not having a kitchen for 2 months is stressful I think for anyone doing a kitchen reno. We will recommend them to anyone we know doing a kitchen reno or bathroom reno. there work is high end and the quality of of kitchen counters island cabinets. we now have a huge island which we never had before and we spend a lot time there now. They also gave us much more room and easier access form my mom who has a walker. easier for her to get around. we just love it want to show it off but cant yet re co vid. but we will soon. The Kitchens Alive Inc. team are THE best. From the initial contact, to the consultations, the recommendation, the follow up and most importantly the finished product. John and his team are top knotch, professional and extremely good at what they do. When our subcontractor for the prep work backed out on us, John helped to coordinate his team and others to keep us on track. The team became part of our household over the couple of months they were there. They were personable, yet professional and maintained strict protocols during the first wave of COVID-19. The finished product is beyond our expectations, our house is old and was in desperate need of a face lift. The ENTIRE Kitchens Alive team were amazing. My husband and I had a vision of what we wanted our kitchen Reno to look like. After having a few bad experiences in the past, we took our time deciding who to work with for our kitchen, mud room, powder room and front foyer renovation. John and his staff at Kitchen's Alive renewed our faith in home renovation as they delivered on every promise they made. We hired KA to open up a 1930s era home with a brand new kitchen and upgraded bathroom. We can't say enough how happy we are with the outcome. 5-6 months planning. 3 weeks demo. 5 weeks construction and a few weeks for touch-ups. Somehow the process seemed to breeze by. We stayed away for the demo, but lived in the house for the rest. The end product speaks to their attention to detail and pride in their work throughout the process, from design to construction. Working with KA's owners, design team, and building crew felt like working with friends and family. Great people, and great work.

We are very pleased with our cabinets from Kitchens Alive. They were great during the planning process where we decided what cabinets we were thinking of. The renderings of the design were very helpful when determining what finishes we wanted and the installation was excellent.

We had 5 different estimates for our cabinets and reno. The cost of the actual cabinets were almost the same between the 5 companies. Quality was a different story. The quality of the product and workmanship from Kitchen's Alive was excellent. None of the other companies was able to do the complete reno from demolition to finish or anything in between. Kitchen's Alive have trades people that they work with and coordinate all aspects of the reno without us having to become involved. Every person involved in our reno was an accomplished trades person and designer. All were very respectful of our home. Any concerns were dealt with immediately. We feel we have a superior renovation that we are very happy with and has added value to our home.

We choose Kitchens Alive over the other companies we had quotes from. John and Amanda were awesome in their delivery of the design and quote for the job. Amanda guided us through the process of picking the correct cupboard colors, counter tops, etc. All to match our floor and paint. They came up with a design that used all the space we had available since we had decided to remove a wall and open up the space. They took calls and emails from us when we had questions and never hesitated to give us their professional opinions. Their installer was fantastic and the whole job was great. We would recommend them to anyone who is asking which company to go with. Very, very happy and impressed with the work and customer service.

After researching three different kitchen renovators in London we decided to go with Kitchens Alive. They were truly amazing. A tremendous focus on detail in all the work they did. Extremely professional throughout the entire work, which they performed right on schedule. Very competitive price wise. They have a terrific work group which offers complete design, which they can show you three dimensionally on a large projection screen to present how your renovation will look like when complete including colours etc. We have no hesitation in recommending Kitchens Alive to anybody that is considering this in the future.

The work done by Kitchens Alive was exceptional, the entire team was helpful, timely and receptive to my multiple questions and further refinements. John certainly knows structure and knowing that made us feel confident in his advice. The design team was great, very helpful to someone like me who is not sure how to fit everything together. The installers were efficient, tidy and polite. Even after install, they followed up to make sure we were happy.

When contemplating a kitchen renovation, a number of concerns flash through one’s mind. •How much will it cost – will it come in on budget? •How would we create the correct design to be both beautiful and functional? •How would we coordinate the various trades who will be involved? •Will it start and finish on time? •What will be the disruption to our lives? We have all heard the horror stories. We invited the owners Kitchens Alive, John Kember, to our home for ideas. We had visited other cabinet companies. Kitchens Alive was recommended by another contractor who did our floors in the past and with whom we were very pleased. (We found that this is a great way to ensure quality.) John came in and asked questions. One question was our planned budget. We came in low and he told us not to bother. At that price, the kitchen would not stand up over time. We asked what he would do. He quickly laid out a plan which involved a redesign of the layout and which was both beautiful and functional. He laid out ideas we frankly would not have thought about. He was back to us with a quote and several options. We were onside with the proposed cost and then followed several meetings with their amazing design staff. We were thrilled with the final proposal and timing and moved forward. The kitchen is done and we love it. Comments •The final product was as originally designed. •Kitchens Alive coordinated all the trades and their timing. Their employees did the kitchen instal. They brought in an electrical company with whom they do a lot of work and who were excellent. They quoted and billed us directly. We used our own flooring contractor who coordinated well with Kitchens Alive. •The project started on time and was finished as promised. •We came in on budget with no surprises. Everyone with whom we worked was great, responsive and professional; •Mr. Kember was often on site and occasionally rolled up his sleeves and did the work. This allowed him to stay on top of the job and on schedule. His positive and collaborative management style is visible through all of his employees. In summary, it was not all roses but that comes with the territory. We think it went as well as it could have and fully recommend Kitchens Alive. Oh, and they have stayed in touch to ensure we are happy, being very responsive. (P.S. This is an extensive review and it may look contrived. Nope, just a pleased customer.)

Two years ago I was having a major renovation done to the entire first floor of my home. I was having difficulty with general contractors, so I then enlisted Kitchens Alive to take care of re-doing the entire kitchen - all cabinets, counter-tops, faucets, etc. The staff were helpful, friendly, patient, and the work was timely. But here's the thing: my house is over 100 years old, made mostly of wood, and crooked, but the crew got the cabinets dead right. John came in personally to install the crown moulding. Now here I am, years later, and I still am as happy as can be. Even with natural shifting of the house, and the wear and tear of general use, my kitchen looks fabulous. I still get compliments. The people behind this name are pros, they are conscientious, and I highly recommend them.

Kitchens Alive provided us with a beautiful kitchen design. We went with white cabinets on the periphery, a grey island with white speckled quartz countertops and brushed brass finishes. Kitchen Alive worked with us to create custom bathroom cabinets for our ensuite bathroom. They were professional, helpful and reliable as we dealt with them. They created a computer program so we could see the bathroom as we design the cabinets. They listened to our ideas, and adapted the design to accommodate our wishes. The cabinets were delivered on time, professionally and there was a follow-up phone call to ensure our satisfaction with the cabinets. This was not an easy job since they produced 2 different cabinets for the bathroom. I would highly recommend this company because of the pleasant manner and professional attitude throughout the process.

We had purchased a condo with a dated kitchen and were looking for a complete redesign. My main request was to have an island that would be large for entertaining and yet functional within the kitchen itself. I had my own ideas of what I wanted regarding design and layout. After visiting with three different designers, Amanda from Kitchens Alive was the only one who actually listened to my ideas, provided a design layout reflecting those wishes, but more so, offered another option that I had not considered. This ultimately was the design we went with. Working with Kitchens Alive throughout the entire process was done with such grace and professionalism. As you work through any renovation there are always adjustments along the way. These were met with an openness and adherence that I could not have imagined. Delivery and installation (expertly done) were completed exactly when stated. The facts - as I see them: - this company is not involved in the contracting portion of the job. ie.-drywall,electrical,plumbing... they were very helpful in making recommendations for these trades people -the owner(John)is very knowledgeable and helpful -the planning and design stage was awesome. -the 3D computer illustrations were extremely helpful the designer(Becky) has a real eye for both design and function - the quality of the products ( cabinets and hardware ) are first rate - the installer (Mike) is truly a master of his trade. The cabinets were installed perfectly despite the wonky walls that come with an older home The entire team worked well together making a stressful process very enjoyable. I would highly recommend Kitchen's Alive!

John Kember and Becky Harding at Kitchens Alive are genuine professionals who deliver an incredible product with supreme service. We had been trying to make a decision for 3 years about our kitchen re-do.We were planning to do this only once so wanted to check out all our options. Many quotes and designs later, we were almost ready to let this rest for awhile nothing seemed to click. Then someone else we knew was in the middle of their kitchen renovation and told us about Kitchens Alive. From the beginning they helped us through from the design & through the steps involved (no one else had helped to break down the process as simply as John and Becky) we were sold! Within 1 - 3 months we had our new kitchen cupboards. We were exstatic, they made my little matchbox of a kitchen into a petite JEWEL BOX! Mike who installed the cabinets and the crown moulding was a very friendly, meticulous worker, very skilled, & pride of his workmanship showed. Two days in and the cabinets were complete. There were a few minor details during the process and John was to our home within 15 minutes to help out.
