I think of myself as a general contractor with a flair for design. My name is Karen Wright. My business, Wright Interiors, was born from my passion to turn ordinary spaces into pleasant, highly functional environments for my clients. Always hands on, my ideas start with lots of listening. Much of my time is spent in the design phase, and all the organizing and shopping that goes with it. If we can’t find the materials that work, I’ll make them—from custom window coverings to bedding. My hands-on approach extends right to the end of every job. Inspired by my father, a contractor himself, I have perfected each step in the design/build remodeling process. As your general contractor, I bring together skilled subcontractors—such as carpenters, tile setters and painters—as well as all the right materials. I even provide the “behind the walls” expertise that baffles most of us, from plumbing to electrical. Start to finish, I simply love working with my clients as we figure out ways to transform a space.
