kurt hammond did a great job on our pool i highly recomend his company hes very loving and he cares.

Kurt is one of the worst communicators I have ever hired. We spent more than $100k on our backyard pool project and we would NEVER recommend Hammond Pools. Everything they did was below our expectations and I actually had to hire someone else to show me how to run my pool after completion because Kurt never even showed up for that. Take your hard earned money to another company to build your pool, because you will be disappointed with Kurt Hammond.

I would recommend to stay away from this company. In 2018 we reserved a pool for 2019 and were promised to be the first in line to get the pool in. When he was not able to do the job all summer long, we required our deposit of 10k back. He refused to do that. Instead, he just dropped off the kit we had purchased on top of the deposit in our front yard one day. It included stairs that were totally scratched and didn't look at all like in the pictures we had discussed beforehand. Of course the money we never saw again.

Kurt and his crew did an good job executing our vision, but his communication skills is horrible. Things were never done on time & constant followup had to be done in order to get the job complete. His services of opening and closing the pool, were never done on time, not fully completed and things were left broken (jet) and wasn’t told to us and left in its place during the winter, when it should have been removed.

Hammond Pools is a family-run business and their care and love for creating beautiful backyards is clear. Pros - beautiful work - they are experts and have been doing this for decades - they do landscaping as well as pool construction - very flexible in doing what home owners request - great pool engineering (they pour the pool then go an extra step and smooth-coat another layer of concrete over it to fill cracks and make sure the bottom is smooth. This is something some other companies don't do) - timelines are generally accurate - workers are friendly and hard-working - they work well with other trades involved (ie gas, electric) - if an issue arises, they will take care of it promptly - Kurt genuinely cares about families and creating nice spaces for the kids. Obviously he's running a business, but he is a family man and wants to make families happy - he predicted a deadline and met it to within 6 days. In contracting, this is pretty good - they did a great job cleaning the work site after the pool was done Cons - communication is sometimes a challenge, but Kurt provided a cell number so we could text him. He will receive your messages and deal with any issues, but won't always communicate that he has dealt with it. A minor inconvenience in the grand scheme. - sometimes he might say "We'll be there Thursday" but if plans change, he might not communicate it. Once again, communication can be a prob but it's a minor issue

We were extremely pleased with the professionalism by Kirt Hammond and staff. Attention to detail and follow up during the entire construction process. Hammond pools completed our family an outstanding pool which we can't wait to open and use in the summer. Hammond pools is unquestionably our top pick for anyone who is considering the design and building of a pool and/or spa.

HAMMOND POOLS did an amazing job transforming our backyard into a beautiful outdoor living space for my family. Everyone on HAMMOND team were knowledgable and friendly and a pleasure to work with. They were extremely professional and brought years of experience and insight to our project.We highly recommend using HAMMOND POOLS.

I don't recommend Hammond Pools. Dealing with the owner is difficult - Kurt Hammond. Communication is poor, I had a drainage issue in my property this summer and he did not want to take ownership. I had to contract again all my trades and fix the issue. I don't recommend this company.
