This is the second home remodel project that we have used Laura Freeman of Merit Design Group, Inc. The results of the first project, a master bath remodel, were so fantastic that we knew we wanted to hire her again for a larger project. Our second project was a whole house update. Laura listed to our request, and was able to design a plan that we could not have envisioned without her help. Every room was transformed from dark and outdated to light and modern. We are so pleased with the final results. We highly recommend Merit Design Group, Inc., and would use Laura again on any future projects.

Laura is fantastic to work with. She interprets what you’re saying, sticks to a budget, and flexes to your style. For example with me, she chose a variety of things, dropped them into a shopping list, and let me make purchases on my own time and dollar. She even sent me sale notices and coupons, now THAT is service. She also went on shopping trips for me, selected items, and sent me photos to approve while she shopped. I love her taste and flair for the interesting yet understated. She’s brilliant. Plus she is lovely and a pleasure.

Laura has an excellent eye for design and functionality. She helped us renovate our kitchen and provided a plan that incorporated our daily needs and kept budget in mind. We love our new kitchen and would certainly use Laura again!

Merits Design Group transformed our home without moving walls and breaking the bank. We hired Laura Freeman of Merit Design Group to do our master bath remodel. Laura drew up three designs to provide us with different options, and allowed us to visualize the end result. Our master bathroom went from a cookie cutter design (that everyone in our neighborhood had from the original builder), to a one of a kind beautiful bathroom with a spa feel to it. Laura and her team are wonderful to work with, and they do a beautiful job designing various projects for clients. I have only had one photo shoot with Laura so far, but it was a really nice renovation job that covered most of an entire home. Her skills in bringing a variety of spaces - kitchen, sunroom, living room, master suite, even basement - back to vibrant life were very evident, as was the connection she had with her client. I'll look forward to working for Laura again!

Merits Design Group not only created an incredibly beautiful master bath but one that is functional and designed to suit our needs. Merits, lead by Laura Freeman, started the project by listening. Plans did not move forward until MDG had a clear understanding of our budget parameters and the things which were important to us. The outcome is a gorgeous, practical space we enjoy every day, a space which has increased the value of our home. An added bonus in hiring Merits Design Group was the many energy saving, environmentally friendly suggestions we would have never considered which will eventually pay for themselves. Laura Freeman absolutely blew our minds with her creativity and vision and the implementation of her design for our space. Our space underwent such a miraculous transformation under her vision and work that it's unrecognizable to anyone who knew it previously, and people rave over that. Our institutional, stuffy, barely functional church fellowship hall is now a cozy, modern, usable, and inviting open gathering space for our youth. Adults and youth alike show up early, linger late after meetings, and make up reasons just to be in it. She found ways to incorporate new ideas as everyone saw it unfold. The end result was stunning to us and all the groups we host. I could not be more pleased with the space or with Laura as a designer and collaborator, a creative spirit, and a hard worker. I would recommend her quality work to ANYone.

Laura helped me update my kitchen and family room. She was great about listening to what I hoped to achieve with both rooms.
