The staff at LID have been extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and fast. We worked with them a few years ago for a bathroom reno. About 1 year after completion we had problem with the under cabinet light strip. They promptly replaced the transformer ( which was determined to be defective) with no hassle. This year (2019) we worked with Brendan on a patio lighting project. Brendan helped me pick out perfect LED lights for the project. He set up the initial wiring and helped direct us as to how to complete installation during the construction of the rock and mortar wall. The lights perfectly enhance the completed patio. We could not be more pleased with the result and the service provided by Brendan and the folks at LID.

Our outdoor lighting system was aging and needed some replacement, repair and updating to LED technology. Brendan assessed our specific needs onsight, provided a detailed quote and then provided the service as and when promised, reusing our existing equipment where possible. We needed an additional visit to correct one problem, which he provided willingly, promptly and at no extra cost. Our outdoor lights look beautiful again and use a whole lot less power!

We hired Brendan and his team to install landscape lighting in both our front and back yards. Both projects were completed on time and on budget. The quality of product, workmanship and customer service was second to none. We had a professional landscape design which Brendan followed to a "T" - and we really appreciate his no-nonsense approach and strong work ethic. Our property has never looked better! We would highly recommend LID and would certainly hire Brendan again on any future projects.

Brendan and his team did a phenomenal job in lighting up our home from the back yard to the front of the house which stands out on our street!! They even installed in-built christmas lighting which is extremely unique. Best of all, the level of service is outstanding. I have used their services for 3 years and never had any major issues. I had been looking for something to replace my outdated coach lights. Jimmy Hamilton was such a pleasure to deal with that I decided to get this company to do the installation as well. The boys at LID Inc. took care of me from start to finish. I originally bought the soffit lights from them thinking another contractor would install them. When the other guy didn't show up I gave LID another call. They were able to squeeze me in during the busy holiday season. Lights look great and I would recommend them to anyone.

LID WAS REFERRED TO ME BY A SEMI-RETIRED ELECTRICIAN. HE TOLD ME HE WAS VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE QUALITY OF THEIR PRODUCTS & HOW QUICK THEIR RESPONSES WERE TO HIS INQUIRIES. I WENT TO LID IN WATERLOO SEVERAL WEEKS AGO. THE PEOPLE THERE WERE VERY FRIENDLY AND INFORMATIVE. THEY PUT ME IN CONTACT WITH BRENDAN AND WE BEGAN TO DISCUSS INSTALLING LED POT LIGHTS THROUGHOUT THE MAIN FLOOR OF MY HOME, UNDER THE COUNTER LED STRIP LIGHTING IN THE KITCHEN, AND LANDSCAPE LIGHTING IN THE FRONT YARD. HE WAS QUICK TO RESPOND, CAME TO COMPLETE A FREE IN-HOME CONSULTATION & ESTIMATE. OVER THE COURSE OF A FEW WEEKS HE ANSWERED ALL MY QUESTIONS AND I FELT CONFIDENT LID WAS THE COMPANY TO COMPLETE THE JOB. BRENDAN & HIS TEAM OF ELECTRICIANS WERE PUNCTUAL, POLITE, AND I FELT COMFORTABLE HAVING THEM IN MY HOME. THEY INVOLVED ME THROUGHOUT THE DECISION MAKING PROCESS EVERY STEP OF THE WAY. I HAD ADDITIONAL ODD JOBS THAT I ASKED IF THEY WOULD MIND DOING FOR ME SUCH AS INSTALLING SOME DIMMER SWITCHES & A LIGHT FIXTURE I HAD PURCHASED. THEY DID NOT HESITATE TO ACCOMMODATE MY REQUESTS AND WERE MORE THEN HAPPY TO HELP. THEY HAD EVEN BROUGHT EXTRA LIGHTS JUST IN CASE AND IT WAS A GOOD THING THEY DID BECAUSE WHILE THEY WERE WORKING I ASKED THEM FOR ADDITIONAL LIGHTS TO BE REPLACED UPSTAIRS AS WELL. THE ENTIRE PROJECT TOOK 1 FULL DAY TO COMPLETE. THEY CLEANED UP WELL AFTER THEMSELVES. THE ONLY THING I WOULD HAVE DONE DIFFERENTLY WAS COVER SOME FURNITURE AND AREAS THAT I DIDN'T WANT DRYWALL TO GET ON. I WAS SO THRILLED WITH THEIR WORK THAT UPON COMPLETION OF THE PROJECT I ASKED ABOUT PUTTING LARGE LED LIGHTS IN MY GARAGE AND EVENTUALLY DOING LANDSCAPE LIGHTING IN MY BACKYARD. MY HOME HAS BEEN TRANSFORMED INTO THE MODERN/CONTEMPORARY SPACE I DREAMED OF. THE AMBIANCE THE OUTDOOR LIGHTING HAS ADDED TO MY LANDSCAPING HAS TURNED MANY HEADS AND RECEIVED HIGH PRAISE FOR HAVING STUNNING CURB APPEAL. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND LID FOR ALL YOUR LIGHTING NEEDS. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED AS IT IS WELL WORTH THE INVESTMENT.

From the first moment that I contacted Brendan he was easy-going and friendly. Better still was his excellent knowledge of how to highlight our backyard.
