I can't say enough positive things about our experience of working with Martina. She first helped us with an interior decoration project which totally transformed several of our rooms. Martina has an excellent way of listening to what it is you are looking for and then coming back with ideas that match up with your hopes and also expand the possibilities. She is not afraid to challenge you in a constructive way. As a result of that success, we then worked with her to design an extension to our kitchen, living room, guest bedroom and master suite. Martina was the mastermind of the operation, initially providing concepts and then providing an architect to bring them to life. She worked seamlessly with the contractor we selected, holding them accountable to the design that was agreed and provided recommendations for furnishing the space once it was completed. Martina is totally committed to excellence, will always go the extra mile, has impeccable taste, communicates openly and frequently and is a lovely person to go with it. We've now done two projects with Lemon Grass and we will never do another one without them being involved. 100% total, complete and utter recommendation!

My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Martina last year when we first opened our dental practice-- the waiting area was outdated and looked like your traditional doctor's office when we first purchased this office; we knew we wanted to hire an interior designer to help make the room feel more contemporary, cozy, and modern and we were so glad we found Martina. Our patients are constantly complimenting us on the decor of the office and we truly feel that our renovated waiting room is able to ease the patients' anxieties and fears they have about dental procedures before they are escorted to the rooms. We decided to hire Martina once again for our home- she was able to quickly understand the vision, flow, and overall esthetic we wanted for the rooms and she was able to execute professionally and timely. We had a housewarming party in just two weeks after we hired her and she was able to get everything in order before the guests came. She worked so hard for us (dropping off items at the doorsteps first thing in the morning, answering emails at 9PM on a Friday night, to name a few) to meet our deadline and we couldnt have been happier with the end results. When I moved into my new home in Glen Ridge in August of 2017, I was delighted to have a much smaller, cozy and more manageable home than my last. But I quickly discovered that almost none of my furniture would work in this new home. My furniture and artwork was way too big, and, I have 18 windows on the first floor of this small house. Where would I put the furniture even if it fit? My real estate agent suggested I call Martina. She's been an absolute God-send! She took stock of all of the problems I faced: traffic flow, lighting, what to do with the kids shoes by the front door, and came up with such creative solutions. She's fantastic with colors and textures. One room flows to the next. She helped me select window shades for all of the windows in my house. (There were none when I moved in.) The variety of textures and patterns are amazing. I would get sidetracked with life, Martina and Pam kept me on track to keep the project moving forward. We completed the dining room, living room and my favorite -- a beautiful sun/TV room I call my own. Today, I continue to work with Martina, Pam and Viktoryia. My bedroom and daughter's room is in progress. I can’t wait to enjoy!

Working with Martina has been a wonderful experience! She is attentive, professional, knowledgeable, thorough, and charming. I had a great experience working with Martina and her team. The Lemongrass process was extremely professional and they were always responsive, timely and thorough which I really appreciated. Martina is talented and insightful and saw potential for my home I never would have dreamed of. I set her a challenging task of making over the main downstairs rooms in my center hall colonial while incorporating existing furniture and keeping costs down. She nailed it! We worked together to splurge on the pieces that mattered and get creative elsewhere. It was a great experience and I look forward to bringing Martina back for bigger projects in the future.

When we hired Lemon Grass we were looking for a partner that would help make the many large and tiny decisions that define a space. Martina set a bold direction for our project which we would not have contemplated on our own. We at Oasis Architecture recently completed an extremely successful collaboration with Lemon Grass Interior Architecture - the interior and exterior reconstruction of the rear half of a 1920's home in the Glen Ridge Historic District. The client was ready for something bright, flowing, and modern, the Historic Preservation Commission was excited about the careful blending of old and new, and our effortless collaboration with Lemon Grass yielded a synthesis of the kind that the clients desired - a reconfigured first floor with plenty of natural light and clean lines, great looking shapes and surfaces, and absolute livability. Just finished my master bathroom. Thank the Gods for Martina! She gave such great advice on how to work with a small space. The bathroom looks SO MUCH bigger. I love everything about it - it is stunning. I never could have done this on my own with the same results - that's for sure. I love the tile, the fixtures, the colors...
