It been almost a year since I ordered my closet from Maxwell's. The process is easy with an in-home consultation to go over ideas and plan the layout. I discovered that you need to think clearly how you are going to use the new system as its radically different from the idea of using the standard rods provided by today builders. That part requires you work hard and help the process by measuring and deciding your needs. I shopped around other vendors and ended up selecting Maxwell's because are local, family operated and stand behind what they do. Their price is competitive and provide some higher end options that are not available in other vendors. After a few iterations on the design, I committed to the process. Our in-house designer knows her stuff and was instrumental in getting a great design with my input. Build and install is quick. The guys do a great job and don't disturb the house at all. Some final adjustments were needed later and were taken care of quickly. I love the slide hampers as it makes dirty clothing disappear neatly. I wanted lots of shelves and covered boxes to hide things and got a fully customized closet as I wanted. Made a small space very functional. After the year, I come to appreciate more and more the benefits, as I am now fully comfortable with the new layout and don't miss at all the basic rod that I had before. What is more, now I have everything in this closet and not all over the house. Plus its neat and organized. Lots of friends love the setup and have very positive comments about it. If you can commit to it, I recommend it.

they did a very good job with the area we had to work in. The planning went well at my place and the timeframe given was very accurate. then the installation went as planned and cleanup was completed very Quickly this is the second time I have used them and both experiences have gone as expected and according to plan. I would highly recommend them for willingness to work with in my budget and offer suggestions to enhance my closet storage to it's fullest.

We have worked with Maxwells Closets twice - for custom bookshelves in our family room as well as a desk in our bedroom. The quality is great, and we love how they all look in our home. The salesperson, Beth, was very patient and helpful. Would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking for custom built-ins with a more modern and clean look.

Maxwell Closet Classics was a great experience from beginning to end. I was able to review all the items up front before ordering and installation. They were very professional and built my office significantly cheaper than their competitors. The office turned out beautiful and was a great addition to my house. It also helped with the sell of our house. Now that we live in a new house we will be contacting them for future projects. I highly recommend getting a free quote from them if you are looking to build any type of custom cabinetry for any room.

We had a great experience from start to finish with Maxwell Closets. They listened to what we wanted, showed us pictures of past jobs and the employees that came for the install were friendly and professional. They are family run and the prices are much more reasonable than Cal Closets. They installed a study work space (new house that had relatively small space to work with) and reconfigured a small closet to make it much more functional. We highly recommend them.

Their service has always been top-notch, courteous, prompt, and willing to work with me on any design needs. I used Maxwell closets several times. They are absolutely awesome. Not only do they come to your home and make recommendations as to what would work best, but they are always looking for the most cost efficient solution. They left samples so we could think about the recommendations and they always checked back with us to make sure we were happy with selections before the job began, with the installers and service during the job, and the finished product after we had a chance to live with our closets, office overhaul and garage. I would definitely use them the next time we need something in our home organized!

This company has created closets in 3 different homes for me. Sherry Halley is exceptionally talented in creating the most closet with even the smallest of spaces! The crew that comes out to install is always courteous and do a neat, clean job during the installation process! I would recommend them to anyone that wants to have an organized closet! I wish I had a picture to share because I just love my closet space!

We moved into a new home and inherited a small-ish laundry room with basically no storage. I was able to schedule Craig pretty quickly to come look at the space & discuss. Shortly after he provided quotes and a couple of drawings of how we could proceed. Considering how simple the space was I was impressed he'd even provided choices! We did our own demo of the little that was existing and then the installer came and knocked out the install in a short period of time. The team was so nice to work with, very responsive, flexible and professional plus the pricing was dramatically less than quotes from both the Container Store & California Closets. It's been roughly 12 months since our install and we are still SO happy. We are already discussing Maxwells for a full master closet re-do!

We moved into a new duplex home in South Austin, and had a mud room entrance off our back yard that was basically useless space. We wanted to make good use of the mud room space for coats, hats, shoes and general storage. Our realtor recommended we contact Maxwell's Closet Classics to design, fabricate and install a storage solution. We scheduled a consult with Maxwell's Sr. Designer, Sherry, and she met with us and with her guidance came up with a workable design that would be installed along one entire wall of the mud room that would accommodate our needs. Installation was performed shortly after by two very polite and knowledgeable technicians. We had a very good experience working with Maxwell and their staff. After 18 months we needed two additional shelves, and Maxwell cut them to order and to our surprise at no charge! Great local company in Austin to work with.
