They completely transformed our master bathroom and bedroom, and converted a small bedroom into a walk-in closet. The end result is a beautiful, functional master suite that we truly love. From the start, the team made the process easy and stress-free. They guided us through key design decisions upfront, which meant we weren’t pressured to make rushed choices during construction. Having that time to think through details ahead of time made a huge difference and helped everything run smoothly. One thing that really stood out was their consistency and professionalism on-site. They used a core crew that showed up every day, so we weren’t dealing with a revolving door of unfamiliar faces. It was the same friendly, respectful team each day, and they were always considerate of our home and the work they were doing. Overall, Mayflower Construction was easy to work with, well-organized, and delivered high-quality results. I have RiverRun Cabinetry in my home which is American made in Virginia and was seeking someone that supported their product and fasteners. It turned out that Mayflower was the only vendor in the Tysons Corner area that supports RiverRun to date. The cabinet worker repaired two cabinets to my satisfaction and completed the work in a timely manner. Thanks again to Mayflower in assisting me with this repair!

Highly recommend! We used Mayflower to redesign and redo our main floor living, kitchen, and dining areas. And we couldn’t be happier! Especially because we did the project totally remotely from Europe. They accommodated our long-distance needs every step along the way and were in constant communication. This allowed us to completely trust them and we’re so glad we did. We finally made it back to our house after all the construction was done and it was gorgeous! All the materials are very high quality and the craftsmanship is seamless. The design process was so fun and they worked with us to make sure our design dream fit our budget. We would happily use them again for home renovations.

We recently had our upstairs hall bathroom renovated by Mayflower. Our bathroom had two separate leaks. One leak was coming from behind the shower and another leak was from the base of the toilet. Water was leaking through our bathroom ceiling down into our entry hall below. Alex, our project manager and his team were able to quickly identify where the two leaks were coming from. Unfortunately, the previous bathroom renovation we had done wasn't done properly. The tile installation was not done the right way and that led to a water leak developing from the base of the toilet. Nicole helped us design our new bathroom and made it easy for us to pick out tiles, bathroom hardware, mirror, cabinets etc. She was patient and accommodating with our two teenagers who came with us into the showroom. Dhvani, kept us updated weekly on their progress and was always available for any questions or concerns. Also, I can not speak highly enough of our renovators Tomas and Pedro. These guys showed up on time every morning and worked very hard all day long. They were both super friendly and they cleaned up any mess at the end of each day. Mayflower likes to stay on schedule and on the last day they had four guys come to our house to get everything finished on time. It was all hands on deck on the last day. I really appreciate how Mayflower stayed on track to finish our project in the amount of time they promised. In our case it was 3 weeks. I would highly recommend Mayflower Construction to anyone looking for a bathroom/kitchen/laundry room remodel. If you have a problem, especially with any leaks - they will identify where your leak is coming from and fix it! We are absolutely delighted to have a new and modern bathroom that we can use now.

Their designer Nicole gave us everything we asked for and then some, finding the exact cabinet color and style we wanted, and making the most of every inch of our relatively small kitchen. The quality of their work and attention to detail is unsurpassed. The crew showed up on time every morning, worked non-stop, and could not have been more professional. Communications and responsiveness were first-rate, and to top it off, they were on-schedule and on-budget. We highly recommend them.

We are very happy with our new tile patio installed by Mayflower. Mayflower did such a great job remodeling our kitchen and bathrooms that they were the logical pick to install tile on our patio to cover the grey cement that was the original surface.

We recently had the pleasure of working with Mayflower Construction Group on a comprehensive renovation project, and we couldn't be happier with the results. Our project involved a complete transformation of the owner's suite, turning two small bedrooms and a small bath into one large bedroom with a bath, shower, and walk-in closet. Additionally, we refreshed the entire kitchen, installed new hardwood floors throughout the main level, and updated the laundry room. Design and Planning: Nicole was amazing and worked tirelessly until we were happy with the design for our very tricky existing layout. The result gave us pretty much everything we had hoped for. Exceptional Service: Several instances highlighted the excellent service we received: 1.Cabinetry Color Matching: We experienced issues with cabinetry color matching, and Alex was persistent in communicating with the cabinet painter until it was finally correct. This took meetings and many hours of his time after the project was already completed and we had moved back in. He was adamant that they get the color correct. 2.Roof Shingles: Days after the roof was finished, we arrived home to find the roofers back up there. Alex told us he wasn't quite happy with how a few of the shingles looked from the ground, so he had instructed that area be redone—without us requesting anything. 3.Basement Floor: The existing basement floor was uneven from a previous renovation, making the installation of tile flooring difficult. The team found a way to accommodate the slope, resulting in a symmetrical and consistent grade. Craftsmanship: Frankie was diligent, and his team were excellent craftsmen. He consulted us on the many options we were offered, ensuring we made informed decisions. Professionalism: The whole team was kind and respectful toward us. They worked tirelessly six days a week from 8 am to 6 pm or 7 pm. The project was completed in three months, which went through Christmas and New Year’s Day. After hearing so many horror stories about delayed projects, we had anticipated a several-week or month delay, but the team completed the project on time, with only several days of final tweaks once we moved back in. Cleanliness: The team was exceptional about cleaning up each evening before they departed and left our home spotless after the renovation was completed. Responsiveness: Nicole, Alex, and the team were incredibly responsive to our ideas and requests, even when they seemed a bit wacky. Sometimes we agreed to go with our ideas, and sometimes we went with theirs. In both cases, we love the result. Alex was often at the job site and made time for a consult with us whenever we asked. We highly recommend Mayflower Construction Group for their dedication, craftsmanship, and exceptional service. They turned our vision into reality and made the renovation process as smooth as possible.

We contracted with Mayflower Construction in 2024 to complete a long overdue renovation of our kitchen and laundry room. I rarely give online reviews, but Mayflower deserves high praise and our best recommendation based on the excellent experience we had with everyone associated with the firm and the beautiful results we continue to enjoy. I would echo all of the positive comments of other customers posted at this site, with special recognition of: 1) the firm's personable and highly knowledgeable designer, Nicole, who took time and great care to understand our goals, budget, and design-sense. I loved collaborating with her throughout the project, and was always impressed by her ability to quickly understand what we wanted and incorporate it perfectly into a final design; 2) the effective process they used to guide us through all pre-construction design decisions including budget, floorplan modifications, cabinet selection and configuration, countertop selection, flooring, appliances, and hardware; 3) the care taken to thoroughly zip-wall and seal the construction areas from the rest of our living space, making us as comfortable as possible during all phases; 4) the leadership of the project manager, Alex, and the professionalism, dedication, efficiency and craftsmanship of the team who completed the work, ahead of their contracted completion date; 5) the commitment of all involved in working with us to iron-out any unexpected conditions encountered in our 50-year old house to our complete satisfaction, as demolition and construction progressed; and finally, 6) the friendly feelings we have about the entire team at Mayflower even after undergoing a renovation of both our laundry and kitchen at the same time, while we continued to live in our home. That says a lot in and of itself. Kudos and much respect to the entire Mayflower team for a job more than well done!

We had a great experience with the renovation. The design phase was good and considered all our storage needs while giving us a more pleasing aesthetic. The construction crews were efficient, knowledgeable, hardworking craftsmen who showed up every day until the project finished. Every detail was thought through and we are so pleased with the results. We are veteran renovators and this was far the smoothest experience.
