Kurt knows his stuff. He drew up plans by hand and via computer (multiple times.). He gave insight as to what I needed to spend some money one, what I could skimp on, what I might want that I didn’t even know existed, added design ideas I would have never thought of, and who to call to get it done. He was a true pleasure to work with. I hope the renovation chapter of my life is done, but if it isn’t, I’m going back to Kurt.

Kurt is one of the most talented, easy to work with designers I have ever met. He takes a very simplistic approach that is easy to understand and very pleasing to the eye. I would recommend him to anyone for any style.

Our kitchen remodeling project started slowly until we found Kurt McKeithan. He met with us and quickly saw the vision we were looking for. He translated those conversations into a set of drawings and we know we had found our designer. From the drawings, thru the selection of materials and finishes, to building the cabinets and assisting in selecting of fixtures Kurt was 5 stars. We talked to 8 other designers and really can honestly say Kurt was on an entirely different level then the others and that is why we entrusted our project to McKeithan Design Studio. I've hired Kurt McKeithan on 2 occasions -- once for an outdoor space and once for a full kitchen remodel. This man is TALENTED! & creative!! He has a very urban cool style but was willing to mix it up when I wanted to add some more traditional elements. He knows a lot of craftspeople and artisans, as well as many people in the trades. Kurt is a joy to work with -- great at communicating and worked well with both my budgets. He's fun, friendly and I enjoyed the time I spent with him.

Kurt was amazing. From the initial sketch to the final finishes, he took our 'country cabin' project to a a 'dwell-worthy' magazine photoshoot. I would never, ever even attempt a design project WITHOUT KURT. He is a good human being too. -Matt and Pam

I couldn't be happier. The design expertise of Kurt McKeithan is very impression. He had a vision for our kitchen cabinets and tops and it turned out wonderful. The cabinets have inset doors and they look classy custom. I found the price to be a good value for the quality of the product. His staff is great too, very conscientious and concerned about the happiness of the customer. Highly recommend, 5 stars!

Kurt (and the whole team @ McKeithan Design Studio) is fantastic to work with -- he is bright, creative and endlessly enthusiastic. He custom designed beautiful work for our kitchen and bathrooms that fit our needs, personality, lifestyle and budget. Our family bought a beautiful home three years ago; however, there was one "Problem" with the house: the kitchen was AWFUL. We knew that we needed more than a kitchen facelift, update, or even gut. . . we needed a new kitchen, not only enlarged but also reintegrated into the house for our family's modern lifestyle as well as to more accurately reflect our style and sensibilities. We had many thoughts of our own, and considered several plans from kitchen designers, but were not "wowed" by anything; in fact, nothing felt right. And then we met Kurt McKeithan. . Kurt came to our home, met with us, listened to our thoughts and reviewed some of our wants, and said "give me a few days". In only a day or two, Kurt came back with two different plans that each thrilled our family; we chose one, and in less than three months we not only had a new kitchen, we had a new home. And the result: Kurt's kitchen is not only perfect for our family--it is the envy of all our friends!

McKeithan Design saved me from several regrets. I had no idea how amazing and out of the box ideas Kurt McKeithan design can create! I absolutely love my kitchen and beams Kurt not only designed but helped make what he drew on paper come to life with a budget to make it happen. A small example, My kitchen went from 12 cabinets to two walls and island full of cabinets and storage.

Kurt and his team were nothing but wonderful to work with during the entire projects. We have now used him three times on different projects and he always brings with him a fabulous design sense then executes until the end which has always been a superior product. We would highly recommend him!
