My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

About Us

Mendelson Group was incorporated in 2003 by its principal, Gideon Mendelson. A graduate of both Columbia University with a degree in Architecture and The New York School of Interior Design, Gideon brings a classically based, yet fresh and modern aesthetic to his projects. Focusing efforts on interior architecture and decoration, Mendelson Group’s goal is to create functional, comfortable spaces that are not only aesthetically pleasing, but also timeless in design, youthful and energetic. Since its founding, Mendelson Group has been involved in the architecture and interior design of numerous projects in Manhattan, Westchester, Miami and the Hamptons. While our projects are diverse in both scope and design, a single principle is our constant guide: from the initial consultation, through architectural and decorative planning, to construction and installation, the client’s satisfaction is our first priority.

Gideon and his team are phenomenal. They are smart, creative and fun. They bring unparalleled knowledge and attention to detail their work. The results are the highest quality, one-of-a-kind spaces. Since the process is incredibly well-documented and organized, I was able to to relax and enjoy the selection and curation phases of the project. Gideon listened closely to our wants and needs and created unique and functional spaces that work for our family life. The first phase of the project was finished on-time and on-budget. I highly recommend Mendelson Group.

Gideon and his team are outstanding. They worked with us for over a year from the earliest stages of conceptualization, finding solutions for all our design problems. They designed spaces that were both aesthetically pleasing and practical. Highest recommendation.
