Mend

Susie worked with us to help us with our new home. She was always pleasant and professional. I was nervous about the whole thing since I had never tried decorating a new place and to this extent. She was very calming and made me feel more comfortable.. Susie has a good eye for design and helped us a lot with suggestions. I also appreciated that she didn't nickel and dime us and spent a lot of time with us to discuss ideas. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is that, in retrospect, I think that perhaps our tastes weren't enough of a match (I like 'shabby-chic and bohemian, while I think Susie is more contemporary) so even though she was helpful, I think that I had hoped for a little bit more in the eccentric ideas department. Other than that, I think she is very talented and I highly recommend her!

My husband & I hired Susie to help us with a small remodel on our condo in San Francisco, we were initially drawn to Susie's aesthetic: her use of bright bold colors and eclectic mix was a perfect fit for us. Over the course of almost a year, she helped us with design decisions by narrowing the seemingly never ending range of options (for light fixtures, tile, etc.), and we really appreciated her showing us a mix of high and low priced offerings - we really liked knowing when to splurge versus when to save. Throughout the process, she was really patient with us - our first time ever taking on a project like this - for which we were so grateful. We couldn't be happier with the finished product, I'd definitely recommend Susie!

We hired Susie to design a gender-neutral nursery that could also comfortably double as a guest room. She created a happy, soothing and functional space that is as welcoming to our adult guests as it is to our little one on a daily basis. This is the third time we've hired Susie. We love working with her because she's a great listener, respectful of budget and so creative!

I have hired Mend for small projects like updating our living room and master bedroom with new textiles to a complete remodel of our master bathroom and start to finish designs for our nursery and dining room. Susan took the time to understand and execute our design sensibility. She is extremely thorough in researching options and works very well with a timeline. I never found myself waiting for correspondence from her. She is always professional and thoughtful in her suggestions, I absolutely trust her design eye! We are so proud of the home she has helped us create.

Susie Ho did a wonderful, fast job for me. I had to get all set up in a new apartment very quickly. We talked about my tastes and budget, and days later, she had put together everything I needed: chosen paint colors, made lists of furniture and accents to buy. The end result is a place I could immediately call home, and a place in which I love to spend time and entertain.

We have had an amazing experience with Susie. We hired mendetc for a full service interior design on 300 year old house that we converted into a bed and breakfast/guesthouse. Due to distance, we communicated via phone, email, facetime, and etc. At first, I was wary since we would not meet face to face, but Susie listened carefully to everything we had envisioned for our guesthouse. We were constantly in contact, having time to listen to our needs. She has an amazing eye for design and she was able to bring out the strengths our of traditional guesthouse while also adding touches of modernity creating a beautiful marriage between new and old. She is very professional, respects deadlines and budgets, and is an expert at design. I would highly recommend and look forward to working with her in the future.
