Michael Caraviello is an excellent builder. We bought our home from him after the framing and drywall were completed, and we were able to pick the final finishings. He was the ultimate professional and on time throughout the building process. Communication was great and we were very pleased with the entire process from start to finish. He gave us great design ideas that resulted in a beautiful home. Over time, after several years in the house, I've come to appreciate his craftmanship even more. My wife and I had been looking at houses for a few years when we stumbled upon one of Michael’s house. We knew immediately we had found the right home for our family. Unlike the other new construction options we had looked at, there was clearly a great deal of thought that went into the planning and construction of our home. Missing were the large rooms that are rarely used and odd circulation and instead there are thoughtfully sized rooms, attention to how light enters the house and to how people move around and use the home. It was almost as if we designed it specifically for our family. We had put the house under agreement while it was still under construction and we made a few changes to the design after the fact in addition to the myriad of decorating, fixture and material selections we wanted to make to put our “stamp” on the home. During this entire process Michael was very cooperative helping us to understand our options and ideas we had not thought of while being tremendously flexible in helping to schedule various vendors to meet the needs of our changes. After closing and move-in Michael was responsive and addressed any question or issue we had and patiently acted as our personal user manual. We have now been in the home for seven months and every time I find another new feature or detail that was attended to I am grateful we found Michael as our builder. He delivered the home to compliment the family we love.

As a commercial construction builder, I knew I needed a builder I could trust, who would treat me fairly and would allow me to be a part of the process. Michael Caraviello was just that partner. When my house plans were finished, I went out to three different contractors to get pricing. All the bids were within 10% of each other and Michael was not the lowest. But, after two hours of going over the estimate, it was clear to me that Michael understood the drawings and most importantly what we wanted. From the initial estimate meeting to the conclusion of the final punchlist item, Michael was there for me when I needed him every step of the way. Our home was finished on time and on budget. Moreover, we were able to make changes to various details of our home because Michael was completely transparent explaining our options and the potential cost implications. Michael answered my questions, no matter how simple and how many times I needed to ask the same one over again. My wife especially appreciated his attention to detail and how patient he was as we thought through some decisions. He also had great design and finish suggestions which resulted in the final house exceeding our expectations. Michael thought through details long before the phase that they were needed. He was able to identify potential issues with the construction of the home well before we even started construction, helping us to avoid potential cost overruns. It was clear from the beginning that he had a vision for the house. I am extremely pleased with the house that Verdant Properties built and would highly recommend them!
