In 2025, we wanted to update our bathrooms but didn't want a simple refresh of what we already had. We felt the layout of the master bathroom could be improved. We met the Mires at the Home & Garden Show at Lamar Dixon. Liking what we saw there we scheduled an appointment for Mireworks to come to our house. Vickie & Blake came to see our home and discussed some options in general terms and said they would create an estimate for them to develop computer plans. Mireworks did exactly what they said. We were sent renderings for 4 different options. Over a Zoom call Vickie reviewed each option in detail, patiently answered all of our questions, and made revisions on the fly. After making our final decision, we received our detailed construction packet and Mireworks final invoice which was slightly lower than their lower estimate. All 3 of the contractors we met with for estimates were complimentary of the work plans. After choosing a contractor, Vickie was available to meet with him and answer any questions, We are very pleased with our new bathrooms and definitely recommend Mireworks to anyone planning a kitchen or bath project.

Vickie and Blake have been tremendous assets in our plans to update our bathrooms for aging in place. I knew I needed professional input, but didn't realize the depth and breadth of detailed information they would bring to our project! Any and every aspect that I wanted to be included was competently addressed, and they brought in details such as in lighting and HVAC that I had not even thought to ask about. They considered not just functioning of the spaces but also the aesthetics. Their expertise is making it possible for us to improve not just the bathrooms, but adjacent areas as well. We are going into the remodeling with deep confidence in an outcome that will be very supportive of our future needs and be beautiful, too. Vickie and Blake, my husband and I are thankful for you!

This was a master bath remodel project, which entailed a complete tear down to the studs and start over. Vickie and Blake Mire are a very detailed oriented couple that worked with us on this project. The design project went smoothly. Their suggestions were from a place of experience. I highly recommend.

We hired Mireworks for two projects and couldn’t be happier with the results. They stayed within the original fee estimate and delivered exactly what was promised in the design. We initially tried to tackle the second project without a designer, but quickly realized how valuable Vickie’s expertise is when she’s involved from the very beginning. My wife and I have been working a while on a major remodel on our 1972 built home! I had finally reached a point and age where doing it myself just couldn't happen anymore. MireWorks were recommended to us by a friend. They came in, looked at what had already been done and what we wanted to get accomplished. They came up with great ideas that not only looked great but saved us a ton of money and grief. The details in their plans will allow me to sub out most of the work. And if I get in over my head those same detailed plans will allow me to get a QC to finish. The Mire's are a wonderful hard working couple. We will recommended them and use them again on any other projects.

Working with Vickie and Blake has been the best experience on all levels. Their knowledge, experience and insight has proven to be invaluable to me since I am renovating my home on my own with no one else to turn to for advice. They point out details that I would have never thought about and made great recommendations all while trying to keep me within my budget. My home is a mid-century home and we have had the best time working together to bring it to the modern age while keeping in line with the era it was built in. Blake and Vickie were a pleasure to work with. They are very friendly and have lots of experience. They knew the right questions to ask and when to ask them. Additionally they gave excellent recommendations for any details that needed to be fleshed out. We originally wanted to have them design a master bed/bath and kitchen remodel. On their first visit they identified something we hadn’t considered: the floor plan allowed for transforming the laundry area and office bathroom to a laundry room, while keeping the whole bathroom. This is something we hadn’t considered and they were able to design it in a budget friendly way. We think this small design addition will be an enormous improvement. Mireworks used great visual tools to help us make decisions easily. We have busy schedules but were easily able to review the design. Blake and Vickie are focused and diligent to get the design complete so we could start working. They will not rush you, but they will also make sure you don’t get stuck in the design phase. We highly recommend Mireworks for your remodel design.

Mireworks Design is a wonderful company to trust with any size renovation. Vickie is very thorough in her designs and specifications. On our last job, the subs expressed how pleased they were with the plans and specs. They said it made their job much easier. Mireworks Design is a very honest and experienced company. Best decision we made was starting our remodel with Mireworks. On the first visit, Vickie and Caleb sat and visited with us like family, listened to our plans and vision for our home and a few weeks later presented us with plans better than we dreamed of. They have such a unique perspective on ideas for storage and gave us a “flow” for our home that will make it function much smarter. We also like that they are available for design advice throughout the project which bolsters our confidence to make wise purchases. We hired Mireworks to provide architectural drawings for building out a guest suite. It will involve both remodeling existing space and adding on. They were in a word “Phenomenal” to work with. Mireworks is quality in every way. They are thorough, honest and fair, insightful and creative. Their attentiveness to listen to the specific desires and needs for use of the space, attention to every slight detail, thoroughness, dependability, punctuality, professionalism, generosity and warm, graciousness and wealth of information is unsurpassed. They not only provided the complete set of drawings we needed to request permitting but were a tremendous resource in additionally provided detailed lists of ancillary services and craftsmen, complete with contact names and numbers. Mireworks equipped us with the tools and explicit information as to how to proceed in this process. This complete service and package delivered were worth every penny and then some. Such a value for the service rendered. The only thing of greater value than the product rendered to us is the impeccable quality and value of “who” Mireworks is. Thank you Vickie and Caleb. I contacted MireWorks when I started to modernize my kitchen ceiling (replaced old florescent fixtures with a shiplap look), replaced all of my den, dining room, master bedroom floors, complete remodel of our masterbath. We enjoyed working with Mireworks on our kitchen re-model. Vickie was very helpful in suggesting great ideas to make our kitchen functional and helped with space saving ideas. The plans were professionally done, and we would definitely recommend Mireworks to others.

I can't say enough about how impressed I am with Vicki and Caleb at Mireworks. I don't often write reviews but I felt compelled to say something about my experience. My wife and I recently purchased a home in Covington, LA. We pride ourselves in our creativity when it comes to renovating homes but, for the life of us, just could not figure out what to do with the inefficient floorpan we had just moved into. Luckily, we found Mireworks and to the rescue they came. When we met Vicki and Caleb for the first time, they asked us really thoughtful questions so they could understand the plan and vision we had for the property. After that, they did a walkthrough, took several measurements and made some great suggestions on how the new layout could could be constructed. We were practically renovating the entire home. Some walls were moving, others not. It was a large undertaking but after meeting with them a lot of our stress was alleviated. After a few short days, Vicki and Caleb met with us again to go over some floor-plan ideas. They provided 4 options and we were able to pick and choose ideas from each floor-plan option to build out our final draft. The level of detail Mireworks was able to draw out in the final floor-plan was amazing. From floor to ceiling and electrical layout to plumbing, they thought of things that would never have been on my radar. These details will make my experience with my GC so much easier and cost effective too. The final product for us was a 12 page detailed document with everything we need to get started with our GC. Demo plans, electrical and plumbing layouts, cabinet and window schedules, tile patters, and literally everything else we needed was included. I can't thank them enough, their help far exceeded our expectations. Whether you are renovating one room or an entire house, I strongly suggest reaching out to Vicki and Caleb at Mireworks!

I love these guys! They are designing my new home from top to bottom. It feels like you're working with family to create your vision. I cant wait to see my vision become a reality! We used Mireworks, LLC, to redesign our kitchen and baths after the flood of August 13, 2016. They sat down with us and went over our desires and then we were able to review the actual changes right then. We received detailed drawings along with top quality work. They answered all our questions and helped tremendously with contractor. They went the extra mile and we " highly recommend them to anyone needing any renovations or simply wanting to remodel their home". We agree with their 5 star rating in all areas. We have had so many compliments on their design. Still can't believe the transformation and the difference in made. Thanks Blake, Vickie, and Caleb.

When we bought our house, we knew that we wanted to immediately remodel the outdated and inefficient kitchen, as well as replace the floors all downstairs. Vickie and MireWorks were recommended, and I am quite glad that they were. From the first, Vickie came in and made me feel like this daunting project could be completed. I had some vague ideas about what I wanted, but without her, I would have been lost. After some discussion on what my family and I wanted and needed, her team presented us with architectural plans for several great options for the kitchen and dining room. Once we had made our decision on layout, Vickie was wonderful at communicating with our contractor about every detail. She also was a tremendous help in making sure I knew all of the steps in the process. I like to do my research, but I was a bit overwhelmed among the endless options of flooring, counters, paint colors, fixtures, etc, etc. Vickie helped me envision pairings that I would never have considered on my own, and she had great taste! But she certainly always listened to my own preferences and adjusted her suggestions accordingly. Vickie and her team were available and supportive at each step. When we had problems with the design due to the structure of the house, they quickly stepped in and came up with alternative options. She followed up with me to see how things were coming along, and to make additional suggestions for any items I had not decided on yet. They were always responsive and made us feel like our project was important to them. And let me tell you! I could not have dreamed of a more beautiful space. Our kitchen is perfect. It honestly looks like it belongs in a magazine, and it makes me happy to be in there every day. We love it so much!!

Mireworks, LLC helped my kitchen renovation vision become a reality. Vickie and Caleb had additional ideas that I hadn't thought of in my original plan. I needed a kitchen that was both handicap-accessible for my husband and functional for everyday cooking for me. We are still in the beginning stages of construction; however, I'm fully confident that the renovation will be a success because of the design expertise offered by Vickie and Caleb at Mireworks. I would definitely hire them again for any future renovations.

As a contractor they have some of the most accurate and detailed plans I've worked with. They have the experience to put even the smallest details where it needs to be :whether it be lighting , a simple receptacle , or maximizing space. I would work with any drawings or ideas they suggest. On a remodel the small fee Mireworks charges can make your finished product go from i really don't like this to wow! I didn't know we could do that. I highly recommend Mireworks on any project you might be thinking of. They can take a lot of stress out of it. And they also can help out with product selection. I really enjoyed working with Vickie and Caleb. I had a very small bathroom in need of a remodel. Despite the tiny size of the project, they were consistently enthusiastic and had many wonderful ideas to maximize the use of my space. After our initial meeting, Vickie and Caleb provided clear and concise plans very promptly.
