I was needing to refresh the paint in my family room, kitchen, foyer and son's room. I discovered my painter had an unexpected opening the week before Easter. I called MKR Interiors and asked for a "rush" consulting time to help me select paint colors so I could meet the Painter's schedule. May Kay and Lindsey squeezed me in over lunch, came prepared with a host of grey selections, helped me select "warm grey" for my entire home. Results - LOVE my newly painted house and friends/family rave about the colors !

I was looking to have my floors redone in my basement. MKR interiors was extremely helpful in both suggesting new products but also on color choices. And, the install was very professional and went so smoothly. The were very accommodating to our timing and completed the job as planned and within budget

I wanted to hire an interior decorator in Palatine and found MKR Interiors through the Houzz website. We met and I found MaryKay to be a personable woman who respectfully listened to my general ideas as to what I wanted done in our living room and dining room; MaryKay came back with a plan that suited what I was looking for. She was there to help make decisions on every detail of our remodeling project. She recommended upgrades that would eventually make our house more marketable. With every step of the project, she hired contractors who took pride in their work, and she coordinated them to have the work flow in a timely fashion. She always made sure to stop by the house to ensure everything was going according to plan. When all of the major work was done, she and Lindsay spent a good amount of time finding the right combination and the right layout of artwork to make the house look finished. Not only would I highly recommend MKR Interiors, but I plan on using MaryKay's talents again with future projects.

We refinished our entire first floor and I thoroughly enjoyed working with MaryKay and her assistant Lindsay. Mary Kay led me through the entire process with wonderful color choices and coordination between rooms. She was always available and made coordination with different contractors easy. She was also reassuring during the at times long process of refinishing floors and painting kitchen cabinets. MaryKay also worked with me at my own pace (which was probably sometimes glacial). I can't say enough about how happy I am that I worked with MaryKay. Our home has a wonderful cohesiveness that it would not have if I had attempted this on my own. I will be using her for future projects and am looking forward to it.

Mary Kay and Lindsay did a great job in helping us with window treatments and hardware for our living room. Mary Kay provided some great fabric options so we were able to quickly make a selection that worked for our home. We are very busy but know what we like when we see it. She made it very easy as she found some great fabrics that we loved right away. The windows looks fabulous thanks to their help. The treatments added so much warmth to the room. Mary Kay and Lindsay were also very professional and easy to work with. We would definitely recommend them

With our recent kitchen remodeling project well underway, I knew I would be needing window treatments and cushions and pillows for our new banquette. Mary Kay was quickly able to pull together the options for fabric and style that would coordinate with our family room area and new kitchen colors. I couldn't be more pleased with the updated look! Mary Kay could envision what this new space would look like in the rough. As each new piece came into play, we worked together to achieve my dream kitchen and eating area which our family can now enjoy for many years to come.

I have used Mkr Interiors in multiple projects in my home! Mary Kay is very artistic and talented and takes the time to understand your taste, preferences, with budget in mind. She is very responsive and makes you feel like you are her only customer. Every project was delivered beyond my expectations. We used MKR in designing the master bedroom, bathrooms (2) , family room, and study. She was involved in all aspects of the design, flooring, window treatments, counter tops, accessories, walls, etc. We are enjoying our beautiful home and constantly receive compliments from guests thanks MKR!

MaryKay and Linsday are a pleasure to work with and a great team! I feel lucky to have met MaryKay because she puts in a lot of effort to make sure we are happy. We had hired her company to fill our empty dining room (and hired them again for our living room) and the end result is a room we absolutely LOVE! I can't say enough good things about MaryKay and our experience working with her and her assistant Lindsay. She came recommended to us through a friend and I am so thankful she able to help us, because without her our house wouldn't be the result of the vision we wanted. I recently photographed several of MaryKay's projects. She and Lindsay were great to work with and had the jobs staged ahead of time to make things go super smooth for me while on site. They helped review each image to ensure every detail was perfect and brought out the best of each location. Their professionalism was top notch and they even went the extra mile to leave the customers homes in better condition than when we arrived by leaving flowers as a thank you for allowing us back in their homes.
