Marcus is great to work with. He returns phone calls and tries to keep the job rolling. Only problem we had was with some of the workers. The person who put in our geo thermal was a dead beat. Took two months and Marcus's help to get filters. The electrical/plumbing (Wix's plumbing) people put more holes than needed. The people who put in the tile could have spend more time and watch what they were doing. I know Marcus tries to use local people but sometimes you need to go with reputation instead of low bid. I would use him again but watch to see who gets the bid.

I can't say enough good things about this company. This builder has built 2 homes for us and assisted on another home that was out of his building area. We are more than pleased with this builder. He goes well beyond pleasing the home owners. His attention to detail is unbelievable. A real joy to work with and very professional. I would definitely hire them again.

Modern Structures LLC did a complete exterior remodel for us last summer, including replacing siding with rock, updating all trimwork, gutters, shutters, and porch columns. We are very pleased with the results. Looks like a different house! We also asked them to install a large basketball "court". Marcus Smith's answer to all our requests was always "Not a problem!" Marcus and his associates are a great group of people to work with. We are planning to work with them to complete another project this spring.

We are builiding an unconventional home, with lots of opportunity to stretch the boundaries of convention. Marcus took the project with enthusiasm and has allowed us to realize the vision we had. He uses talented, local resources where he can and knows the right people to get the jobs done quickly,efficiently, and attractively. The subcontractors are courteous and conscious of cost while delivering service. He is always available by phone, text, or email. He responds quickly. He has an excellent relationship with the subs and communicates our decisions to them well. We have found him to be honest and respectful. We have seen every invoice for the build so I know that we are getting the best value that we can. Because our build is unusual, we had many decision points. Marcus discussed the possibilities and developed innovative, cost effective solutions that realized our vision. I have to say, his advice has enhanced the result while delivering a solid, beautiful home. I would whole heartedly recommend Modern Structures for a build or for any level of remodeling you would have in mind.
