Lattanzio Landscapes

My husband and I were able to build a brand new house over the past two years. It is a contemporary prairie style house with a hundred year old farmer’s barn. Nancy spent a fair amount of time thinking about how to marry these two styles. The results are spectacular. The planting in front marry traditional New England plantings with Asian plants. At the edge of a very large patio there is a long raised bed planter which I have more perennials mixed with annuals for a casual feel. Nancy has inspected every step and returns weekly to take certain things are thriving I would certainly recommend Nany if you are thinking considering a landscaping project.

Nancy transformed the outdoors of our new construction home from a giant dirt pile into a beautiful oasis. Former urban dwellers, we sometimes laugh at how much enjoyment and satisfaction we take out of the spaces she made for us to use and relax in, including hardscape, open lawn and gardens. She clearly takes joy in her profession and spread her love for nature to us--we never even owned a houseplant before and are now regularly found on our knees in the dirt! She is very responsive, creative, and sensitive to budget and practical concerns--her main priority is how YOU will use the space and your stamina for taking care of it. She takes great pride in her work and checks in on us frequently to make sure her creation is shining. I very highly recommend Nancy and her team!

Nancy is wonderful to work with! She truly listens to her client’s ideas and dreams for their yards and turns them into beautiful landscapes! Most notable is that Nancy is creative, knowledgeable, flexible, open to client’s ideas, stays in budget, and friendly. Nancy has provided us with careful, expert guidance throughout our project. It was early on in the project we realized that Nancy’s expertise was beyond any expectations. The attention to details, and constant management of the project insured that all was accomplished correctly without any short cuts. Design and pre-planning of the project was thorough and the final project far exceeded our “WOW” factor. There were no cost overruns(within the budget). Nancy has a great way of communicating and working through unexpected circumstances with all of the four contractors on the job. It was a pleasure working with Nancy and we look forward to working with her on our next project.

We've hired Nancy several times, most recently for a backyard landscape/hardscape project. We, quite simply, give her our highest recommendation. From brainstorming ideas to finishing every last detail of work she manages the project with efficiency, cost-consciousness, and quality of service and product. We live in an urban neighborhood with a lot of foot traffic. People are constantly stopping to look and admire our front yard. Nancy is wonderful to work with - as well as designing a very inspiring and glorious outdoor space, she guides and educates me on how to maintain our garden. I used Nancy to redo my backyard and front yard. She was AMAZING. We worked through every detail and a well thought out plan before the project started. She was able to bring in exceptional contractors....that I still work with today. Nancy also follows up every year to make sure the plants are doing well. She made sure we were 100% satisfied. Nancy was wonderful to work with! She listened carefully to our thoughts about re-designing our garden, asked good questions, and incorporated these ideas into her plan. Her garden design itself was both functional and beautiful. Nancy sub-contracts with a wonderful team of people. The stone masons she uses are particularly skilled. Overall, we could not be more happy with the end result. Our garden provides an "extra room" to the house, and has been a place that has brought us peace and joy this summer.

It has been a pleasure to work with Nancy on the design of our new deck and landscaping around the house. Nancy has a unique skill of combining detailed elegance with practicality. She spent hours taking various photos of property, obtaining records from town hall and doing measurements. We would come home and find Nancy studying the various angles of the house similar to how an artist would prepare a canvas. She devoted much energy to create a design that would blend itself to the old architecture of our house. She was excellent at anticipating the various challenges that the physical aspect of the house might present. Nancy subsequently created and redesigned multiple plans and options. She met with us on numerous occasions. Her knowledge of plants and shrubbery combined with an eye for detail makes her services invaluable. Her patience and calm demeanor in listening to our concerns and needs were much appreciated. Nancy has access and works with multiple contractors from builders to plumbers and landscapers. We worked with some of Nancy's contractors who were professional and executed her plan without fail. She also spent many hours during the construction phase working with with our building contractor and addressing his questions. She also spent a day with us at the nursery, educating and showing us the various options available for planting, while keeping our budget in mind. It is without any reservation that we recommend Nancy!

My husband and I have happily worked with Nancy over the past year designing and creating a beautiful patio and botanical garden! Nancy is professional, smart and sensitive to the wishes of her customer. Our backyard was completed two weeks ago and it is more beautiful and welcoming than we ever expected. I would highly recommend Lattanzio Landscapes for design services. Ms. Lattanzio has a wonderful sense of design and she distinguishes herself in that she truly works _with_ the client. In other words, she listens carefully and makes appropriate suggestions. She also has a great landscaping crew working with her. I worked with her on two separate major projects and was simply delighted with the outcome: one was a re-configuring of my yard, building walls, fences, and a walkway behind the house. The second was replacing the driveway. I would definitely hire her again.

Nancy Lattanzio is a very talented landscape designer who is also a pleasure to work with. Nancy has worked diligently with us for over 5 years and has transformed our uninspired yard into a beautiful, functional outdoor space. She has also worked to turn an untamed, invasive-choked wooded area/wetland into what we now refer to as our "woodland" filled with native trees, shrubs, ferns and perennials and mulched pathways. Nancy's knowledge of horticulture is vast and she is an ace at selecting the best plants suited to our environment while being sensitive to our personal preferences. Her communication skills are excellent, she has a large network of sub-contractors, and has experience working effectively with town government. I look forward to working with Nancy on more home landscape projects!
