We worked with Jodi Green and Ross Mitchamore with Novak Customer Builders to have a house built in the DeerHaven community of Georgetown. The entire process was misleading and excruciating. Jodi could not keep the lots or floorplans straight on what she was quoting. Days later, Jodi had agreed to a compromise to keep our desired price by changing the guest suite to a third car garage. That was the ONLY change discussed. The contract did not include ANY information on the floorplan, options, or finishing’s. After requesting an updated contract with floorplan/options in writing, Jodi resent the contract approved by Novak corporate to our realtor. We then noticed they changed multiple items without discussing with us, such as downgrading our flooring, patio, and other fixtures. They expected me to sign a contract, lying through omission, and then were going to send the spec sheet AFTER I signed. We called Ross to see what could be done to rectify the issue, he stated that he simply did not want to rectify the situation. After our patience was gone from the contract bait and switch, we finally decided to end the process of buying a home through Novak. DO NOT USE NOVAK.

Novak Brothers built our new home in Georgetown. We were delighted with the quality, timeline and most of all, the results. They have a great team in place to work through the process and give you a great deal of flexibility. We highly recommend this company.

Jeff Novak and his team guided us through our first home building experience. Issues and concerns were addressed with focus and effort. Jeff's vision of quality and community were key to both our choice of him as our builder and the successful completion of our home. When a deadline was in jeapordy, both the problem and resolution were well communicated. Problems with subcontractors were handled in a very professional manner. The knowledge and experience of the Novak team was very impressive. Our home had numerous custom features and a large number of unique requests that were all carefully considered and integrated into the final design and build. I would not hesitate to choose the Novak Brothers as my builder in the future.

Novak Brothers Development built us a new custom 4-story Brownstone from design to finish. Excellent customer service experience, excellent service after close, and would do it all over again if I had the chance. I would give them my highest recommendation and trust them to build my next home.

We were so impressed with the quality of craftsman ship of these homes. As a painting contractor and flipper, we know quality. We did not intend to buy when we were looking at homes around the area for some friends, Once we toured the homes, saw the future plans for the development and met with the owners and staff, we couldn't resist. The community will be amazing once completed and this is the place to live.

In 2015 we purchased two homes from Novak Brothers. Both homes are very well made and any issues we have had, which are very few, were taken care of promptly. The units we bought are part of the Brownstone Condo project. About a third( approx. 40) of the planned units are complete. An area for improvement, to get five stars, would be greater involvement by the builder/HOA in communication with the owners. Perhaps informal meetings( coffee with the builder) on a regular( once a month on a Sat.morning) where open discussion would create a much more positive attitude among the owners. Little issues that exist, which could be quickly dealt with, would minimize any unhappy owners and create a positive marketing tool for the builder.

Jeff Novak set out to build a new way of living in Georgetown at Brownstones at the Summit, and that he has. From our very first inquiry as potential buyers, he has maintained the highest level of excellence in customer service.
