This is our second experience with Northwest Granite and Flooring. Both projects have gone extremely well. First was a kitchen and bath remodel with new countertops and sinks two years ago. This year we had new carpet put in our first floor and stairs. What I love about them is they do what they say they will. Both projects were completed in the exact timeframe they said. The workers who came were diligent and very proficient. They cleaned up after themselves. Pricing was very competitive. On our kitchen/bath remodel they were less expensive than two other quotes. They were able to install the sink I wanted—which the two other quotes said wasn’t possible. The carpet price was exactly in line with two other quotes—but their price for moving furniture was much better. We wouldn’t hesitate to do business with them again.

NW Granite & Flooring refaced my new fireplace in three stages: First came the hearth slab, second was the wood trim and third was the tile work which was completed over a small-time frame. Each stage took one day to complete which was done without fuss or disturbance of the household activities. The crews protected the wood floors and cleaned up their work site. The actual design of the layout was done by the owner, as I didn't really know what I wanted. Her choices were spot on and took in the design of the living room and surroundings to complement each other. It was a job well done. I would consider this company for any future work and recommend it to anyone who contemplates this type of tile work. Good job.

The entire process from start to finish was a breeze! We were kept in constant touch with the ladies in the office, and when the guys came to do the floor and counter tops, they told us each step of the process. The installation guys were friendly, professional, and cleaned up at the end of each day! The price and quality were great! I would highly recommend the Crew at Northwest Granite and Flooring for all your flooring and countertop needs!

I sought NW Granite and Flooring after colleagues recommended the company. I stopped by after hours, to view some granite and happen to meet the owner and his wife while outside. Even though, they were already closed, he brought me inside to discuss my granite countertop options, estimate and went over everything. I toured the shop and saw the machines they use, looked at sink options, stone samples the works. I do not live in the area, but they had the granite colors I had been searching for everywhere, and hired them for the job. His son, Tyler, came to my house, did all the measurements, and then I came back to the shop, per my choice, to go over the templates in person and look at the slabs one last time. The 2 guys that came to do the install, were gentlemen, respectful and nice. They did wonderful install. Everyone was so nice, the lady, Shawna, at the shop that handled the scheduling, billing etc, from Tyler, to install guys to Jeremy and Suzette. Not only nice, but they did amazing work, and they all have a wonderful work ethic. Its nice to know that there are still folks out there that are honest, decent, hard working and take pride in what they do. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Counter top in kitchen. Added a bar in kitchen. Bathroom counter and fireplace hearth. I was helped to understand why granite might be my best choice. I was given a list of multiple distributors, so almost unlimited choice in addition to their inventory. Given accurate estimate up front. Always available to answer questions. Extremely easy to work with. Clean, professional, friendly and pleasant to work with. Given a list of my responsibilities. I chose the granite, and it is beautiful. Beautifully installed. Matched seams. I chose a granite from a different distributor. NW Granite picked two slabs up after inspecting the granite for flaws and match. Highly recommend.

Had water damage due to a drain pipe leak. Repairs required for cabinets, flooring and insulation. Because of their reputation for timely and quality work, we called on Northwest Granite & Flooring to assume General Contractor responsibilities. I walked in as an inexperienced remodeler. I found NW Granite & Flooring to be easy to work with & very professional. It was my first experience of a remodel & each person went out of their way to make everything easier. I was very comfortable with the company & would recommend them to other potential clients. I'm extremely pleased with how my countertops, with the waterfall on the island, and the backsplash turned out. I also had a revision made to my appliance garage with the cabinets where I had the "garage" portion removed so I would have more countertop space. They worked with me & their cabinet maker contact. It turned out so nice & I'm very happy with the results & love my extra space! Thank you so much NW Granite and Flooring!

I needed to replace my drop-in kitchen sink. The sink is in a granite countertop. After removing the old sink I found that the new one would not quite fit in the cutout hole. I needed the hole enlarged in the granite. When I called Northwest granite they said they could send someone the next day to fix this. Two guys arrived the next morning and proceeded to enlarge the hole in the granite. They had a vacuum to catch the granite dust. After they finished grinding they placed the new sink in the hole to check the fit. They then cleared up the area. Thank you for a job well done and in a very timely manner.

Shawna at NGF is conscientious and supportive. She helped me find a nice remnant for a small bathroom countertop so I wouldn't have to buy a whole slab. For my kitchen, she helped me find exactly the right countertop. Then it was templated by hand to follow the curve of the sink. When there was a glitch with the application of caulk to my new sink and countertop, she sent her best craftsman Tyler to make sure the problem was corrected to the highest standard. Because of Shawna's professionalism and customer care, I recommend NGF.

I called NW Granite & Flooring after for my stone countertops after losing faith in the big box stores' ability to execute. Home Depot had great prices at face value, but after doing a different project through Home Depot I learned that they are slow, hard to get a hold of, and the main thing is this: when things go sideways, it's hard to fix. I figured a small business would do a better job with customer service, and was not disappointed. They were great all the way through, including taking several of my phone calls, working fast and following through on my short timelines. I'll be working with them again for sure.

I'm no expert at remodeling. All I brought to NW folks was a piece of tile I liked for a new bathroom with walk-in shower. From there, these magical folks came up with a stunning, affordable design that I would never have imagined. They linked me to products that worked together beautifully and the result is magnificent. They also understood how to construct it so that it will last . . without water leaks etc. I highly recommend them for their artistry, technical knowledge and customer service.

My husband and I had never done a project of this magnitude when we remodeled our kitchen. We needed flooring and new countertops. NorthWest Granite & Flooring was highly recommended by my brother-in-law who is in the home building business. Our experience with Jean, who helped us through the process of picking out flooring for our needs, was extremely knowledgeable, super helpful and patient. Shawna was amazing as well. She kept us within our budget and helped us choose a quartz countertop that matched well with our flooring. She even found a way to save us some money on the countertop by doing her own research. Travis came to our house with a state of the art laser measuring devise. My husband and I were mesmerized by the technology and Travis's expertise. Randy completed the floor installation with precision and attention to detail. We certainly were not their biggest clients, but we were treated like we were. I highly recommend NorthWest Granite & Flooring!

We love the look of our new master bath shower! Sarah, at Northwest Granite and Flooring reached out ahead of our appointment to get our ideas of what we wanted. On the day of our appointment, she had samples ready to show and pulled more as we worked through the design. In addition, she found beautiful tiles that fit our design in a price range affordable to us. Tony, our installer, just did amazing work and the final look couldn’t be any more beautiful than it is. In addition to his skill, he was great at communicating his arrival and departure times, checked with us if he had any questions, and left everything at the end of the job cleaned up , nicely. I would highly recommend this company for any tile work you may be looking to have done.

Based on our experience, we think that Northwest Granite and Flooring is the very best place to buy countertops and flooring on or off Whidbey Island! After receiving dismal treatment by the owner of another countertop company on the island, our realtor suggested NW Granite and Flooring. We called and visited their showroom and were treated like VIPs from our very first contact. Sarah is very knowledgeable and followed up regularly to update us. We even got our countertops installed early! Unfortunately, after installation, there was a problem with the material, causing the seam to rise. When we communicated the situation to NW Granite, they responded immediately and even bought special equipment to address our problem. The people and the service at Northwest Granite and Countertops are amazing. We both have businesses, and we understand how important referrals are from satisfied customers. We cannot emphasize enough how exceptional our experience was and how strongly we recommend them! I am an Interior Designer who also teaches at the university level. I have had a lot of experience working with contractors and subcontractors. I decided to try Northwest Granite and Flooring on Whidbey since that’s where the project is located. Generally I work in Seattle. I was absolutely thrilled! It was a seamless project, from measuring for the template to installation. Prices were extremely competitive, and they are full-service. Everyone was professional as well as pleasant to work with. I just can’t say enough positive things about this company.

Northwest Granite was a high point of our large remodel project. They created our kitchen/mudroom countertops and backsplash and fireplace surround. All the staff was very knowledgeable and and very helpful. That included design input that was really worthwhile. The product selection was extensive. Everyone showed up when they said they would-which was important because we were on a tight timeline. The quality of the work was great. There was follow up which went above and beyond anything I could have hoped for - Jerome figured out the new gas fireplace when everyone else couldn't! Without exception, the experience was great and I heartily recommend them.

The brick tile I ordered for my hearth pad was very high quality, reasonably priced, and delivered on time. The staff was very professional and helpful. I ordered a custom shower and counter tops for my kitchen/bathrooms. Update: The shower is now complete and looks great. There was delay due to an injury but they have now finished. There was a cracked tile and they came right back and fixed it. Countertops are going in next week! Update: counter tops are now in and look beautiful! Would use this company again

He is finally healing and is scheduled to finish your job on Monday, which seems reasonable in this industry where people are waiting 3-4 months for completed tile work. Because we have high standards, live on an island, only use skilled local installers, and warranty our work for life, we are often booked solid. We did our best to accommodate you while trying not to abandon other customers' jobs that started before yours, and again I'm sorry if we fell short in juggling this unanticipated situation.

NWG took off laminate countertops in the kitchen and two bathrooms. After my base cabinets were prepared, they installed granite countertops in three sections in the kitchen including a matching 6” granite backsplash and windowsill topper, and single section countertops and matching countertops in the bathrooms. NWG also installed sinks in all three locations. The work was respectful of my desires and goals. They listened to my input and delivered exactly what I asked for with personal touch all the way. The crew was professional, respectful, and very approachable in all aspects of the work from start to finish. The invoicing was detailed and thorough. I am totally grateful for their honesty, integrity, and work ethics. I give my highest praise and full recommendations for NW Granite and Flooring to anyone considering kitchen or bath work. The pros in the North Puget Sound area!!!

We had a carpet installed in the basement. Beautiful carpet. Can not see a seam. All the old carpet was removed in one day. They even helped move a heavy piece of furniture at no charge even though they could have been applied it per the contract. Installers were efficient and very friendly!!

Jeremy and his team at Northwest Granite and Flooring were easy to work with and helped guide me in updating the countertops in my kitchen. He helped guide us in selecting some beautiful granite that looks amazing in my kitchen. Jeremy gave a accurate estimate that was reasonable and within my budget. His team came out and created a template of my old counter tops and the next day was cutting and polishing the pieces. When the pieces were ready, it took only a few hours and they were done and they did a great job cleaning up after. I am very pleased with how it all turned out and would highly recommend Northwest Granite and Flooring.

Jeremy, his son Tyler and all of their employees are professionals and know what they're doing. You can rely on them to spend the prerequisite amount of time to be sure you end up with a product that you are happy with. I've watched them grow over the last few years and they have done an excellent job of upgrading their state of the art CNC machines which cut, route, drill, grind and polish all types of solid surface materials. They also can take care of any flooring needs you may have from hardwood to laminates to tile and stone. Good People!

The tiling installation by this company was substandard and required reworked tile and grout clean-up in all areas. Therre was a lack of attention to detail. The grout used on a portion of the tile work was from a different manufacturer and was a different color than what was originally chosen. This grout was mottled in color. Installation delays, rework and lack of available competent installers caused delays of approximately 4 months past deadline. If you want every scrap of unused tile to be removed from your property, hire this "professional".

I have many lovely pictures of our finished work on this project that are magazine worthy, so I am very surprised to hear of you being unhappy with the final result!! It is wise to not judge any home project until it is totally finished, as the process is messy and has many steps that most people are unaware of (and those aren't shown on HGTV). Our desire is always to leave the customer loving their new floors, showers and countertops. If there is anything within our power to help you be happier, please let us know. There are also misunderstandings I noted in your post, and I respond to or correct them here:
The delays in this project were mostly due to changes in the finalized products, changes in design/layout, etc, which were not under our control. All the other delays were not within our scope of work. Many times (some builders report most times) there are delay in construction. Yes, we had some scheduling issues on this project in the beginning, but please remember that we warranty our work for life, so we will only use skilled craftsmen, and not just anyone off the street. We need to finish the previous clients' projects to their satisfaction before we move to the next. Also remember that installers have families too, and need time off on the weekends, or even during the week to care for a sick child (which was the case in this project). The grout color was changed mid-install, which we accommodated for, but it was the same manufacturer. A slight hazing, efflorescence and color differences in grout can occur on curing grout, as it was not yet finished. We changed the color of the finished grout for you in the entry at no charge, after you decided that the grout chosen was too light. x It is our standard practice to leave all full tiles on-site for you to store for any later emergencies, but there may not have been any to leave, if there were more design changes midstream, in any particular room. Unsightly scraps are either disposed of by our installers for recycling, or by the builder as part of his "whole house clean." No mention was ever made to us to leave the cut scraps, or we would have happily done so for you. We are confident that we did professional, thorough and beautiful work on this project. Again, please let us know how we can help.

Highly recommend. NW Granite has redone our countertops with granite, complete bathroom redo from water damage, and bathroom floor in the other bathroom. Love everything they did.
