OC Builders Group was five star from day 1 starting with Stephanie who answered the phone to Max G who visited to discuss what we wanted done. We had one bathroom shower, waterproofing ceilings and walls, vanity, and new fans and lighting installed; our dryer duct rerouted out of our newly enclosed patio; the master bath shower, fan, and lighting replaced; a new countertop and sink installed in out kitchen. All inspections were done as required. The team including Maria, Eric, Max, Jason, Alex, and all of the plumbers, electricians, painters, and drywall installers did quality work answered our calls and inquiries, and got the job done in 8 weeks from start to finish, and this was with us continuing to live here! OC Builders Group uses WhatsApp to communicate, a perfect way to talk to everyone at one time or whomever was needed to come by or answer a question. We highly recommend this company for any renovations that you want completed for your house or condo.

We are currently at about 90% completion on a major home expansion, and I wanted to share how impressed I've been with the process. Being in the engineering field, I'm admittedly not the easiest client--I pay a lot of attention to the technical details and have very high standards, but OC Builders Group has been incredibly accommodating and professional throughout. The conceptual design phase with Moe was great. He helped us navigate a functional design that included adding to the front of the house, extending the back to significantly increase our kitchen space, and adding a bathroom to one of the rooms to create a master bath. On the execution side, my project manager, Mike, has been fantastic to work with, and Casandra has been a huge help with scheduling and staying responsive to all my questions. It's rare to find a team that is this easy to work with when you're as detail-oriented as I am. I'm really looking forward to seeing the final 10% come together! Thank you OC builders!

This kitchen remodel, flooring, interior paint and garage remodel project was our second project after remodeling our bathroom with OC Builders in May of 2023. From start to finish, OC Builders went above and beyond to deliver top-notch service and quality workmanship. Sade Hurgin was incredibly gracious and organized, making sure every detail of our project ran smoothly. Robert Shaw and Eric Gonzalez brought reliability, integrity and true craftsmanship and professionalism to every step — their attention to every possible detail really shows in the finished product. Maria was a pleasure to work with, always quick to respond and keeping communication clear and friendly. We used OC Builders Group for our total remodeling of kitchen and living room with an exterior expansion and we couldn’t be happier. From the very beginning of our first meeting with Dor and Natalie’s 3D design (which we used to the tee) we were extremely impressed with the quality of work and the construction and hard work of every single member of their team. Our project manager of day to day was Jason who walked us through every detail and put all of our worries to rest. Every single member of OC Builders group were very impressive with so much talent under one roof made our project so much easier. We lived in the front part of the house during the construction and OC Builders Group made sure we had all the necessary electrical and plumbing working so we were comfortable. Shoutout again to Jason & Dor who were awesome and were always available during the entire project. Renato and his son Diego for absolutely beautiful cabinets and Freddy’s team who crafted our countertops and backsplash. I only got through the bidding / estimate portion of the job with OC Builders. They estimated the job before having plans approved and then 6 months later, after getting plans approved, the estimate went up 35% - even though the ADU plans were actually smaller than they had previously estimated. They also retracted what they sold us on during the pre-plan approval estimate - that one of the best parts of working with them was that we'd only have 1 project manager for the entire project (ADU and pool/backyard remodel). Six months later they said they don't do pools, that they used to sub contract them out!! A complete 180 from what they said previously. Very concerning. Beware.

We had a great experience working with OC Builders. Sade was our project manager, He is professional, friendly and very organized with his work. Sade and his team managed the project and were very thorough from start to finish. They genuinly cared to provide the best service to ensure the end result is what we wanted. They communicated with us daily about the project, and readily addressed any questions or concerns if needed. They really set the standards very high for professionalism and work quality. We usually don’t write reviews of services because we expect the best. But we’re so thrilled with our bathroom remodel by OC Builders Group that we have to share our experience. It took a while to realize that our jacuzzi tub from the 90s was taking up too much space in our bathroom. To make room, we had to move the shower to the spot the tub had been. We also went with a curbless shower. We added a towel warmer and a bidet. After looking at many contractors with similar reviews and prices, we chose OC Builders Group partly because Jasmine Roth, one of our favorite designers from HGTV, had used their services on a project. We met with our project manager, Dor Perry, and finalized the project. He suggested we meet with a design consultant, which we were a bit hesitant about since we had already designed the bathroom in our minds. But when we met with Almara, she gave us some great ideas that we hadn’t thought of and even made 3D renderings of the design, which made us even more excited to get through the final inspection so we could actually enjoy our dream bathroom. Dor checked in on the project as it went on and made sure everything was moving along. We were impressed with the overall scheduling, which was made easier because OC Builders Group had their own employees for the different trades. Our construction supervisor, Eric Gonzales, was assigned to our project. He had a team of his guys who were with us from the start until the final inspection and approval. While we can’t remember the names of the painters, plumbers, tile people, or fabricators, we would have to give them all a big shoutout for their professionalism and attention to detail. Two employees, Tony and Christian, who were there a lot, were especially great. They use an app called WhatsApp for all their communications, which really helped keep the job moving along. Adina from the OC Builders Group office sent out a weekly schedule for everyone. It took a while to get the County’s approval to start the job, but we were impressed that all the inspections were scheduled and got done on time. Overall, we were really impressed with the professionalism of OC Builders Group. And we can’t believe how amazing our new bathroom is! Sade was fantastic as our project manager for the kitchen and two bathroom remodel! He skillfully coordinated everything, from design to completion, ensuring a seamless process. First and foremost, if OC Builders said they were going to do something, I slept well at night knowing they would. I cannot overstate how nice it was to never worry if things would get done. We never worried about crews showing up or work being done. People always showed up when they were scheduled to and we were always kept up to date on any scheduling changes. From start to finish, OC Builders Group's communication with us was excellent. There was a daily text sharing the work done that day, the plan for the next day, and the crew's expected arrival time. Any questions or concerns we had were promptly responded to within the group text. Almost without fail, when we sent a text with a question or request, Brianda or Evan would respond within a few hours. It was impressive and an extremely nice experience. Rob and Brian worked with communicating what needed to be done with the crews and were both always willing to answer our questions and brainstorm solutions to the hiccups that come with doing construction. Haim, our project manager, was a DREAM to work with. He always listened to our concerns and made sure they were addressed. It often felt like we didn't even need to fully explain our thoughts because he was so in-tune and just "got it" before we even said anything. Whenever we needed something, Haim made it happen. We would work with Haim again in a heartbeat. When things went wrong, OC Builders was quick to remedy the issue. They were proactive in finding solutions and ultimately always made sure we were comfortable with the resolution. When we wanted things done differently or fixed, OC Builders fixed them without ever pushing back or complaining--no matter how major or minor the issue was. When a delay beyond their control happened, they re-worked the construction schedule and timeline to minimize the impact of the delay and keep things moving. When the paint in the corner of our dining room didn't turn out the way we wanted, they came back to fix it. Overall, we are so pleased with how everything turned out and very grateful that our experience with OC Builders was a positive one--from our first consultation to our final walkthrough.

You always hear about what a nightmare working with a contractor can be. Delays, overcharging, bad communication...the list goes on and on! I went with O.C. Builders primarily because they gave me a list of approximately 20 references to past recent jobs. I talked to 3 random references, and they all had glowing reviews about the company, particularly about the communication with the team. One of the references even invited us over to look at their remodel because they were so happy with the results! O.C. Builders quote was right in the middle of all of the quotes that I had received (roughly $100K for labor...I supplied all material at around $50K). I was not only surprised, I was astonished how smoothly my renovation went with O.C. Builders!! From the very beginning of the quotation phase, to the final touch up at the end of the project, I was totally impressed by the team at O.C. Builders. I am a Real Estate Investor with multiple houses. I have my own fully captured contractor and management company to rehab my houses. I only wish that O.C. Builders was in Indiana where all of my houses are. Haim, Robert, Eric, Lia, Brianda and Evan were my contact points throughout the process and they never left me hanging. I went the self design route, because I know I just would have driven the staff crazy, because I am very particular, especially in my own house. The only delays in the project were because of long lead items, that I ordered, that took longer than expected due to supply chain issues. O.C. Builders quoted a 2 month timeframe and the job would have been done in 6 weeks if all of my tile and furniture arrived on schedule. As it was, the job took a little under 3 months. They worked with my delays without breaking stride, accommodating every delay I threw at them. Their were a couple of change orders, which are inevitable with any renovation job, but they were handled effectively and reasonably priced. I retiled the bottom floor of my 2800 square foot house, refinished the wood floor on the top floor, remodeled the Kitchen and Powder Room, completely remodeled a downstairs Bathroom, replaced carpet on my stairway with wood stairs and had multiple light fixture changed out and added. In conclusion, I would highly recommend O.C. Builders to anyone who is doing the type of renovation that we did. From what I saw, I have no doubt that they are excellent at larger jobs as well. We did look at one of their whole house renovations in progress before we signed the contract. Robert, their in house construction Guru walked us through it. The 3D renderings that I saw in the construction site were impressive and the overall site looked very well managed. Thank you guys for an excellent job!!!

After a rocky start the company bent over backward to give me the home changes I wanted and followed through on all aspects of the job. I initially wanted something that I ultimately could not afford and they worked to get me a workable price for the things I could afford. They sent a team to remove the siding on the front of my house and replace it with new siding. They sent another team to paint the exterior. The painters were terrific. The communication and follow up were excellent. They didn't disappear once the job was done; they sent out a quality check person to meet with me and find out if I was satisfied with the work. I would use them again.

I was so pleased with the quality of work that OC Builders offered me and my family. We renovated our home by adding a 15'x15' extension to the living room, remodeling the laundry room, and remodeling the bathroom. We also poured a new back patio and had numerous upgrades like a new electrical box, new tankless water heater, new lighting, and some new plumbing. Everything that OC Builders touched turned to gold. We contacted and researched about 4 firms before going with OC Builders. I really liked that they are a design-build firm, which means they vertically align their contracts and services into one workflow. You'll get one project manager through the entire process for all points of contact and concern, which is amazing to those of us who value efficiency and personalized support. Our project manager was Dor, and he was with us from the very first in-home visit to a year after the project's completion to ensure everything was taken care of. Dor's approachability, concern, expertise, and level-headedness were constant and the centerpiece of our experience. He effortlessly coordinated and communicated, always ensuring that we were up to date, taken care of, and connected to the team. Their team was amazing, whether it was their assistants in the office, Lia in billing, Alma for her interior design, Robert for specialized work, and more. Even the CEO Evan personally reached out when our project was delayed by a few days to iron out the miscommunication. Talk about quality and teamwork. We worked with Sergio and his super-qualified, friendly team for all of the construction. This team was amazing - they were clean, detail-oriented, and friendly. We had just had a baby and were worried about the dust, noise, etc. Whatever the team had control over, they ensured it impacted us minimally. They left the site construction-clean at the end of each day, sealed off areas of the house that were impacted, and were polite, courteous, and friendly with the family and our kids. My son's favorite pretend-play game for many months after the construction was to walk around the new living room with a PlaySkool hammer asking us to address him as 'Sergio.' Sergio and his top-notch team had that big of a positive impact on us. I think that personality, integrity, and communication are so critical for a big job like a renovation. That's why I'm highlighting the quality of the team and their unparalleled service to us. They really lived up to the one-year guarantee and have come out at no expense to fix two or three minor issues. They really could have fought us to ignore those minor issues, but their commitment to the long-term quality of their construction is obviously central to their business model. In terms of the construction quality, we are very impressed, as are the scrupulous members of our family who expect only the best for us and the little ones. In short, we can't imagine life without our renovation and upgrades. Thank you guys!

This started out to be a difficult job. Plumbing, electrical, drywall, garage door and motor install, with County inspections, all went so smoothly, it was unbelievable. A tenant installed an illegal hair salon in a third car garage during Covid 19. So there was tension and irritation vibes constantly, but no problem for Sade and OC Builders. They kept the pressure on, just the right amount, to push and get the job done. They were professional, on time, did what they said they were going to do and within the time frame promised. You can't go wrong with this company, they are awesome.

When we decided to do an extensive home remodel, we met with about a dozen general contractors to find one that could handle our project and also stay within our budget. After meeting with Moe, OC Builders immediately jumped to the top of our list and they have met our expectations every step of the way. Moe has been doing this a long time and has a lot of examples and ideas that helped in the planning phase; He’s continued to help along the way with anything that comes up and is very easy to talk to. Our project was a complete house remodel with two areas of additions. This included a new and enlarged kitchen, completely renovated bathrooms, expanded new living room with gas fireplace and a defined foyer with a new front door. For many years we heard horror stories about contractors that would inflate costs after construction started, not show up to work when expected -causing long delays, or do work that was low quality and not what was promised. OC Builders gives daily updates and is great at communicating what was worked on and what is coming up. One of the initial things we liked was their team is able to create a 3D design before construction begins to show you exactly what everything will look like when it’s done. This was a tremendous help to allow us to see what works and what needed to be changed before making final decisions. Once the work started we’ve continued to be pleased with all the subcontractors that OCB uses from demo to drywall, plumbing, framing and electrical. You can tell they only choose the best professionals to work with. Robert and Brian oversee the daily work and they are both a wealth of knowledge who ensure that everything moves along smoothly and they are always available to answer questions. The office is also managed very well and Brianda gives great updates each day. After purchasing our new home in Rancho Santa Margarita we knew we needed a major remodel before moving in. We’ve had both good and bad experiences with contractors over the years, and this time we wanted to ensure we found a reputable and high quality contractor. We evaluated several companies and chose OC Builders because of their reputation as a high quality, and well respected company. The reality matched the hype and the OC Builders team kept themselves accountable, calling out issues often before we noticed them. If something was not right, then they would fix it The scope of the project included; repiping, raising floor levels, removing bulky pillars and molding, 4.5 bathrooms, full-kitchen, plus huge bifold doors along the back of the house to open up the space. The transformation is unbelievable and was only possible through a partnership with the OC Builders team. As with any project of this size, there were unknowns along the way. All the small stuff the OC Builders team just rolled with it and made it right. So we only had a couple of examples where we needed to introduce new work. We worked with many different areas of the OC Builders team and everyone was respectful to us, and our home. They probably are not going to be your lowest bid, but they will ensure things are right and you’re happy with their work. The lowest bid does not always end up being the kindest to your budget. So if you have high standards I would recommend you contact the team at OC Builders.

Our project involved turning two bedrooms into one large master with a walk in closet and expanding the master bathroom. Our project manager, Haim was very easy to work with. He was always available when needed and worked within our timeframe. The crew was also professional and paid attention to detail. We are very happy with the remodel. I would highly recommend OC Builders.

Overall, we would not recommend or use OC Builders again. We did a full kitchen and bathroom remodel, with no fixture relocation on either area. So basically just a tear down and facelift. We signed the contract in Feb of 2022. Permits got approved in the beginning of June and demo/work began 3rd week of June. At first everything seemed to go well, but shortly into the project, it became a big headache. Some of the problems we encountered: - Multiple failed inspections with the city, due to lack of basic communication and incompetence. This is very frustrating as it delayed our project multiple times. The lack of communication stemmed from as simple as weatherproofing windows, electrical panels, stucco, each resulting in a separate failure. - When we first interviewed OC Builder, they said they work with crews that have worked with them for a long time so we can trust the quality of the work. However, the crew that was assigned to us have only worked with OC Builders for a short time. That same crew did not know how to do waterproofing of our shower so they had to be let go and a different crew came on board. This caused delays bc that new crew had to demo everything the old crew did. - The lack of cleanliness on the worksite post work day was a big complaint. We had to constantly remind the crew to clean up. After a while we would expect that OC Builders would take the lead and continue to remind the crew. Attempts were made but lackluster at best. There was also some damage done to our floors and dinner table, an annoyance no doubt, to which OC builders did reimburse us for the damages. - We specifically told the tile guy to use a certain grout color and brand and when he did our grout, he decided to use a cheaper grout and had the nerve to tell us that the grout he chose was better. Again, we the client told him what we wanted and he did not do that. - Lack of attention to detail and careless work. Quality seems like a handy man did the work. If looking at completed project, everything looks good. However, close up shows paint job not done nicely, sloppy patchwork, cheap materials (cabinets) were used. Also, our toilet overflowed during construction. When we called a plumber, they showed pictures of bathroom tile from demo in toilet pipe (lack of care when demo). Overall craftsmanship was not up to a certain par with the amount of money that was paid. We feel that the quality would have been the same had we sourced our work to a handy man, doing so we would have saved a lot of money. Now we did address our problems with OC builders during the time of construction and yes, they worked with us and tried to remedy the problems, but overall we were not satisfied with the work that was provided. We believe this project took too long based on how simple it should have been. Understandably things happen during construction that delays projects, but we feel that many of the delays were avoidable and certainly it happened more than once. Bottom line is that we do like our new kitchen and bathroom, but the length it took to get to this level of quality is/was not worth the loss of summer for me and my family.

I'd highly recommend OC Builders (ask for Moe!) They helped us with our complete remodel, specifically helping us navigate the design and layouts to get our master bathroom and kitchen updated. In particular, the 3D design renderings were the most detailed and realistic compared to other contractor's rendering. This helped me and my wife make style decisions with confidence. I highly recommend the OC Builders Group! We did a complete home remodel and we began the process back in August 2021. After interviewing 6 different home renovation companies, we went with @ocbuilders - best choice we could have ever made. Everyone on their team are so professional, courteous, knowledgable, and talented with what they do. Not once did we have to ask the questions, "Where is my contractor?", "Where are the workers today?" or "What is being worked on?" because they would text us daily updates, pictures, and plans of what they would be working on the next day. And if we ever did have any questions or concerns, they would respond in a timely manner. We genuinely feel that they cared about our project and about having everything not only up to code, but also beautifully done. Our home was built in 1899 and so it needed a lot of love. The OC Builders Group repiped & rewired the entire house, all new flooring, new paint, new light fixtures, new moldings in certain places, leveling, new doors, reworked the layout of all 3 of our bathrooms, created a mudroom and a laundry room, created a master closet and bathroom, and removed two walls to create our open concept kitchen! Every square inch of the inside of our home was worked on by them. It consisted of months of planning, design meetings, and then waiting for permits and once everything was approved, it was only 4 months of construction (because @ocbuilders are AMAZING and have an incredible team) and we finished construction last month. I'd like to add that I was pregnant and later had the baby during this entire process and because of OC builders Group, I was not stressed at all because I knew they had everything covered and our best interests at heart. We could not be more stoked with the results and feel that the process was so easy with the OC Builders Group. Moe was our head contractor and he was incredibly communicative, hands-on, and so wonderful to work with. Luis was the man who was here everyday and he was incredibly knowledgable, professional, and does top-notch work. Robert was very detail oriented and cared about the work and us understanding what was being done. This is now our DREAM home and we are so humbled and thankful to live here! No question, for our next renovation, we will be using the OC Builders Group again because it was that great of an experience of working with them.

Working with OC Builders Group has been amazing. We hired them to do 3 bathrooms remodel and an office room conversion. And we were very happy with the work that Haim, John, Eric, Lia, and the rest of the team did! They worked very hard every day, ensuring that the project finishes in time, which was very critical for us as we are expecting our first child. In fact, they finished earlier than their original estimation! The team is very easy to work with, and always so responsive either via chat or phone. And the fact that they handle everything in-house from designer, plumbing, electrical, etc makes the process very simple, especially since this is our first time remodeling our house. I highly recommend OC Builders for any remodel/new construction you are considering. We did a complete interior and exterior remodel and everything turned out better than expected. This was our first remodel and I had heard horror stories about working with contractors so I was prepared for delays/issues. But OC Builders proved otherwise as the process was easy and smooth. We used OC Builders for both our bath remodels. They used qualified contractors who were very respectful to our home. They were always at the job site to be sure things went smoothly. Moe and Eric were great to work with and I would recommend them highly.

After talking to 5 potential contractors, we hired OCB for design, build and project management services that included our exterior cladding and complete interior ground floor remodel. This involved replacing the exterior wood siding with fiber cement, replacing our entry door and installing accent lights; removing a structural wall between our dining room and kitchen, redoing our entire kitchen including the addition of a new island and cabinets; updating our fireplace; removing a wetbar and converting the space to a new steam shower and pantry/closet; and updating our powder room. We are extremely happy with the final results! Our project manager, Moe, was the key to our project’s success. He was engaged from beginning to end and was a readily available contact person - much appreciated throughout but most especially when we had critical decisions to make or issues to resolve. The design captured the modern aesthetic that we wanted and the build mirrored the design so closely and beautifully that you would mistake it for a rendering. The pictures speak for the quality of workmanship, which is ultimately what matters the most. We would highly recommend OCB to anyone looking to do a remodel.

We used OC Builders for our complete kitchen Reno and replacing floors, baseboards, crown mounding throughout the entire house. The process was smooth and having OC Builders manage the project ensured we had quality contractors and workers on the job, and allowed us to be as involved (or uninvolved) as we wanted to be! OC Builders Group and their team were outstanding! We worked with them on our complete kitchen remodel (knocked down a wall, moved appliances, new heated flooring, new cabinets, etc.) as well as some updates that made our sunroom into a much more functional office space. They include a designer in our work together, Almara-- she was extremely responsive and knowledgeable and helped us find the best products at the best value. It was comforting to know we had a go-to person to help us throughout the process. We got 5 quotes in the year prior, and when we met Moe, we knew he was our guy. He was patient with our questions and extremely transparent about cost/budget. He was honest with us about scope and what their quote would cover. We worked with OCBG for our kitchen remodel, which included moving the kitchen to a different location in the house, transforming the existing kitchen into a dining room and closets, and relocating the laundry. From our first meeting, we immediately were impressed with them. Moe and Gustavo came that day and they both listened to our needs and what we were thinking. They explained the process and what we could and couldn't do. What I liked is that they explained things according to the cost, which was very important to us. They gave us a quote and stayed within that quote for the entire job, which we loved. They were also very open to our ideas and tried to look for the best solutions when a problem arose. Our foreman was Manuel. He and his crew were great. They were efficient and clean, which was really appreciated since we were living in the house while the remodeling happened. They left the area clean before they left and put away anything that could be dangerous for our kids. They all realized from the beginning that I was picky and knew what I wanted so they were super patient and always asked me before doing something. I'm also visual so they tried to always show me how it was going to look before they finished it. Again, these guys were so patient! As you can see in the pictures, our backsplash is a big statement in our kitchen. Susano the guy that did the tiles was very detail oriented and didn't mind that I was hovering over him looking at everything, the end result is so perfect. Overall, we had a really positive experience, everyone was great to work with and they were really fast problem solvers. We also had a couple of issues arise and they were here within a few minutes fixing it, even on a Sunday and evenings. This was our first big remodel in our fixer-upper and couldn't be happier with the result and the experience.

We hired OC Builders Group to do a total remodel of the kitchen and master bathroom in our house. Worked specifically with Moe as a project manager, Sergio as foreman, and Almara as the designer. The scope of our project greatly increased after the demolition as the crew discovered that the old plumbing in the house was in very poor condition, so we decided it's time to re-plumb the whole house and replace the water heater. The bathroom itself required some customization of the vanity to make it fit. Overall the project became more complex and difficult than originally scoped. All that said, the end result is amazing, with new plumbing and a gorgeous kitchen and bathroom that the whole family loves, enjoys using, and that elevates our house. This was possible due to the dream team of Moe and Sergio. They were my partners through the whole project, with frequent communication, incredible responsiveness, dedication to craft and quality, attention to detail and perfectionists in a good sense, effective problem solvers, and personable and a pleasure to work with. They are the best at what they do. Almara is a super talented designer too, and her initial vision was key to the outcome. We plan to do more house remodeling in the future and would hire them again without question.

We worked with OC Builders Group for our modest galley kitchen and bathroom remodel. We first met Gustavo who was our project manager, and from the beginning we felt an immediate connection and trust which is very important when undergoing big house projects. Gustavois very easy to talk to but also realistic. We knew what kind of design we wanted and color scheme, but we still needed much guidance, and for that we worked with Almara for which we are thankful. Once we got the permits the work started. The entire process from start to finish was pretty efficient. If we didn't like how something was done and wanted something to be re-done, touched up, etc the workers were always accommodating which makes us the customer very happy. Gustavo kept us updated on what was going on so we were kept in the loop. The workers wore masks and did Covid-precautions. They actually finished about 2 weeks ahead of schedule which was great. The overall finished product was up to our standards. We are loving our new kitchen and bathroom. If we have any future projects we would definitely use them again!

We met with OC Builders Group and we were fascinated when they showed us there past projects of kitchens and bathrooms. After our meeting with them, we went to see their current projects and then decided to hire OC Builders Group for our kitchen and two kids bathrooms remodeling project. We wanted to have a large open space that can also be used as an entertainment center with a large kitchen where we can host all of our friends, family and guests who visit our house often. Their ideas and recommendations were totally to the point. Moe understood our vision very fast and after he showed us what he would like to do with the potential space, we fell in love with that and we signed the contract. Moe was able to merge the kitchen into the floor space and now that the kitchen is finished, it has become the best kitchen to spend time in like we have never had before. The kitchen was finished on time and in stunning fashion. We also remodeled the two kids bathrooms at the house and they also came out much nicer than we imagined. Five stars is not enough to show how satisfied we were with OC Builders Group. I am a product designer and have to admit that I am a very picky and detailed person. Throughout the entire construction, Gustavo and the entire working team were very understanding and flexible with me. It seems they are working on their own house. Our remodeling was kind of a big job. The whole process was not easy but they supported us at every stage and every corner of the project such as meeting with the architect and inspector, finding the right materials and so on. OC Builders Group performed a Substantial remodel of our 3500 sq ft home. Major components: adding 550 sq ft master BR above garage and seamlessly tying it to existing upper floor; removal of 3 load bearing columns on middle floor and substituting longer, bigger dimension wooden beams for existing exposed beams which had depended on the columns; expanding kitchen and nook by about 65 sq ft by moving exterior wall and then completely redoing kitchen. OC Builders Group was honest, straightforward and easy to work with and talk to. Together with the crew, they kept very good records and had a very logical, clear system for project status and change orders. We were happy with all the crew's choices and suggestions, and they took responsibility for their work. Moe had a good attitude toward the role of a project manager -- we are all working toward the same goal-- and there were no construction related delays.

My wife and I hired OC Builders Group to do a garage conversion and a bathroom remodel. We are thrilled with the results. OC Builders Group completed a full kitchen remodel a few weeks ago and we couldn't be any more happy and satisfied with the process and results. After getting many quotes for remodeling our 1960's kitchen and dining room (including transforming a storage closet in the back of the house to a laundry facility), we met Moe and our search stopped. He was so respectful and listened to all of our hopes and concerns and made some great suggestions in the moment. He sent us an estimate within a few days and after chatting again, we signed and started the project. His team was incredible from the start to the very last day on the project; they showed up each morning with a smile, were completely respectful of our things and space and made sure everything was covered and clean when they left. There were a few unexpected things that surfaced as the area was demoed and Moe would let me know and then he'd present a few solutions for us to choose from within 24 hours and we'd keep everything moving. He stayed exactly within the projected timeframe and also within the estimate he gave us...even with the unexpected challenges! Moe was very present during the project and also came with us to pick out our countertops and other fixtures we needed; he was always available to answer any questions. And his team Luis, Sergio and Hector are a total dream team; all are specialists/artisans in their own right and we so appreciate the care and pride they all took in their work. One of the first things Moe said to us in the consultation was that they wouldn't leave the job until we were absolutely satisfied. When the kitchen was finished, we walked through and he asked us to really look at everything closely and to give him a list of any details we felt needed finishing, if any. We only had a few touch-ups and adjustments but most of all, we were impressed that Moe and OC Builders were truly committed to finishing the job exactly the way we wanted. Exactly. And they did -- and our kitchen is just stunning - and we will be calling them again soon.

OC Builders Group helped us totally reimagine our master bathroom which previously only had a tiny walk in shower and no tub. OCBG were the only contractors I met who proposed taking out part of the closet to create more space in the bathroom, making use of the second window previously lost in the closet and making space for a hidden toilet nook and the difference is just incredible!!!Now we can take a shower with the window open and enjoy the bay breeze on our face as we stand under the water! The team installed a heated floor for us and a large niche with two levels in the shower so we could easily place soaps, etc! They even used our existing swinging bathroom door to create a pocket door which gave us more room in the bedroom. They were friendly, easy to work with and responsive and came to me proactively with suggestions.

We had OC builders remodel our restroom and we choose them because our initial impression with Dor was very professional and friendly. They are very thorough in the remodel processing, including keeping us updated through the whole project. Our project supervisor Eric was very helpful and went out of his way to suggest items we were missing for the project. The workers were also very professional, respectful and cleaned up after their work everyday. We would use them again for future projects.

They got us custom cabinets, had a wonderful (and complex) tile backsplash put in as well as a beautiful countertop. Bathroom Remodel with Moe, Luis & Sergio. My wife and I are very satisfied with the work that Sergio & his team were able to complete in a relatively short period of time (~2 months from start to finish). Moe, the lead project manager at OC Builders Group takes point on the project with high energy and conviction to bring the best product possible to life. As plans changed throughout, he took them in stride and really worked hard to partner with us. The pictures speak for themselves -- was that Poseidon filling the tub? Is that now a skylight in the fully enclosed glass steam shower? Luis has the skills to do most anything on site. The quality and amount of tile work done, we have to give Sergio credit where credit is due! Happy buyers over here. Quality work at very fair prices.

We chose OC Builders Group to do a complete remodel of our kitchen and to re-do two bathroom floors. We chose them over three other general contractors based on their reputation, cost and timeline of their bid and on our initial interactions with Dor, who was our project manager. From start to finish, Luis ensured his crew kept our house as clean as possible and caused as minimal disruption to our lives as possible. Really can't say enough good things about Luis`s work ethic and attention to detail. A++. Dor always supported Luis throughout the project, ensuring ample time to complete (and fix) all aspects of the job up to a standard we found acceptable. We had several small items that weren't right with the cabinets we selected, and Dor continually facilitated getting things right. The overall cost did end up higher than first estimated, but Dor did warn us in advance of the possibilities of certain things costing more, so that was appreciated. The schedule was very close to the initial estimate, no complaints there. Overall, very pleased with OC Builders Group, Dor, and Luis, and would definitely work with them again.

Gutsavo and OC Builders Group were eager to take up the job and were able to walk us through the entire process. OC Builders helped us remodel our master bathroom and were very helpful throughout the entire process. They provided us with a couple of estimates as we adjusted the project, as well as a few rounds of design revisions. The work went very quickly for the demo and build process. The team at our house was very nice, professional, and skilled in what they do. When it came to the finishing work, Moe, Daniel, and Evan were helpful in picking out finishes as well as ensuring the work was to the standard we expected. Any time there was something off, they would send someone over to fix it until we were satisfied with the work. This was above and beyond the expectations we had, as well as the experiences we've had in the past. The only real issues we had were how long it took to get the project started and the finishing work taking a few weeks longer than expected. OC Builders was happy to take the feedback we gave them and was more than willing to work to make sure we were happy with the work. I would definitely work with them again.

My wife and I worked with Moe, Evan, and Luis, on our full house remodel. From the beginning of the project, Moe and his team did a great job communicating and being very detailed in the scope of work. We just finished our addition (added our master bedroom and bathroom) and I could not be more pleased with the OC Builder team… b/c of COVID my husband and I along with our two littles lived in the house the entire time virtually learning and working, this team went above and beyond to keep our home clean and our project on time. Garage conversion with total of 388 sq ft. Tal was involved in the whole process and explained every step of the way. Planning, architect, blue prints, revisions, 3D rendering, city permit, revisions and finally construction. Then handed over to Evan and Daniel overseeing the construction along with construction foreman Nick. On site almost daily and knows his stuff. Definitively a challenging project with only 388 sq ft to fit a bedroom, bath, kitchen and living room. The end result is spacious, open and welcoming home. Plumbing was another big item since it had to be connected to the main house's street and not the garage street. They figured it out and made it work. Appliances and side gates pictured not included in the scope. They did a great job and so glad we chose OC Builders. Highly recommended! We are planning to have them work on our main house soon.

We used OC Builders Group for a master bedroom/bath remodel. We previously used a different company for a kitchen and loved them but when that owner retired, we looked around and found OC Builders Group. Gustavo came out for initial measurements and discussion. Everyone at the company is fantastic, but Anna is just amazing. She is super responsive and has nice taste. We used their connections to buy tile and fixtures. We actually got bathtub and vanities from Costco (and of course they installed them). I was particularly impressed with electricians, painters, and tile guys. Our entire electrical panel needed to be rewired due to the builder's bad design behind the false wall. The tile guys were meticulous. The painters did an amazing job and it was perfect. I know a fair amount about construction, and I watch anyone I hire like a hawk. They did not try to cut corners or do shady work. There were times where the scheduling could have been better communicated but I think that is with any type of construction work.

I can confidently say OC Builders Group was a cut above the competition because the other bids (we talked to over 10 contractors) had significantly longer timelines, told us certain aspects of the project would not be possible (or within budget), and told us there was no way we could stay in the house during construction. OC Builders Group kept us in the house with minimal disturbance, finished on time / on budget, and made the whole process rather enjoyable. It was clear throughout that OC Builders Group has a very experienced and cohesive team. From design, to engineering, to permitting, to foundation work, to all the other crews, everything was seamless. In the 5 months of work, there were virtually zero non-productive days. Anna there designer turned our vague interior style preferences into a coherent plan, developing all kinds of options we hadn't considered, sourcing the finishings, and ultimately creating a space that we love. I'm very pleased with the work completed by OC Builders Group. We just finished our kitchen remodel and Gustavo was our first point of contact and he was able to address all our concerns and help us make the right decisions regarding costs and design. Super courteous and professional. Then came all the work done in the house, the guys are super polite, and always willing to answer all my questions (I had many). We had a few bumps in the process and few minor changes had to be made along the way, but they were always quick and willing to address any concerns and fix any mistakes that may have happened. Several people were working here, but I was especially pleased with Joes`s craftsmanship, he works fast, focused and all his work is impeccable. Phillpe, who's attention to detail is fantastic and he took care of those minuscule details in corners and edges and made sure all looks smooth and well finished.

Remodeling is supposed to be terrible. It's dirty and inconvenient- contractors are supposed to be fodder for why it sucks. Unless you do your project with OC Builders Group. This was the most incredible remodel experience of my life. On time, under budget, and with virtually no mess. They were like my partners in crime - they have impeccable taste and went over every detail with me. I was traveling for a big chunk of this project - and he kept me totally in the loop and I never worried once. The crew are respectful and fun and I never had a mess to deal with. They took our dark, dank 1990's odd to Oak and turned it into a show stopper. They guided me to make smart choices to keep me on budget.

We worked with OCB to do a major kitchen and bath remodel. This was much more than a kitchen refacing and more of a complete tear-down and rebuild of half a floor in our house. From the start, OCB gave us a very clear and professional bid. This made it easy for us to digest the project and begin the process of this huge undertaking. We did get several bids and OCB was in line with the other bids we received. However, from the start, OCB was the most professional and prompt to have these initial (and daunting) conversations with. Along with the bid, OCB gave a very detailed and clear timeline. This also made living in the house very manageable and also gave us an excellent roadmap of what to expect. The project finished more or less on time and within the expected budget. The crew showed up on time every day when they said they would. Also, The project manager was very much available throughout the project and was NEVER hard to get a hold of. OCB also steered us in the right direction in terms of the best vendors to work with. In terms of finish work, it is absolutely gorgeous! OCB has a great attention to detail and ensures that the final product will be nothing other than a dream to live with. We have been beyond thrilled to have our kitchen.

"OC Builders Group was the first company we contacted after searching on Yelp. The initial meeting with Gustavo was tough for him because we truly didn't know what we wanted. He encouraged us to meet with other companies to have a fair comparison. After interviewing 5 others, we narrowed down to OCB and another one. We were leaning toward the other company more at first simply because they were more aggressive. However, as we researched and interacted with both more, we realized Gustavo From OCB was more honest and straightforward to work with. He communicated and understood us better and made us feel that every project is important to them regardless of the size. Due to bad past experience with contractors and the whole pandemic, we were extremely nervous and skeptical. we decided to pull the trigger to go with OCB and that was the best thing that could happen for us during the terrible year of 2020. Our remodeling project was for the entire first floor. We wanted to relocate our kitchen to the dining area, remove a load-bearing wall to create open concept, use living room as new dining, use old kitchen as new living room, change the old humongous brick fireplace into something nicer, put in new flooring, and scale up the powder room, and put in 5 new construction windows. The estimate was 2-3 months for the project and everything completed in 2 months and 3 days. The crew worked super hard and fast. 7:30AM sharp on the first day and they were at our place. I thought it would take a few days to clear things out but nope. They moved everything into the garage for us, demolished everything in just HOURS. You can tell those guys have done remodeling for so long that they got the entire process in place. They put in a temporary sink for us, put up tarps with zippers on our upper floor to keep the dust out, they cleaned up after themselves every single day before leaving.... Just amazing. Moe was the project manager. We also had a designer to create drawing and 3D rendering for us. Our city permit was all handled seamlessly by them. We had a structural engineer, a foreman and his daily crew of plumber/electrician/flooring/etc., a supervisor to oversee the daily operation. It was a big team designated for our project and that's how everything went so smoothly. When Moe said at the beginning that his goal was to make me happy, it was not a marketing fluff. He really meant it. Moe always made sure things would look nice. Beside things that we asked, there were lots of things that he decided to do extra for us without us even thinking about it. He would not do things just to get it done and checked off from the contract. Luis, our foreman, was the same way. He would correct little things here and there to make it look nice for us. We worked with OC Builders to remodel our kitchen. The experience was really wonderful! Our project manager Moe Gispam made the whole process incredibly easy. It started with the design phase. They were very easy to work with, and brought in a really skilled designer to help us bring our vision to life. They were also very patient as we went through several iterations of the design. Once the work commenced, the process went very smoothly. They sectioned off that part of the house, took care of all the permits, and they sent us a nightly updates including photos. It was a very great way to be in touch every step of the way. The various workers for the different trades were also a pleasure to work with. They were conscientious of us and our space. They worked at an incredible pace without the work quality suffering. Overall the process went a lot quicker than we anticipated. These guys really went above and beyond for us. My wife and I just finished a small 40 sq ft addition, covered porch and complete kitchen remodel. We had them change wiring a few times, add some lights that weren't part of the original plan, etc. Our project manager was with us every step of the way - he'd respond to every request within a few minutes and always took care of everything we needed. My favorite thing was the daily updates, where they would explain what they did that day with photos and what they were going to do the next day, The process was so transparent! The Designer and the Project manager were both a pleasure to work with. They were both very personable and they really know what it takes to remodel a home. One of the reasons we decided to go with OC Builders Group is because they made us feel safe and secure while working on our house during the pandemic. They wore masks and followed the necessary guidelines. We were glad we did, because they did a remarkable job in remodeling our kitchen. We love our solid wood maple cabinets, pearl white countertop, and beautiful ceramic tile. In fact, we liked their work so much that we had them remodel the rest of the house, including three bathrooms, three bedrooms, living room, and laundry room. When you have your house remodel, it can be a very difficult time. But Moe and Evan made our life less stressful. When choosing a contractor to complete the renovation work to our new home, I diligently examined reviews, bids and any other available materials before making my final selection. I believe I met/spoke/received bids from about 7-9 contractors. While not the lowest bid nor the highest, I ultimately decided to go with OC Builders because of my initial meeting and secondary follow up meeting with Moe. I found that Moe was consistent and detailed. When undertaking such a large project I felt comfortable with his accessibility and responsiveness. Our family is expanding, so we decided to expand our house by adding two rooms to our house. We contacted OC Builders Group, as they are nearest to our home, and they delivered! Not only did they help us design, plan and build these two rooms, they also made sure it all fit our budget! And the best part? The whole transformation caused us no stress! I can highly recommend!!

We live in an older home in Anaheim Hills, so there have been some big renovations needed in the house and I am so happy that for our largest renovation, our Kitchen, we went with OC Builders Group. Starting with our initial meeting they set themselves apart from the rest (we met with 5 other contractors so we had lots to compare!). Moe spent the time walking around our kitchen, taking measurements and further doing his due diligence to see if the wall that we wanted to remove would be potentially load bearing or not. The entire kitchen design was his idea. We had a unique set up, so it was not easy to figure out where the fridge could go, and he came up with beautiful plans and ideas for us. Beyond that first day and really every meeting from that point was above and beyond. He spent over 2 hours with us at the tile store to help us with our back splash, which we would have never gone in that direction, and it's my favorite feature in the kitchen. There isn't one person that doesn't come in and immediately comments on how amazing our backsplash is. All thanks to Moe and OC Builders Group. Further, Every single worker they had at our house was respectful and so friendly it was a joy rather than nerve racking to have all these strangers in our house. They were very respectful of dust and dirt, especially knowing we have two dogs. The entire process was exceptional, from communication, to constant updates, to the overall outcome. Lastly and really so important is that from the signed contract of what this project would cost us, we did not spend one single cent above what was negotiated. Even the estimated numbers he gave us that was our responsibility (tile, etc) he was very accurate on that as well making it nice that even in this large renovation that included a wall removal there was never a time he came back telling us something wasn't going to cost more. The quality of their work is exceptional, and their professionalism is top notch. I cannot say enough about how great they are. I highly recommend them for your next remodel.

We had a GREAT experience with OC Builders Group!!! We used them for our kitchen remodel and were extremely happy with the workmanship and professionalism. We had our bathrooms done prior to meeting them and it was a totally different experience....Not that our past experience was bad but a lot different when you have play contractor and homeowner at the same time. OC Builders Group is a ONE-STOP shop! They do EVERYTHING!! It took away a lot of unnecessary stress. We provided a design that we were aiming for and they accomplished it 100%! Our kitchen was TOTALLY outdated and tremendously small. 3 people in our kitchen at the same time was not feasible, it was a nightmare for someone who loves to cook. Now it's AMAZING!! Just completed my renovation with OC Builders Group and I couldn't be happier!!! When I started this journey to renovate my entire 1100 sq ft. condo, I asked a few friends if they would recommend their contractors and they either said "no" or hesitated to give me an answer. I ended up taking my chances on the web and interviewed 5 contractors. When I met Moe, I immediately had a good vibe about him. And while all 5 contractors were contenders, my instincts were telling me that he would be the best to work with. Well, my instincts were absolutely spot-on!!! Moe is THE BEST!! He estimated about 3 months for my condo and completed the project on time. I had moved out during the remodel so Moe was there almost everyday checking up on his workers and the progress. His communication on the progress was excellent! He continuously kept me informed either by text, phone or in person. He would send me pictures (or even videos) during the day on some of the work...even while I went on vacation for a week. He also made me feel comfortable to ask questions, requests and changes. He helped suggest a couple of things based on his own experience. Sure, unexpected issues came as with any remodel. We were looking to add a guest house to our home and after consulting with several contractors, OC Builders Group stood out the most amongst all of them. They showed professionalism, craftsmanship, and style. We are a very particular couple so we knew we needed a company that would understand us on what we were looking for. Finding a good, honest contractor can be a daunting task. So when I found Builders Group online and due to all their good reviews I decided to get a bid from them for a master bathroom remodel. Initially Mike sent Natalie to discuss suggestions and recommendations for our remodel. Natalie is an experienced/certified interior designer and she came up with some very good ideas. With the information we discussed and agreed upon she would share it with Mike to provide a bid on a second appointment. When I met Mike on the second appointment he was very thorough and the bid was well prepared. Mike sticks to the construction schedule and keeps good communication during the project and is well organized. Furthermore, the quality of the work is outstanding. Our master bathroom remodel came out so amazing. I would highly recommend OC Builders Group.

We recently had the pleasure of working with Evan and his team on the remodel of our Master bathroom. This was a small project compared to the many others OC Builders Group is completing, but we never once felt like we received any less attention. From the beginning, we emphasized to Evan the importance of completing the project as quickly as possible and he took it to heart, finishing the project on time and on budget in a quick three weeks. Evan went out of his way to accommodate us: starting the project the week we were on vacation to minimize the disruption, building an airtight plastic hallway to contain the dust from demolition, picking up the building materials and finishes we ordered from all around Orange County, etc. Evan was beyond responsive, answering text messages and emails with phone calls - often within minutes. Whenever any unexpected issues arose, Evan resolved them quickly and professionally. We remodeled our house a few years ago and had a bad experience with the general contractor; Evan restored our faith in GCs and we couldn't be happier with the final result.

If I could give more than 5 stars to Moe and OC Builders Group would! My wife and I needed a last minute remodeling of two bedrooms and two bathrooms and to get it done in under 90 days before our baby arrived. I was impressed by OC Builders Group 5-star rating and website so reached out to him and 3 other contractors we found on the web. From Day 1, Moe stood out. He was the first to respond, visited us the next day, was very genuine and knowledgeable. His quote was comparable to others and he demonstrated the most passion for wanting to do work that makes us happy. Throughout the project Moe personally went above and beyond for us, as we were not in town for most of the work, he often went to pick up various products and fixtures, researched for us, and was always very responsive and kept us in the loop. The project completed on time despite complexities of a condo board and we are so happy. We'll definitely work with Ofir again. After researching online, we met with 4 different contractors in September before deciding on OC Builders Group to remodel our master bathroom. Even though the estimates were comparable, we immediately liked Dan and his approach. Since we had never done a remodel before, we didn't know what to expect but Dan was always available to answer questions and provide helpful information. There were definitely snags along the way but Dan and Ben made sure to resolve them and reassure us they would not leave until we were completely satisfied with the job. When we were not happy with how the floor grout color(That we chose) came out, they offered to redo the entire floor(With no additional charge) which is what we did and the end result was great! They even took care of other small jobs in the house (aside from the master bathroom) that we needed done which we really appreciated. Jose there Team-Leader and his Team are also fantastic...very professional, respectful and left everything clean at the end of the day. We absolutely love our bathroom and would highly recommend OC Builders Group to anyone looking for a quality remodel!!

We hired OC Builders Group for a very significant job involving gutting down the kitchen, bathrooms and changing the front facade of the house, attic insulation etc. it took 5 days over the quoted time. Reasons for the overage include our inexperience being first time home owners, not knowing what to expect or understanding the timelines. OC Builders Group came about 15% more expensive than others but their contractor Moe seemed to have a great vision. So we went with them. Nature of construction is such that you'll see lots of unforeseen hiccups: they will tear open a ceiling and find there's some joist that needs work; many contractors will charge you and issue a change work order. OC Builders Group and Moe didn't do that. They had some electrical work they didn't anticipate upfront because the city inspector insisted on some changes. OC Builders Group just made it happen - I've heard about cost overrun nightmares from some others and I'm dealing with shoddy work from a different contractor but OC Builders Group came through - what they said on contract, they delivered. A learning: As with most things in life you'll run into hiccups. Nothing in life is perfect and if any review tells you so, be skeptical! What you should ask yourself is on the balance did things turn out good and are you happy? If the answer is yes, then be thrilled. A case in point example is we thought we'd get some garage drywall that didn't happen. To be fair, it wasn't on contract. BUT, OC Builders Group gave us a double pane window and sized up the window just because we didn't like what we originally had - that wasn't in the contract either, but they just made it happen. So instances where there's customer delight like that stay with you. Thus, on the balance, it was all good.

A few things to say about OC Builders and Moe. I never asked, but Moe was ALWAYS updating me with day to day updates during the remodel. It was great! I felt so invested and learned so much about the remodeling business. Although it does cost a lot of money, there are many benefits to remodeling your home. Just depends on if you are willing to invest in it. You also have to remember how long something like this will last you. So overtime, the investment will end up paying back! Plus you’ll have a newly remodeled home in the process. Definitely recommend.

We needed a Pergola/Patio cover installed over our back deck and arranged for OC Builders to come by our home for an estimate. I had some general markings around the deck and on the exterior of the house for the dimensions I was looking for. Moe arrived and stayed with us for a long while. I asked many questions and had a bunch of nit-picky design requests. He assured us that all of my concerns would be addressed and was able to give us a quote before he left. It took the 2 man crew only about 3 (non-consecutive) days to complete the job. I was surprised at how much got done at the end of each day. The entire job was done by the end of the week. They were friendly, timely, answered all my questions and honored a drawing that I had created that called for specific design details. Although a structure like this isn't too complicated as far as home remodeling is concerned, the guys did very good work and did it quickly. Our new Pergola looks just as I had drawn it out and my wife and I are very happy. If you need a Pergola/Patio cover, we'd definitely recommend OC Builders Group .

So far OC Builders and our head contractor, Moe, have done an amazing job on our open concept kitchen remodel. And we are not easy customers! We had load bearing walls removed, beams placed within the ceiling, concrete footings poured under the house, our hardwood floors seamlessly matched to run from the living room into the kitchen, drywall on the walls and ceiling is perfectly flat, and all has gone smoothly. Meanwhile we are still living in the house so they sealed off the rest of the house with zipper entry doorways, and the dreaded dust that we were so afraid of has been kept to a minimum. They are even sticking to their budget and timeline. I’ve been warned these days that is not to be expected! We should know because we have experienced the worst with other contractors. So I feel the need to shout off the mountain tops how awesome these guys are. We can’t wait to see the finished product!

We decided to do a tub to shower conversion in our condo to make it easier for us to get in to take a shower. Didn't need any fancy so we thought it should be a small job, not realizing that anything involving a tub/shower remodel is usually the most complicated part of any bathroom remodel. We got quotes from four different vendors and we chose OC Builders Group to do the remodel. The lead on the project, Evan, spent over an hour going over the whole scope of the project and gave us a quote that was very reasonable. He personable and you can tell he has been doing this for a while. Throughout the whole project, he kept us updated at each stage and responded quickly to any texts I sent him. We liked the fact that they preferred that permits be pulled to ensure that the project is done properly and in compliance with the HOA's requirements. The crews were really good about complying with the rules of the HOA for a 9 am start time and give 48 hour notice prior to any water shutoff. All the members of the crews were polite and were fairly prompt each day. The project took longer (About 4 weeks) because of the HOA rules and if you live in the City of Huntington Beach , you will spend about six days just waiting for inspectors to sign off on different stages of the remodel, during which no work is performed. The crews did fantastic work starting with the plastic floor to ceiling walls they setup to keep the spread of dust from covering our master bedroom and the rest of condo. They also laid down ram board on the pathways on the floor in our place and in the hallway to protect them from any damage. From the demo, framing, plumbing, hot mop, lathing, cementing (2x), tile work, to the installation of the glass doors, everything was done really well with a lot of attention to detail. Ben came in after each stage to check on progress of the work. We also like the fact that payments were made after each stage of the job and everything spelled out clearly in the contract. The finished job looks fantastic, way beyond what we imagined. Evan was good in recommending some nice touches like using the pebble tile for the floor and the niches and the brush metal trim on the edges of the tile. The frame less shower door is very slick. If you are looking for a contractor for a bathroom remodel who takes pride in doing quality work and performs it in an 100% professional manner, you can't go wrong choosing OC Builders Group.

When we bought our new house we knew it was going to need a bit of remodeling (who wants kitchen tile in the living room?). We talked to several contractors, but Moe from OC Builders clearly knew his stuff. It was the best decision we could have made. OCB had experts for every specialty, and they all did great work: Susano for the tile; Jose, Raul painting; but the carpenters Tony and Jesus in particular were outstanding. I don’t get to use the word “craftsmanship” often these days, but they brought it. Every little detail got taken care of, including one or two surprises that we hadn’t anticipated. Then halfway through the remodel we discovered serious water damage underneath the balcony. The balcony needed to be replaced, along with an entire the wall of the garage. Moe knew exactly what needed to be done, and brought in Tom and his crew Edgar and Jessie. They took out all the rotten wood and rebuilt everything, including comprehensive waterproofing (and sloping the balcony so the water now runs off the front instead of pooling near the house – why wasn’t that done from the beginning?). We still have more work to do, and these are our go-to guys now. Talk to them -- you won’t regret it.

Before searching through the corners of the Internet, we first asked friends for recommendations for potential general contractors, who offered nothing but horror stories! We knew remodeling our kitchen would be a huge financial investment, and we wanted to take our time finding the perfect general contractor who will meet our checklist of needs and realize our vision. As with any renovation project, unexpected surprises come up, but it's how OC Builders and Moe, handled and rectified the situation that set them apart from the rest of the general contractors in the business. My husband and I initially couldn't agree if we wanted lighting installed under our kitchen cabinets. By the time we both decided that we did want the lighting fixtures, it was too late because the drywall, the cabinets, and the backslash were already installed. Sensing our frustration and disappointment, Moe suggested a brilliant solution of opening the stucco behind the kitchen cabinets, which allowed his team to arrange all the wiring and under cabinet lighting just the way we wanted. The cherry on top was he provided this additional service at his cost! We were truly impressed! Update.

We strongly recommend this general contractor. We decided to work with them for our investment property as they were referred by one of the well-established HOA’s in OC. Now that the project is completed, we can share that this remodeling provided us an unexpected pleasant experience - shocking we know! The renovation included a complete remodel of three bathrooms, painting the interior of the property, installation of new sliding doors, drywalls, kitchen appliances, and blinds. As a designer, I tend to look at tasks in detail. We were concerned and skeptical in regard to the quality and service to be provided. However, they didn't disappoint. Not only were they professional, insightful and responsive, but they also were very patient with our requests and made modifications to insure we felt satisfied. I must say it is "Extremely" difficult to find qualified general contractors. They exceeded our expectations and set the standard for this highly scrutinized industry. We hired OC Builders for a full Kitchen remodel and an installation of a 20’ sliding door. When we met our contractor, Moe, he went over everything in detail and answered all of our questions. Moe was happy to give advice on materials and design but was also fine working with our design. It was a nice balance. We’ve had mixed experiences with contractors on smaller projects in the past but we’re so glad we hired OC for this project. Everything went as expected and there were no surprises. The original quote was pretty close to what the final charges were and the timeline went very smoothly. Moe was extremely communicative and addressed any issue we had in a timely manner. The site was always left very clean every day and the workmen were very professional. We are finished now and loving everything about our beautiful open kitchen and large new doors that open to our back yard. We will not hesitate to hire OC Builders again for future projects.
