Craftworks Construction

We've used Craftworks for a number of different projects - 2 bathrooms, a garage and a pool cabana. Would recommend them without hesitation. They are transparent, reliable, dependable, on time and nice to boot. Winning combination if you ask me. They do beautiful, meticulous work. The design of the cabana and garage is spectacular. The cabana has changed the way we use our home. Love it!! Brett and his team are great.

Brett and team were excellent to work with, Very responsive and always available for any questions/concerns that we had. We leaned on him for thoughts and ideas since this was our first renovation along with our admitted weak sense of interior design. It was clear that Brett's team liked to work for him. There were no issues with sub-contractors not showing up when they should. We were happy with the time-frame that it took Craftworks to complete our major renovation. Budget was quite higher than anticipated, but that was mostly due to our add-ons thoughout the lifecycle of the project. Would definitely recommend Craftworks. They will be on our list for any new projects that we have for the house.

We own a large home in the Buckhead area of Atlanta. The home is 20-years old. We decided to enter into a major renovation of our master bedroom, master bathroom and master closet. My father (now deceased) was a well known Atlanta architect and one of his senior designers strongly recommended Brett Winchester, owner of Craftworks Construction, to handle the renovation project for us. My wife and I met with Brett and immediately found him to be highly professional, he had comments and suggestions for the project which were very helpful, he gave us a realistic timeline for completion of the project (3.5 to 4 months) and finally he gave us a bid on the job that was extremely comprehensive. We signed a contract and got underway. We found that Craftworks' subcontractors were all highly competent and top notch craftspeople. The "fit and finish" on every item was absolutely first class. This goes from carpenters to electricians to plumbers to drywall to flooring to cabinet makers to closet designers, on and on. Craftwork's own staff were great, easy to get along with, very knowledge, very honest in that they became part of our extended family during the four months they were in our home almost every day, and Brett Winchester himself was always available on the phone for discussions and always ready to drop by the site when needed. Our job started out at $125,000 and grew to over $200,000 as we started adding many additional items to the job (since he and his subcontractors were already here) like replacing older windows and doors, much more interior and exterior painting, on and on. In the end we ended up with our original renovations completed and much, much more. I highly recommend Brett Winchester and his company Craftworks Construction for jobs large and small. By the way, Brett is also a "clean freak" and his staff and subcontractors kept the job site very clean, no debris left around, and they swept and vacuumed inside our home at the end of every work day. That's a trait hard to find in today's construction world.

Brett and everyone at Craftwrorks Construction did a fantastic job - great work, professional, on time and on budget. Even my neighbors commented on how nice and professional the Craftworks Constuction team was. My basement turned out beautifully and I couldn't be happier.

Craftworks Construction built a deck for me. The construction quality was good with one exception. There is no space between the deck boards and this is not good deck building practice. I do not know if this contributed to my problem. In any case, within a year of the build, we noticed some areas where rot was starting to form on several deck boards. I called Brett Winchester to take a look. He said there was no problem and nothing to worry about!! The problem kept getting worse, and before the four year mark there are a number of boards that need to be replaced. Brett came out again, and said that the rot problem should not be happening on pressure treated wood after such a short time. He offered to contact the wood supplier to see if they would help. This effort resulted in nothing. When it became apparent the wood supplier would not help, I proposed to Brett Winchester that I replace the decking and we split the cost. I thought this was more than fair since I don't think I should have to spend anything to replace wood on such a new deck. Brett said no. So, I am faced with an expense I should not have to make, and there is no help from either the wood supplier or Craftworks Construction. I made a poor decision and will now have to pay for it. End of Story.

Brett and the team at Craftworks Construction did a GREAT job on the renovation of our home in the Chastain Park area of Atlanta. I highly recommend them.
