Suzanne was the professional designer/decorator we needed. She helped us renovate our newly purchased older home. She is well-versed in architectural drawing with an ability to incorporate electrical and structural changes, and create ambient lighting. She helped us through the complexity of making an old kitchen a beautiful new kitchen. Her knowledge about the combination of flooring, paint colors, and fixtures made us confident and definitely lessoned our anxiety when it came to decision making. One of her best features was working with our contractor and his subs while we were able to carry on with our other responsibilities. She is calm and organized. The outcome far exceeded our expectations. We've gotten great feedback from friends and neighbors. She was the consummate professional.

I regret that I haven't written a review on the project Suzanne helped us with a few years back. The results were amazing and was a total upstairs redesign from head to toe. I love it just as much today as the day it was finished. She is very good at what she does and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone.

Suzanne Kyle has been our decorator since 2001. She was involved in all aspects of design/decorating when we build our 6800s.f. Santa Barbara style home. A few years later she helped with the remodel and furnishings for a second home which was a contemporary beach house. Suzanne is proficient in all types of design and not limited by any one style. She communicates and works well with General/Sub Contractors and is respected for her professionalism, knowledge and insight. Most importantly, Suzanne listens to her clients! She incorporates her clients' needs and wants without compromising design and does so while working within their budget and time frame. We hired Suzanne Kyle Design, Inc. to oversee a complete interior refresh of our 36 year old house. We replaced all of the carpeting in the house, repainted the entire interior, converted our living room to wood floors, replaced our front and back doors, installed overhead lighting in three bedrooms, added some new electrical outlets, replaced our whole house fan, did some sheetrock repair, tiled a half bath that had previously been carpeted and replaced three sinks. We hired Suzanne to oversee the planning of the project, procure the contractors, coordinate the timing of their work and provide esthetic suggestions. The contractors Suzanne lined up for us were uniformly excellent. We gave Suzanne a rough budget at the start of the project and we were able to stay within our suggested budget. It is always stressful to take on a project of this magnitude so we greatly appreciated Suanne lining up top quality contractors for us who did excellent work. We could not be more pleased with the end result.

We had a hallway bathroom completely re-done last year. This was the first time that we had worked with a designer. Suzanne far exceeded our expectations. She really listens to you, if there was a problem with the contractor, or something that we didn't understand, she was right there helping us to understand. We also also having our master done this year. We are looking forward to working again with her, because we know it will turn out beautiful, just as our hallway one did. Now, I am always recommended her to our friends.

Suzanne is the consummate professional with an impeccable eye for design. She listened carefully to what we wanted and was able to deliver our beautiful new kitchen very, very close to budget. Her ideas and suggestions were always on point, and I quickly realized I could simply ask her to narrow the choices, which saved me hours of looking at and debating product. The contractor she recommended was also professional, reliable, and easy to work with, and the specialists (cabinets, tile, etc.) were highly skilled. I would recommend Suzanne to anyone doing anything from a small remodel to a whole house project, including outdoor spaces.

We hired Suzanne to help us renovate our 20 year old kitchen and master bath. Suzanne offers an experienced combination of taste for design, business protocol, construction and product knowledge. Suzanne has done a great job helping us bring to life the vision we have had for our home. She is a terrific listener and designs off of our ideas instead of bringing a boiler plate design approach. I worked with Suzanne for approximately 1 year to update and neutralize the colors in my Kitchen-Great Room and Entry. She was easy to work with and gave me great advice. Her design sense is impeccable while working within my aesthetic. I wanted to retain certain items and she was respectful of that request while providing solutions and items to enhance my home. I had a catastrophic house fire in 2007 and had many décor decisions to make. A friend of mine recommended that I call Suzanne Kyle to help me make some basic choices. I was overwhelmed with the task before me. I am so happy that I made that call! Suzanne is a delightful person and has such good taste. I had the pleasure of working with Suzanne on my eco-friendly home in 2009 and I don't think I could have had a better experience. There is so much to say about how much we benefited by having her on our team, but i'll try to break it down for those considering her for a project. She was able to look at the plans and make adjustments based on her experience working with new construction and identify problems I didn't even realize were problems until I saw them being addressed in person. It was helpful to have her start at this stage since she was able to supervise the original vision her and I had come up as the project progressed. She was constantly thinking about how to make things better or what I should be looking out for. I would joke with her that I didn't need to worry because she did it for me! Integrity and working style Building a home is hard. Suzanne makes it easier. She's someone that is easy to get along with, trustworthy and looks out for your best interest. In an industry where everyone is trying to screw you, Suzanne is a breath of fresh air.
