We met Lynne Tollas at the Quiet Moose after we bought a place in Harbor Springs, MI. She not only has been careful and thoughtful about selecting pieces as if it were her own, she has gone above and beyond with deliveries, receiving and placing the beautiful furniture. Kind person, who is talented and we highly recommend connecting with her!!

Whether you are looking to find a few accent pieces to add to a cozy cabin, refurnishing an entire lake home, or searching for beautiful décor to make a statement - The Quiet Moose is the place to go. For me - trying to figure out how to visualize & make use of furniture in a room with an awkward floorplan has never been my forte. The living room in my new home has a staircase running up one wall, a pillar splitting the room on an opposite wall & is generally quite long and narrow. Figuring out how to furnish this room in particular, had been driving me crazy.. Quickly, my mind was at ease after speaking with Sheryl at The Quiet Moose. She not only helped me find the best pieces that worked perfectly with the quaint & charming vibe of my home. She also showed me multiple ways I could finish the awkward room making it work both beautifully & functionally! I was sooo impressed by her creativity & the way she was able to execute ideas and give me multiple design options to chose from. Thanks to Sheryl, I was finally able to get this room finished & could not be happier with the outcome!! I will definitely be back to work with The Quiet Moose again on my next design adventure!

Sheryl is an incredible interior designer with TQM! From decorating smaller 1,000 square foot living spaces in NYC, to much larger homes throughout the state of Michigan, condos and townhouse in Chicago, and 10,000++ sq ft. properties in Aspen and Palm Beach, Florida, she knows how to turn any space into a personal, and luxurious, yet comfortable place to live. Highly recommend!

The Quiet Moose design team is a joy to work with! They have gone above and beyond in helping us put together an amazing living space for our family. I am especially impressed by their creativity, passion around the details, and overall outstanding customer service. They have helped us with light fixtures, paint colors, home furnishings, area rugs and accessories in several rooms throughout our home. Their honesty, professionalism and knowledge has been impressive. Their patience has made the overwhelming decorating process exciting and fun. We are beyond thrilled with the finished product! This store is the epitome of elegance. The staff is excellent and Marsha, the designer I worked with, guided me to excellent selections that transformed a small condo into a lovely home.

I had the pleasure of working with Jen while building our modern home. She did an excellent job at helping our vision come true. She made selections easy on everything from window treatments, to floor coverings, to furniture selection and lighting... In addition Jen has helped with multiple commercial property renovations. QM is like our own mini design center right in Northern Michigan!

The Quiet Moose is a wonderful store full of items that you need as well as things you must have . Jennifer has found me a 100 inch hutch/ buffet (that was a hard to find )for all my stuff. Order fabric so I could make a pillow to match the clearance chair I had bought from her as well as having lamps for a guest bedroom that no one else has. Go there

A great store, whether you are shopping for furniture, or for just the right special accessory to make a room complete. It's always fun to stop in and see what new items they have added and pick up some design ideas. The staff at the store is always very helpful without being intrusive. They worked with me to custom order an island for my kitchen so I could get one that was the perfect size with great storage, but having that "vintage" feel. It also has gardens out back with beautiful views of Lake Michigan - a must see when you are in the area!

I Love working with the staff at The Quiet Moose. I ordered some beautiful grasscloth wallcovings this summer, they seem to have an endless collection of natural wallcoverings to choose from.

I worked with Jennifer at Quiet Moose to complete a renovation on my lake house. She is creative, thorough and designed a beautiful plan for our home.
