I have used RI Carpentry services for many jobs over the past few years. The last job was a remodeling of my kitchen. the job was done on time and within budget. The workmanship was beautiful and I was very pleased when the job was finished. RI carpentry also built and designed my outside oriental gazebo and deck, many bookcases and cabinets. I would use RI carpentry again and feel competent that I would get a professional and beautiful job when finished.

Russell has worked with us on a variety of projects: entryway remodel, kitchen remodel, bathroom remodel, new construction for a screen house, just to name a few of the projects. Working with him is so pleasurable because not only is he knowledgeable and skillful, he is imaginative. Consequently, he is able to suggest alternatives that are always practical, but also unique, beautiful and in harmony with existing structures. Whether he is creating an unusual roof line for our screen house, putting down a wooden floor, or creating a gorgeous shower for our small bathroom, he is wholly involved-- heart and mind. Just writing this makes me want to look around the house for something else he can do!

Russell Golde has done exceptional work on our house for the past 7 years. Russell remodeled and upgraded our kitchen and bathroom. He built us a beautiful addition complete with marble fireplace and a finished basement underneath the addition. We loved it so much that we had the rest of basement refinished complete with tile floors and hand crafted wall to wall custom wood cabinets and entertainment center. Russell also built us a beautiful screened in gazebo on our new deck. He sided the house and put on a new roof. He redid our entry way with beautifully stained hardwood floors, wood railing, and stairs. Russel is honest, trustworthy, prompt and fair. Russell has done work for our friends and family and we recommend him for your family too!

RI Carpentry Services is outstanding! Russell Golde performed two major projects for us in addition to multiple other small carpentry jobs. The first was a major addition on an existing home built in 1939. We have a beautiful traditional home and were looking for someone who was capable of high quality work. The addition included new kitchen, family room, entry, 3 bathrooms and an additional bedroom. We had an architect draw some standard plans and Russell performed the majority of the work (other than excavation/foundation, plumbing and electrical). He did a beautiful job matching the existing structure so that the addition looks like it was part of the original home. He performed all of the finish work including beautiful built in mantels, book cases, cabinets, moldings, etc. which he not only built but designed. (The plans did not contain the detail for these items and Russell was able to design and integrate them into the plan). Russell does beautiful detailed work. During the construction Russell was very easy to consult with and was able to provide us with trusted advice on all aspects of the project. He was very knowledgeable of all areas of the project, even the parts where he did not perform the work. In instances where the plans drawn by the architect were not feasible Russell was able to modify the plans and provide alternatives to the design. The addition came out spectacular. Last year we had Russell build a garage. Russell presented us with plans which he modified to match our existing home and designed and built a fabulous structure. (See pictures on his website!) Russell is a very talented design/builder. He is more that competent in his carpentry skills, and also exceptional in design and finish work. We have the highest regard for Russell as a designer/builder and would highly recommend him. He is honest, fair and professional. He has become a trusted advisor to us in all aspects relating to our home. When considering Russell please have him provide pictures of the work he did for us - it is amazing!

Russell is an outstanding craftsman. He has completed numerous projects for me including a complete kitchen renovation, total bathroom rehabs, coffered ceilings, wainscot panelling, an entire guest house and more. He continually exceeds my expectations.
