Here at Scotland Kitchen & Bath Designs, Inc. It is our goal to help make your kitchen or bath projects fun and easy for you as we go through the process from taking your thoughts and ideas, to become the finished project that you are proud to show, and work in. The owner, Ric Guy, has been in the kitchen & bath design business for over 30 years. He is well known in the industry, and has been dealing with the cabinet lines that Scotland Kitchen & Bath Designs, Inc. carries from 10 to 17 years. Either as a designer, or a representitive for the cabinet lines. Ric is also an NKBA Kitchen Design Specialist, along as a lifetime member of the Cambridge Who's Who in business. Scotland has completed two very unique projects for our home. Ric is an excellent designer and problem solver. He has a great "can-do" attitude and a keen eye for detail; the man knows his cabinetry. SK&B carries several lines of high quality cabinets. Ric Guy assisted us in designing a beautiful and highly functional kitchen within our desired budget. Additionally, he responded quickly when contacted and was present for cabinet delivery and granite installation to ensure the orders were correct and installation went smoothly. We are very pleased with our new kitchen.

He may not have a fancy showroom but Ric is a class act. He really knows cabinets and has high quality products to choose from. Ric worked closely with my kitchen designer (Jeanine Turner) from the very beginning, on a major kitchen remodel, producing detailed plans and renderings at a very early stage, along with estimates not just on the cabinets, but on appliances and countertops also. Ric was very patient with all the changes as they evolved and always cheerful to work with. He quickly responded to my many questions along the way. Ric followed through and was on site for all the cabinet and countertop installs. I would very happily work with Ric again and heartily recommend him. My new kitchen is beautiful.

We recently used Scotland to rehab a small master bath in my son's 30 year old condo he purchased last year. I used my own contractor but used Ric for the vanity and the purchase of the countertop from RocTops. Ric is the best as I have used his expertise to also remodel my kitchen and powder room using Showplace products. From measurement to selection of the cabinet the job was a success. Ric gives personal service and makes sure the customer is 100% satisfied. The cabinet was exactly as ordered and flaw free. The contractor said it fit perfectly and was solidly constructed of maple wood. We used the pecan stain and after all the finishing touches were done, we would use Ric again. You might find cheaper cabinets but Showplace is is a good value in a crowded and confusing cabinet market.

Mr. Guy helped me with the purchase of a cabinet for my bathroom. He came out to my home the same day I phoned him to take a look at my bathroom and to take measurements. He is very educated and informative in his field. He acted as my liaison throughout the whole process guiding me and keeping me on track with my purchase of a counter top, faucet and contractor. He accompanied me when I made my purchases and made the appropriate introductions to the reps. Mr. Guy treated me with respect and answered all of my many questions. He was very patient and guided me along. He took extra measures to problem solve and was very reliable. I would recommend Mr. Guy for your bath & kitchen renovations.
