My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

About Us

A native Oklahoman, Carissa’s eye for design sprouted from her upbringing and travels abroad in Singapore and Dubai. Upon graduating high school, she returned to her Oklahoma roots where she graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma. Carissa’s passion for creating beautiful spaces began with blogging about the renovation of her own 1920’s craftsman style bungalow. From there, her passion for design flourished and Scout Studios began. Her signature style is often described as “cultivated” and “classic”. She enjoys incorporating a mix of pieces a client already owns, and scouting for one of a kind pieces which bring a room to life.

Scout Studios services were phenomenal, I had been looking for a contractor to remodel my kitchen with a budget in place to no avail. Upon meeting with Carissa, we decided to move the kitchen to an entirely different and bigger room while still coming in under budget and a week earlier than planned. Carissa's design and color ideas were spot on. Carissa's ability to source and work with contractors and deadlines made me feel at ease throughout the project.

Very talented young woman. I hired Carissa for the remodel and design of our living/dining room. She was able to envision what we wanted/needed, and create a space that everyone wants to be in now. The transformation that took place was incredible. (Photos above) she worked with us to create a truly unique design plan that not only looks great but functions the way we need it to. Definitely recommend her!!

I hired Scout Studios for a quick kitchen update. I had a small budget and a strong willingness to cut costs by doing as much of the labor myself as possible. Carissa was able to completely transform the space with the limited funds available. I was so afraid of having to store away my favorite cook books but Carissa found the cutest way to put them on display, simple yet modern. I'm absolutely obsessed with my kitchen and all my friends were shocked at the quick transformation. Carissa's tastes are impeccable. She is professional and thoughtful in all that she does.
