Dear Sealy Design Team, I just wanted to send a huge thank you. Thanks to all of you, my house is now a showpiece . So, here’s to you: Thank you for all your creativity and patience along the way. I’m genuinely grateful and just a little bit in awe of what you’ve accomplished. Thanks a million!

It would not be an exaggeration to say Karen and the Sealy Design team has had a tremendous impact on our family. We have worked with Karen for over twenty years on design and renovation projects both large and small. Most recently Karen and her team led the design of a complete re-contruction of our main floor home, giving me the kitchen of my dreams and a living space that makes me happy every time I enter it. I would recommend Sealy Design without hesitation, particularly for challenging spaces or projects where maximizing usable space and/or space planning is required. I believe Karen Sealy is a design wizard! Not only did she school me on where I should not be wasting time or money on the renovations I thought we should tackle, she blew my mind on a potential plan that was completely out of my realm of possibilities. I love her ideas!

I love Karen's sense of style and understanding of function! I have appreciated her ability to look at a problem, consider my concerns, and create a new idea that works, with both appeal and functionality. Seeing as my project is in the Los Angeles area, I have yet to meet Karen in person, but I have certainly enjoyed our conversations. In fact, I can say that the most pleasant experience I had during our whole process of creating a custom home was when I was able to work with Karen, back and forth, to hammer out something that we would like. Furthermore, our building project has been fraught with delays due to city building permitting issues, but Karen has patiently waited and offered her support throughout. It is such a relief to know that I do not have to deal with any extra pressures or burden in this process, but instead I have help, ready and waiting, when we are ready.

Upon meeting Karen, we were very impressed with her knowledge of construction details, ideas and vision for our home. She listened carefully to our wishes and offered solutions within our budget. Karen designed our dream kitchen and we absolutely love it. The details and finishes are exquisite. The flow of the house is open and welcoming and exactly how we envisioned it. Karen's team: Diane, Victoria and Hayley were a pleasure to work with and always ensured our questions were answered in a timely manner. We are so happy to have worked with Sealy Design for our home renovation!

I contracted Karen and her design team to revamp my bedroom on a limited budget and the results were more than impressing. It started with a personable consultation which determined my needs and set the ground work for the project. It was clearly evident I had chosen the best. I was so confident in Karen’s expertise that I entrusted Karen and her dream team to carry out their design visions and chose not to interfere in the decision making process. In respect to the budget, they did everything possible to keep my costs down without jeopardizing the overall project. I am so happy I left all the decisions up to the experts!!! For a small condo my room is now far more functional, appears bigger and most importantly I am now utilizing the room more frequently and loving every moment I spend in this space! Karen brought professionalism, design leadership and enthusiasm last fall with her work on the overhaul of our condo. Karen managed to find us three things that we needed: •Storage with her exceptional use of built-ins •A feeling of light and calm with her neutral palette suggestions for our flooring, cupboards and stone counter •Flow from the kitchen into the dining room (it was previously rooms) Working in a condo can be difficult as elevator times need to be booked and plans pre-approved by the board. She and her team worked in collaboration with the contractors and our condo’s building management team to ensure that timelines were met with no hassle on our part. Any renovation can be stressful. We have worked with others in the past and felt like we had to do most of the project planning ourselves—it was unbelievably nerve-wracking! This was not the case Sealy Design. Karen kept us grounded with a sense of humour and by managing our expectations from a timing perspective from start to finish. Karen; thank you for your help in turning our space into our home.
